ADF table: selected Emission line color

JDeveloper 12.1.3

There is a very important problem that users are complaining. One of our application page has a table which allows selections. To explain this issue, it matters little whether it is the simple selection table or multi. Basically when the line is selected, the color of the line becomes gray which is ok. However, if the user focuses on an input text box, select the table line becomes pale yellow (almost of the mixtures in the color of the lines not selected) and for many users this causes is not about whether or not the line is selected.

Is it possible to have only a gray color for the selected lines?

OK I thought about it. This should be added to the default selection:

af|table::data-row:selected af|column::data-cell,
af|table::data-row:selected af|column::banded-data-cell{
    font-weight: bold;
    background-color: red;
}

    User,

    You don't need Javascript to do this. Have a read of the article 18 of the Guide of the Oracle User Interface Developer Web for Oracle Application Development Framework (found [url http://download.oracle.com/otn_hosted_doc/jdeveloper/11/doc/b31973.pdf] here for more information on creating a custom look. Unfortunately, the documentation for the selectors to use, who should be in a help topic JDev titled "" Selectors for ADF Faces components of counting merger"do not exist yet :(. However, you can check here [url http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/adf/adffaces/11/doc/skin-selectors.html#] for this information.

    Selectors that may be of interest:

    . AFTableCellDataSelectedBandedColor:alias
    . AFTableCellDataSelectedInactiveColor:alias

  • ADF table selected displayRow does not display the selected line

    Hello

    JDev 11.1.2.4

    I have a table with selection enabled and displayRow property the value selected. In the workflow, I have an ExecuteWithParams activity, and then a method activity that restores the current iterator of the line. Finally the activity view that displays the table.

    Restore the current line with key

    Iterator DCIteratorBinding = ADFUtils.findIterator ("MyIterator");

    iterator.setCurrentRowWithKey (currentKey); currentKey is a string

    The question I have is that the current line is properly restored, but the table does not display the page of "range" of the current line while the displayRow is the selected value. My table has 500 rows, the table displays the top 25 while the current line is the 500th line. I expect the table to display the line 475 to 500 line.

    What I am doing wrong?

    Thank you

    You can save the index lines before executing your method and then set the iterator to this index.

    The technique is described in this blog https://tompeez.wordpress.com/2016/02/12/naviagting-an-aftable-in-pagination-mode-from-a-bean/

  • Tree ADF table selection

    Hello

    I want to set the disabled property of a button based on the selected line in a picture of the tree.

    Is it possible that I can achieve in the fragment of the page itself instead of using a managed bean method?

    My version of Jdev is 11.1.1.6.

    Please suggest a way.

    Assuming that your table of the tree is from an adf bc you should be able to do. You assign the property to disable the index value of the selected row.

  • ADF Table retrieves all lines during the loading of the page

    Hello

    We have a requirement where we need run the query programmatically by giving the query column and its value.

    I used the code below in the AMimpl.java and calling this method during the click on the button Search my Search Page.

    I am able to get the features you want on the search page by clicking the search button.

    The question now is when the page initially loads, the table fetches all rows of the VO by default.

    Can you please let me know where I need to change so that the table will get no line on the initial load of the page?

    ' public void setVoParams (String columnName, String columnValue) {}

    ViewObject mapVO = this.getFusionSapMapping1 ();

    String whereClause = "MappingEO." + columnName + "" as: colValue ";"

    mapVO.setWhereClause (whereClause);

    mapVO.defineNamedWhereClauseParam ("colValue", null, null);

    mapVO.setNamedWhereClauseParam ("colValue", columnValue);

    mapVO.executeQuery ();

    Hello

    You don't tell us your version of JDeveloper.

    An easier approach to implement your condition is to use the property refreshCondition of your iterator. Here is an example of how do: https://blogs.oracle.com/shay/entry/delay_method_execution_when_us

  • ADF Table - current line does not prepare the first time.

    version 12.1.3

    I try to display data from a rest service as ADF table (select read-only, a single line). I added the edit on the last column button, so each line has its own button change (it is a requirement). By clicking on edit takes you to the next page to change the selected line in the form layout.

    The question that I am running is, when first loading of the page and display the table and if I select a line any except first and click on 'Edit', it still gives me the first row. It works as expected when I click on other lines in a subsequent attempt.

    How can I solve this problem?

    Thank you very much.

    Found the fix. I have just the property "immediate" of the button to true.

    Is it possible to alternate the color of the lines of the ADF table? Do I have to use a skin?

    Code example would be much appreciated.

    Thank you, Mitch

    Read about the line of the bands here:
    http://download.Oracle.com/docs/CD/E12839_01/apirefs.1111/e12419/tagdoc/af_table.html
    Basically, you can use the rowBandingInterval attribute.

  • View and edit the currently selected line of ADF Table in the form of ADF

    I have an ADF Table read-only and the shape of the ADF, which were created from the same data control.
    I need to be able to edit the selected table in the form line (as in the 'Controls data binding to your JSF page' part of 'Development of RIA Web Applications with Oracle ADF' tutorial). However, I can't figure out how to make :(

    I found the following solution on the Web: #{bindings. DeptView1.currentRow.dataProvider.dname} - but it does not, since "the oracle.jbo.server.ViewRowImpl class does not have the dataProvider.

    Sorry for the newbie question.
    Thanks in advance for any help!

    Hello

    As far as I KNOW, the dataProvider only is not supported on ADF BC, where the error.

    If you have created the table on my own reading of the ADF and the form of the same data control simply refresh the form based on the table selection is displayed recording selected, for which this just add partialTriggers property to the panelFormLayout and set its value to the id of table

  • Table (ADF 11 g) does not get updated on the selection of lines...

    Hi all

    I have a table element (ADF 11 g) in my page with the selection of multiple lines. I have my own row selection listener. Whenever I have select several lines with the CTRL key, the table is getting updated. It is fetching the data again for each selection. I don't want the table to get updated whenever I select a line. In the im listener manually selected do the line current. The code below is the table row selection listener.

    public void tableRowSelectionListener (SelectionEvent selectionEvent)
    {
    Add the code in the event here...
    String tableRowSelectionListener = "tableRowSelectionListener";
    Table richeTableau = (RichTable) selectionEvent.getComponent ();
    Set of keys to RowKeySet = table.getSelectedRowKeys ();
    Txn_id = number ((Number) ((Key) ((List) keySet.toArray () [0]) .get (0)) .getAttribute (0));
    int noRowsSelected = ((List) keySet.toArray () [0]) .toArray () .length;
    Rank [txnrows] = null;
    if(noRowsSelected == 1)
    {
    PscTransactionsViewImpl txnVO = (PscTransactionsViewImpl) amImpl.getPscTransactionsView2 ();
    if(txnVO!=null)
    txnrows = txnVO.findByKey (new Key (new Object [] {txn_id}),-1);
    If (txnrows! = null & & txnrows.length > 0)
    {
    SelectedRow PscTransactionsViewRowImpl = (PscTransactionsViewRowImpl) txnrows [0];
    txnVO.setCurrentRow (selectedRow);
    }
    }
    }

    How to select a row in the table easily (without the table is refreshed). ?

    Thanks in advance,
    Swathi

    Hi swati,

    Set property of 'changeeventpolicy' on 'none' & 'useRowHints' to 'default' for the list that you iterate.

  • How to get the selected row in a programmatic table of the ADF (table generated from a bean)

    Hi all

    We use JDeveloper Studio Edition Version 12.1.3.0.0 and deployed on GlassFish Server Open Source Edition 3.1.2.2 (build 5) and connect to the SQLServer database.

    How to get the selected line in a programmatic (using a SortableModel custom not a display object) ADF table (generated from a bean)?

    We are trying to get the selected row in a bean of a programmatic ADF table to retrieve data based on the selected line.

    Any idea?

    Well, you can use selectionListener to set the selected line to a variable of bean (but this bean must be in extended view or some superiors)

    Something like this: http://www.awasthiashish.com/2015/07/get-selected-row-singlemultiple-from.html

  • Updating of the ADF Table strangely after delete line

    Hello

    I use ADF Table with ArrayList to the model of the collection. I do not use View object

    < af:table var = value ' row' = "#{pageFlowScope.dataBean.collectionModel}"... "

    I have a SelectOnceChoice in each row of the table and bind their values to a property of the line

    < af:selectOneChoice value = "#{row.label}"... "

    I have a command link to remove each line and the delete method:

    collectionModel.remove (idx);

    The model is correctly updated, but the table of the ADF is not. Somehow, the value of the selection of the next line is set to the value of the deleted row.

    For example: If there two select with values respectively: Foo, Bar. If I remove the line with Foo, the remaining line (initially Bar) is set to Foo.

    If I refresh (F5) the page, it appears correctly. I also tried to use addPartialTarget and partialTriggers but no help.

    Can someone help me? Thanks in advance.

    Hello

    Previously I use table binding, that's why it has that name.

    BTW, I don't know what's causing the problem. It is related to the life cycle ADF. I put the immediate = "true" for the select box and it is working fine now.

    Concerning

  • SelectionListener ADF table fault line did not

    Hi all

    I came across this well-known problem:

    SelectionListener not firing when only 1 result of searching in a table

    SelectionListener ADF table question

    Listener First Row af selection problem: table in ADF 11 g | _outwardBound

    Basically the selectionListener on the table of the ADF is not triggered for the selected standard line, or if the table has only one line, when you filter a column and the result returns only a single line or even when you turn off the filters and it shows you once again all the lines, marking the first such as selected.

    To summarize, the selectionListener is launched when the user clicks on a different line, but not from the default (even if the user clicks on it on purpose).

    I know that there are a few workarrounds, but who may not be suitable for the use of each case on these old threads.

    I think that, given that the line is selected (does'nt matter whether or not it is by default), the developers expect the listener to be pulled in all cases and that this behavior is a bug.

    My question is, given that this problem is still happening in jdev 12.1.3, if there are plans to fix this in future versions.

    Thank you.

    We cannot answer that. To get a response, you must file an SR with support.oracle.com and seek support for a date it a fix.

  • Jdev ADF 11G: selection of multiple rows in a table does not work

    Hello

    I'm having a problem to select several lines in a table ADF using Jdev 11 G.

    A table of the ADF fell on the JSP and "Line Selection" is checked, when asked. In properties, change "RowSelection" "multiple". When running, the table upwards without that user can check for lines that they want to select the first column. A row can be selected by clicking anywhere on this line. Even with the 'Control' key is pressed, it does not allow the user to select multiple lines.

    Y at - it something wrong this function or have I missed something? Help, please.

    Thank you very much

    Annie

    Try this. delete this table. Drag 'n drop it again. Just change rowSelection "multiple" to "single". Run the page and see. in this way, you know what was wrong if it works?
