ADFS Configuration Wizard error

I can't after 'Specify the primaries Federation Server and Service account' page of the wizard's Configuration of ADFS.  Here is the error I get:

I am trying to add a 2nd Server 2008 R2 on a farm, but I don't know (and I'm not) I have set up the first server as a "new Federation servers.  I think I chose 'autonomous Federation Server' (it was almost 3 years ago).  Now, the wizard of Configuration of ADFS link does not appear on the page preview or in the Action menu on the first server, so I can not re - run the wizard and change my server farm option.  I also not sure what the reason for the error I get.  Anyone see this before?

Hello

Apologize for the delayed response. That you try to configure the ADFS, I would ask you to send the request in the TechNet forum for better support.

  • Error in the configuration wizard. Unable to connect to the router.

All connections are correct.  I am able to connect to IE and FireFox with ethernet and connected my corner via "Linksys".  I opened with ISP address and configure security.  Is there more in the configuration I have to do?

What is the model number of your router? If the internet connection is working well, then you need not to worry the installation disc. As long as you know how to set up the router manually and able to access the interface of the router then there is nothing to worry about. It is with the disk configuration wizard is exceeded or there could be some firewall software on the computer that is blocking the setup of your router to detect Wizard. It is the most common problem I encountered, but well it's always the manual configuration. If you do not need to install and use the software just go to the linksys download site, or you can also consider using another computer.

  • vCAC6 IaaS installation fails with configuration wizard - cannot run SQL Create User command

    Kia Ora.

Put together the first poc vCAC6. The devices are in place and works fine, now up to IaaS Win2k8r2 with local SQL Express and this install fails. Pre-Reqs work. Installed and patched .NET 4.5 (not 4.5.1) as well.

I installed as a local administrator on the server arrived at the field of IaaS. Installation running. EXE using run as administrator.

The installation creates the database in SQL Express premises. I slowly raised privileges to solve the problems, but the same lines are written to the LOG file and there is an installation failed.

Is not not a SQL guru, I tried to elevation of privileges and exchanged between using SQL and Microsoft connection. tried to hook up with a new SQL and AD security with rights to MSDB db_owner account. Also as a 'Microsoft authenticated. " each re - run provides the same statements without worrying if the localMachine\Administrator account exists or not.

    Any help much appreciated.

Thank you and happy new 2014!

    Hi there.

I added the administrator account of the local computer in the security of SQL Express to the sysadmin role and installation is complete. ?!? Although I tried to use the SA account to install and the same messages of error and success in this file as well newspapers runs.

    Now these lines look like this;

News: 2014-01-15 10 21 50 978 hours: Service NVCACIAAS\Administrator account is the same account that creates the database.  Task of grant of role of ignored by the database owner.

News: 2014-01-15 10 21 50 994 hours: Service NVCACIAAS\Administrator account is the same account that creates the database.  Task of grant of role of ignored by the database owner.

If it is installed, but I don't know why I need to raise the local Sysadmin role administrator account so he could complete or why to create the user account wrong localMachine\Administrator in installation because there was.

I've rolled back to a previous snapshot and was able to repeat the failure until I added this user account to the Sysadmin role.

Her go configuration and usage vCAC now. I'll repeat the installation at a later stage.

    see you soon

  • Oracle - wrong directory for spfile configuration wizard

I use management and Configuration Tools. configuration wizard to create a database model (structure and data) on Windows from an existing database.
When I try to create a database from this template on another machine, I get an error failed to create the spfile.
The reason is that on the original machine the spfile is on drive G, and I don't have a single drive on the computer target, which is C.

The location of the G drive is specified in the audit_file_dest model, background_dump_dest, core_dump_dest and user_dump_dest.

The problem is that there no place in creating a model, or the creation of model db, to edit these locations and specify another directory.

Is there a way to disable using spfile during the creation of the model on the original machine? Or an another workaround?

You can change the template, it is just an xml file.

What should I do to solve this problem and the installation completes successfully?

    Hello

the first on the ps and grep commands, you are right on the line 1, which is the command line:
to avoid that you can do
    PS - DTS | grep-i runinstaller. grep - v grep

After you have used the user fuser, it gives you the process id 32275

so with the PID number you can do:
    PS - DTS | grep 32275

This will give you the application that is currently running and pointing to the log file.

Although fuser * shows that the log files are still used?
Yes it is but the name of the process is different. so try to grep for your PID number.

Sorry, I always do silent installation at the beginning and clone the database after.

    I remember that I used the wizard dbca-silent - responsefile /local_dir/dbca.rsp
Also the netca (network configuration assistant) is performed during installation?

What should I do to solve this problem and the installation completes successfully?
You want to run the netca and the dbca after the software is installed?

I do not use dbca.rsp because I did not choose the advanced configuration of database in my enterprise.rsp, and IE that using dbca.rsp is just incase I choose advanced configuration which is number = 2.
So what settings do I need to switch to the runInstaller, am I still missing something that prevents installation stuck without giving answers or errors?

After the installation is carried out with the silent mode, can you please check which process is still written on the installation log files?

Otherwise, try for example running sqlplus (control that all you stuff environments is implemented as a path, ORACLE_SID, ORACLE_HOME, etc...)

    This command works?

  • Oracle Fusion Middleware Configuration Wizard does not display alternative OAM

    @

I m install OAM. I installed Weblogic and the MRI suite. When I start the Oracle Fusion Middleware Configuration Wizard, I expect to see an alternative to choose to create a new domain or use an existing one. Im not seeing this and rather Im getting a text information of General information. When I click Next I get only the alternative to configure OIM OAM not or any other component.

    No idea why this is?

    Hello Stefan,

Where you start the config.sh from? It must be run from $MW_HOME/oracle_common/bin/config.sh

You can then select either a new domain or extend an existing domain, where you can select Oracle Access Management.

    Kind regards

  • "Cannot find the dbcodes file": PeopleSoft database Configuration Wizard

    Hello

I am setting up a new installation of PeopleSoft, based on a copy of the record of my client PS_HOME. I installed before PeopleSoft, but I used the latest versions and started from scratch. Now I use PS HRMS 8.9 and PT 8.48 on a Windows 2003 server. I followed the manual to install 8.48 PT (installation of third party tools, using configuration manager), except for the wizard to install PT, because the files are already there. I changed all config files I had to include suitable locations for PS_HOME, Oracle database drivers, etc.

Now, I'm trying to use the database Configuration Wizard to automate the creation of the database using Oracle 10.1.0.5.0. After you have selected a non-unicode database, I click Next, select the character set, and then when I click Next again once I get the message "Cannot find the dbcodes file."

I checked in the folder PS_HOME/setup and there are two dbcodes files: dbcodes.pt and dbcodes.hc. It is originally a kind of confusion, or the wizard missing the dbcodes file somewhere else? Or maybe that's another question altogether, I'm not sure.

    Thanks for the help.

To start with PS_APP_HOME introduced in PeopleTools 8.52.

On the road to Peoplesoft: Peopletools 8.52: the PS_APP_HOME variable

As you run on PeopleTools 8.48, the application is installed in the PS_HOME.

ptengs. DB is used to create a single database of PeopleTools, you try to create a database of HCM. This file will not be used when creating your database.

If you want to create your copy of HCM all files from 'PS_APP_HOME' to PS_HOME database and start Data Mover with option to create database.

    Should do the trick.

Second error: "unable to test the connection.

    (1) I have validated that the path contains the path to 64-bit SQL tools.

    (2) the ODBC connection is set up under 64-bit and 'System' - it is also 32 bits of the system and user Setup, but also the 64-bit user.

    (3) I used the SQL Server sqlcmd.exe with access code and was able to connect from this machine and run the SQL commands.

    (4) I'm sure I've done the other stuff but don't remember.

Please let me know if anyone experienced this or has any ideas.  I'm waiting on Oracle to react to the case after I opened it when their suggestion didn't work.

    Thank you

    Ryan

I ended up working with Oracle Support, that had me do some things... I also did a thing on my own and with these changes, I am able to connect now.  If it does not please let me know... I tried a few other things that I don't think had no effect.

    (1) removed the Environment Variable "PS_SERVER_CFG" - I found in a document oracle that this could cause problems.  I have not set this manually, but Oracle says it is used to run data mover or SQR scripts outside of the process scheduler.  It must have been added as part of the installation so I'll add it again later.  This change did put a slight change to error messages, so it have some effect, but does not solve everything.

    (2) with the upgrade of 8.53 8.54 I had to add a 32-bit ODBC user DSN.  Even if change assistant 8.54 uses 64-bit, it seems that 8.53 connections are still serving who connects via ODBC 32-bit.

    (3) make sure that the paths configured in the wizard to change are not UNC, if they are matched with a drive and configure using readers.

    Good luck.

  • Change the Wizard error

    We are on PT 8.53.04 and end/SCM 9.10 Windows/MS-SQL

Change Wizard is run on the Windows Server, not the client

Other users can run Assistant change without problem, but I get the below error after I connected, validated configuration and click "apply packages:

    CA_ERROR.jpg

As I said, it is run on the server and others can use it OK, so this isn't the CA configuration that is the problem. Does anyone have an idea how I can reduce this problem?

    Thank you

    2844096

Yes, I think that this has something to do with the zip file, you try to use or have permissions to it.  the extractProject is probably trying to remove the project zip file and can't.  I would look at the file updxxxxxx.zip see if your username can read or extract properly.

  • VCSA 5.5u3d setup wizard error (single sign-ON)

    Nice day.

I got an error message when you deploy vcsa in the start (in step "Configuration of SSO") Assistant:

If I try to configure PASS-THROUGH authentication in the web interface and not through the wizard, I got the error without name, however the result of the test of the SSO settings is OK.

    Any ideas?

Ok then. The problem is resolved.

I took the other version of the VCSA (5.5u3b instead of 5.5u3d), done the same things as before, but also I noticed that there is no option 'domain' dans/etc/resolv.conf, so I added it. All the steps I did:

    1. Add "domain uitisk.local" for the short name resolution.

    2 disable ipv6 (in/etc/sysconfig/sysctl)

    3. change the time zone to VCSA to redevelop link to/etc/localtime

    4. fix the time synchronization ESXi on which VCSA is deployed.

I guess the main step is the 1.
