[INS 20802] Failure of the database Oracle Configuration Wizard

I am trying to install Oracle 11 g R2 on my windows 7 Professional, computer 64-bit. After 42% of the installation, it began to show that some files are missing. Few of them are:

Installation instructions missing ear and war files because it is not followed. Both zip files must be unzipped in a folder before that setup.exe is called.   • JumpStartKit installation hangs at 87% complete when creating the database / instance configuration

    Hello people, I am wanting to evaluate Oracle WebCenter Portal 11.1.1.8 (huge improvement over 11.1.1.7, which I have already given a quick test in the VDI provided by Oracle).

    So, I've discovered this Jump Start Kit that installs every needed part once you have a properly configured Linux environment. I had fun with the prereqs but now that everything is finished and I am so EXCITED to make it past 'STAGE 4 '.

    So now, I encounter the same problem during installation - STEP 6 of 22 Configuration of the database Instance (creating database filling) it gets 87% complete and then nothing seems to happen, it never beyond this point, even if I wait 10 hours more:

    I use VirtualBox on Windows 7, I tried several times, first with the OS as Oracle Linux 6, then Oracle Linux 5 (learning to update the version of Java of fun!).

    It always happens at the same point, and then it just seems do nothing - no progress, but no error no message on the screen (see below the log files). But it seems to use less than 5%... the use of the processor and 10 hours of waiting makes no difference.

    After that I got tons of Google to search, I tried increasing my paging file, adding more memory and disk space (12 GB of RAM and 10 GB sap) and 20 GB of free space on the hard disk, but still nothing has changed.

    In post #2 of this thread, I'll give you separately the registration details that I hope will be useful.

    Installation with installation "office" is not the problem - no conflicting package it.

    I did add a short and FULL in/etc/hosts domain name and use the HTTP_SERVER_NAME option.  (But again, that shouldn't cause any problems during dbca.)

    I didn't install VBox extensions, since I'm just using a text installation (and created a corresponding configuration for VBox and vSphere), but I don't know that this is unrelated to all the.

    Regarding packages, if the database installs fine (which did you), your packages may very well.

    Here is my kickstart file - maybe you can try to use it, and then we can rule out configuration problems.  After the kickstart, everything I do is copy the installation files (in fact, I have them on a separate vmdk I just ride), and:

  • Cannot connect to the database Oracle Hyperion EPM 11.1.2

    Hello!
    I'm deployment Hyperion EPM 11.1.2 on a single machine with Windows 2008 R2 x 64. I created an Oracle database, and I can connect to it through SQL, so everything looks ok here. I also installed the Oracle Client for Win x 64 and ODP on my machine. The installation of Hyperion EPM also completed successfully, and then I went to set it up. I have entered the database connection information:

    Server: the IP address of the machine >

    Username: Oracle user with the role of s/n >

    And then I click on 'Next' and I get the error message: + "" i/o error: the network adapter could not establish the connection "+"

    I would point out that I also had a problem connecting to the Oracle SQL Plus error first database: "ORA - 12560:TNS:protocol adapter error. But after the creation of the ORACLE_SID environment variable by assigning the name of the database, this error disappeared.

    No.it is not possible.you need it uninstall and then reinstall 11.2.0.3

    Hi all
    Currently I'm going to Oracle DBA in the production support team. I get call from the Configuration Management team that come to this team. I don't have much knowledge about the CM. Now my question is

    1. What is the average of the Configuration management? What is the process generally goes into CM? It has no connection with oracle dba support?
    2. If I'm going to and Configuration management work, again I can come to field support for s/n?
    3. the CM is good for the growth of the carrer...?

    After 1000 posts, you need to understand that 10g is not a version number, but a marketing label. That's what says the error message,

    ORA-00257: archiver error. Connect internal only, until freed.

Cause: The archiver process received an error while trying to archive a redo log. If the problem is not resolved soon, the database will stop executing transactions. The most likely cause of this message is the destination device is out of space to store the redo log file.

Action: Check the archiver trace file for a detailed description of the problem. Also, verify that the device specified in the initialization parameter archive_log_dest is set up properly for archiving.

    If you simply deleted files using the command o/s, it don't will not update the control file that these files are no longer available and space mapped by them must be released. If you must use cross-checking of the RMAN command to confirm the deletion and mark the file as expired and then you will have to issue delete expired . Apart from this, the only option would be to add more space to the destination where you store the archive logs.

    I just installed oracle 11xe on a redhat enterprise 5 server. It's a virtual server where we have no GUI.
    I can access the apex (host: 8080 / apex) page on my browser, but how to do on the database Home Page as shown

    Start / database home page url is http://host:8080/apex/f? p = 4950 (as long as remote connections are allowed by Apex and animator).

    In the same document, read section 3 and 4 on installing and getting started with Oracle SQL Developer.

    You can also use a telnet/ssh client such as putty to access the host and then launch sqlplus locally. But the Apex sql commands could be better if you want style "gui".

    I was looking for a patch of database being upgraded. After the database owner (enviroment) to supply file, I used the following command from $ORACLE_RDBMS_HOME/OPatch directory, command like $ OPatch lsinventory, he listed all the patches and updated patch also.

    'OPatch lsinventory' must list all patches applied to $RDBMS_ORACLE_HOME. For the level of database of the Group of hotfixes, you can use one of the instructions above to get the version. In addition, you can check to the BONE by running executable files (i.e. sqlplus, impdb... etc).

    And on request, I used-> -use $AD_TOP/sql/adutconf.sql , it is perfectly correct.

    I created an application in the generator of forms of oracle 10g. He got different modules.

    I created a different user manual for each module in Microsoft Word.I to store word documents in the database and need to open this document of the application user's manual.
