  The brightness of the display can be controlled by the FN + F7 and Fn + F6.
  I think you should install the VAP and buttons of the Support of Flash memory card utility in order to get this to work!

  I thought about it. My drivers intel had to be installed since I reinstalled windows. I used the utility of intel and updated driver to update the graphics card update

  For external monitor, please try another cable and another screen if available or check if the cable and the screen work fine with other devices

  For brightness problem please try to go to under view Device Manager right click on the Intel driver cards and choose Properties
  On the driver tab, click roll back driver, if it is dimmed, try to download and install the driver from the link below

  I just bought a new laptop Yoga 2 but I can't seem to adjust the brightness of the screen using the keyboard (WIN + F11/F12) shortcut key. All WIN + KEY combos work. I saw there were similar problems for other users and the solution seems to be to reinstall the video driver intel. I did exactly that, but it did not work for me.

  I don't know why you are puzzled, it of an all in one, just like a laptop and works just like a laptop in terms of these functions. It is NOT a monitor with the possibility to be connected to a variety of different sources.

  If it is not common, if you went the advanced settings for the display, you will also gain adjustments more and you can really bumble in there if you try.

  I'm not sure when this problem started, but I'm guessing it's when I've updated my graphics driver (Nvidia) or software of the chipset (Intel).

  After a while, I noticed that my brightness keyboard shortcuts were not working, but other hotkeys (touchpad, volume, sleep, wi - fi, bluetooth, etc.) were still working.

  It is a function of the keyboard drivers custom on all laptop computers the most. HP called launch fast, not sure of Acer.

  You must log in to the Acer website, search for your model and see if they have a keyboard driver for your model laptop for Windows 7

  Settings > display > Advanced display settings > view the adapter properties

  Then properties > driver tab > Update Driver button.

  Just got a new unit, and one of the first things after how to turn it on, in the getting started manual, it's that if we push the button 'On' and then hit the + or - less buttons, it adjusts the brightness of the screen.   I can confirm that the 10BII + adjusting the contrast has very little effect.

  When you look at the screen at a low angle, the number "off" and the lights can be seen to slightly increase & decrease the contrast.

  For normal use, the contrast setting has no useful effect.

  Try to use Recovery Manager to reinstall your particular graphics driver (AMD, Nvidia, Intel etc.) - the procedure to use the Recovery Manager to reinstall the drivers and software is detailed in the document in question on the link below.
