I have a Windows 7 32 bit installed on another PC and sound box has different control options - no Beats Audio. Why is sound different? I think if the Beats change sound controls in Control Panel, these controls should work?

  Thanks, Jacques. Your HP link provides instructions to one of the many interfaces Audio Beats - not all the same and not mine.

  It appears there is an 'in progress' by HP by the following link solution, but it will be for HP to release a new SoftPaq (no Service Pack, I declare here) to solve the problem. That could take weeks or months. I'll post here if they do.

  Vista doesn't seem to have a built-in equilizer and nor does the bad IDT its usefulness. How can I lower bass levels?

  Just moved HP Pavilion dv8t-1000 CTO and the treble/bass indicator keeps popping up with no set position - required bar increase or decrease. Very annoying. Any ideas?

  Hi all

  I sent the compuer back and detailed the litany of problems. He was returned about three weeks ago and worked fine. I didn't report again just in case something turned up. Also, I hope I have this jinx not to realize that everything is ok.

  The form returns with the laptop has enabled (reconfigured) hard drive, an extra box indicating the update of the BIOS and verified where keyboard technology has added 'Restraint' in the keyboard area. I suspect that it has something to do with the bass/trebl command.

  • No more noisy fan (when it turns cool it is very quiet).
  • No more wild and crazy popup Treble/Bass
  • Wireless begins to backup on the awakening from the sleep (one of the techs told me that the wireless was not supposed to return during the restart of sleep.)

• Pavilion HPE h9 - 1150t Phoneni: upgrade Windows 10 - beats his problem (same question new submitter)

  I waited until the last minute (literally) from Win7 to Win10. While waiting I kept with all the blogs of Win10 HP. My HP all-in-1 printer works fine thanks to the blog to support, but I still have trouble getting my BOSE speakers to sound as they did with Beats on Win 7.

  I downloaded and installed the driver IDT HiDef Audio CODEC compatible, but the sound quality is still poor. The sound "Speakers/headphones" property is "24 bit, 48000 Hz (Studio quality). I would like to adjust the treble/bass as before - I want that my speakers BOSE back!

  Since I do not know what IDT audio driver that you have installed and there is no W10 driver on your PC support page, the only suggestion I can offer would be to try this driver if this isn't the one you used.  Install and reboot the PC.

• No equilizer inside Windows Media Player 12?

  I think in media player 10 and 11 may, it came with an equilizer where I could adjust the levels of all the different music Hz (bass, treble, Mid, etc. and presets like rock, spoken, classic, dance, etc..).  He did my awesome music.  I can't find it in windows media player 12.  He's gone?  Maybe someone could explain it to me better.

  While playing music, in the "now playing view" (push the 3 places and arrow, at the bottom right of the window 'library'), right click the mouse in the middle of the window, in the menu will be the submenu improvements, that contains the equalizer option.

  I think it's something to do with audio boost/bass & treble during a call. You can click the menu during a telephone conversation and select the audio settings to adjust a setting that suits you

• Pavilion DV8T 1200 CTO - wf681av product for the wireless button

  The Wireless 'button' above the keyboard has been randomly by inadvertence/turn the wifi market card.  If he had repaired in September.  It's done now again.  This seems to be a design problem.  Tech will replace the keyboard in a few days.  If it fails once again, is it possible to disable this key, or even the whole of the "smart media" button set?

  I would like to comment on what headphones to use with my ipad2. Do I need a particular size? And it better with the help of the plug or go with bluetooth?

  Personally, as a musician and a person who appreciates a quality sound, I will return with a headset or headphones that plug in an iPhone or an iPad.

  The sound quality is more real, more accurate.

  Most average price speakers Bluetooth headset/headphones and wireless lose quality in the bass and treble of the higher regions.

  Only the more expensive ($250.00 and upward) Bluetooth headphones/headset wireless and more expensive Bluetooth speaker systems will be the technology that compensates for the loss of bass/treble on a Bluetooth signal.

  Lower prices Bluetooth speakers, headphones / earbuds simply don't have all this bulit technology in them so that they can sell at much lower prices.

  If the budget is concerned, wired headset comes in many points of setting prices, but even some headphones/wired earphone at a lower cost price will be superior in sound quality at cheaper, wireless Bluetooth offers currently on the market.

  My vote is for headphones/wired headset.

• Satellite A300 - its different in PSAJ4E and PSAG8E

  I have two Toshiba Satellite A300. An A300 - 15K (PSAJ4E) and a driver Conexant instaled. Second is A300-20th (PSAG8E) and the driver of Realtek Semiconductor Corporation.

  The sound coming from harman/kardon in the first is beautiful and the second worse. I tried to install Conexant drive in the second Toshiba, but it does not work. I tried to sound installation, but without positive result. My system in the two Toshibas is Vista 32 bit. Are there opportunities to improve the quality of the sound in the second Toshiba?

  I think that you have answered the question yourself. Your laptops of different sound cards and I think this is the reason why the sound is a little different. I think only that the same as with the graphics cards: some cards are faster, and other cards are not so fast. ;)

  What you can do is to install the latest sound driver and check the sound settings. You can play around with the bass, treble, and different equalizer settings.
  Check this box!

• General questions about the iphone compatible hearing aids, please?

  I am a seller of oil field that moves and I need my first hearing aids.  I have loss of hearing with a classic old guy and it's average but I'm late for h / a. I'm missing an important part of my life and want to hear the birds sing again!  I currently use a 5 s with 9.2 and a bluetooth Plantronics traveler legend.  I have hands free for safe driving and especially for taking notes of value and wear it all day.  I don't listen to music or videos, no vehicle bluetooth and any other iOS device.  The goal is good h/a and the use of good phone.

  I am interested in the Halo of Starkey and research scared me a bit of the questions that I barely understand!  Googling found a lot of comments, but they seem to all written by agents of sale or competitors.

  Where is the microphone bluetooth on the Halos?

  Is the call phone stereo or mono?

  The function of the hearing aid remains so that on the phone?

  In light of my basic needs, all warnings other than the stupid of these things cost?

  I am also considering a 6s, this would be a better phone for the Halo team?

  --> Which has not changed for me. It is the nature of sound amplification without being able to directly select that sounds to amplify and to mute.

  --> I like the ability to define a 'from' sensitive geographically, where you can control the volume up down and the bass/treble back. It is a crude tool, but it works.

Otherwise, updated sound controls would not be there unless they are there in case the Beats Audio is uninstalled or disabled? I see no way to uninstall it or disable and didn't want to uninstall. IDT Audio is listed in programs and features.

  I did some additional research and you are right that it is because of the Beats Audio, taking control of the sound. Any changes to the sound to do through Beats Audio Control Panel.  I'll pass your frustration with this problem along.

• Help! I messed up the audio equalizer on my computer and I don't know how to fix it!

  I watched the sound options on my computer (Windows XP) and I did something to the equalizer that messed up the sound. I have Realtek HD Audio Manager, if that helps. The screen where I did something shows the equalizer and allows that you choose things like 'pop', 'rock', 'living', etc. I have no idea what I did but I can not get the sound back to normal. I tried a bunch of different choices (pop, rock, bass, treble, etc.), but none of them felt right. I also tried a button that says "Reset the EQ setting" but what has all the right settings equalizer in the middle and has no sound right either.

  I thought there will be a way to get back to some kind of windows by default, but I don't see that anywhere. Can someone help me?

  Default settings which is neutral, is normal.

  To get the sound you want, it uses your realtek Manager thingy.
