Pavilion HPE h9 - 1150t Phoneni: upgrade Windows 10 - beats his problem (same question new submitter)

I waited until the last minute (literally) from Win7 to Win10. While waiting I kept with all the blogs of Win10 HP. My HP all-in-1 printer works fine thanks to the blog to support, but I still have trouble getting my BOSE speakers to sound as they did with Beats on Win 7.

I downloaded and installed the driver IDT HiDef Audio CODEC compatible, but the sound quality is still poor. The sound "Speakers/headphones" property is "24 bit, 48000 Hz (Studio quality). I would like to adjust the treble/bass as before - I want that my speakers BOSE back!

Thank you!!

Hello:

Since I do not know what IDT audio driver that you have installed and there is no W10 driver on your PC support page, the only suggestion I can offer would be to try this driver if this isn't the one you used.  Install and reboot the PC.

This package provides the Tempo IDT High Definition Audio Driver for assumption of office models that are running a supported operating system.

  • HP Pavilion p6210y: Office flashing after upgrade Windows 10

I have a flashing desktop (goes black and office) after upgrade to Windows 10.  Once connected, it is fine for about 10-15 seconds, then it starts flashing. I couldn't do anything - click on anything except CTRL-ALT-DEL to go to the Task Manager.

I did the upgrade 2 x already. Before my first attempt, I do nothing with my PC - I did not update the driver. When I arrived the office flashing after improvement, I panicked and immediately brought back to Windows 7. I was able to get to the window of recovery during the period of 10-15 seconds just after the connection. Fortunately, he returned to Windows 7.

After the first test, I read a little about the similar problem and so I tried some of the proposed solutions - update the drivers on my PC, to disable reporting services Windows (all on 10 to win), to try to go to Safe Mode.

So I tried again. I updated all the things I can to update (for most drivers) before the upgrade. Do you have PC Clean up. I had the office flashes again. It's the same thing. So while they are flashing, I tried to disable the windows reporting services that is very difficult to do with the Office of flashing. He did nothing clearly. So I went in Mode without failure. After starting in safe mode, I got the normal screen for about 5 seconds, but a blue window quickly flashed and then the desktop on Mode without failure just turned black, only the visible cursor.

So, I rolled back to Windows 7 new.

I don't have a lot of things/programs on my PC that I uninstall programs right away if I know that I will not use. I do scan of cleaning/Virus from PC on a regular basis.

    Information about my machine:

    HP Pavilion p6210y

    Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit

    Video card: NVIDIA GEForce 9100

All the suggestions/help will be very appreciated.

The only thing that solved the issue is reset my machine while keeping my personal files.

I've never understood what really caused it.

Thus, after the upgrade when the screen is flashing, I have reset the PC.

    Hi there @lmao1,

Thank you for joining the Forums HP's Support and welcome! It is a great place to ask questions, find solutions and get help from others in the community! I read your post on the Forums of HP Support. I wanted to join you and help! I understand that once you tried to upgrade to Windows 10, now stuck on the HP Logo at startup.

If the computer hangs at the HP logo screen, try to clean the vents from the computer to the air and then restarting the laptop.

Please note , remove all USB devices. Disconnect all devices of non-essential, as these can cause some problems.

Have you tried a hard reset?

Have you tried to Test for hardware failures?

  • Pavilion HPE h8 - 1360t: update to Windows 7 will not

I made the fatal mistake of upgrade with a new installation of Windows 7 HJome Premium to Windows 7 Professional. After a lot of hunting to find the various missing drivers of WIndows, I was able to install a fuly operational Windows 7 Pro, but now I find that it will not update. I spent hours to examine and try the many "patches" (often contradictory) found on the Internet, but none of them did actually resolve the problem. The failure of Windows 7 update seems to be a very common problem, so I'm puzzled as to why there is no simple cure proven. It seems that I need to return to the Home Premium, but I thought I would try the forum before travelling.

    Hello

    That's the problem.

Please read this article, in its entirety, by Ed Bott.

The use of the Win 7 cumulative hotfix eliminates the problem.

  • HP Pavilion HPE h8-1111: Wireless upgrade - hardware Options network adapter?

Hi, I am looking to change my Broadcom 802.11n WLAN adapt because of allegedly defective hardware.

I was thinking to buy the same as that but given that its in a port "minicards", I was wondering if something "more great, better and faster" could be used to allow a more efficient connection to my WIFI.

I don't know what might replace it, so my way of thinking of installing a new one of the same. It's cheap, it's easy, but if someone has any advice as to what could be better, I can use any kind of edge.

I suggest that you are looking for an USB 802.11ac wireless adapter.  It is dual band (2.4 & & 5G).  I do not use one at this stage, but they have used in the past with great success.  It's certainly easier to install.  You can check with the manufacturer to ensure that your router is compatible with it.  Whatever way you decide to go, I suggest you to AC.  It is much faster and the future.

  • ProBook 4430: Windows 7 upgrade-> Windows 10 (HP ProtectTool problem)

    Hey everybody,

I ran into a problem while improving my PC to 10 Windows and he said I need to uninstall HP protect tool which is also connected to 6 other products and I need to remove/uninstall all of them.

What do I do and is it safe to uninstall?

I can it download it again once I've upgraded to Windows 10 because I liked the face recognition software.

    Hello

Thanks for posting in the HP Support forum. Welcome aboard!

Yes, you must decrypt your hard drive and you must uninstall the security software as HP tools protect.

In fact, Protect tools is old version. The most recent version of the same software is called HP Client Manager Security.

HP Client Manager (Protect tools) Security is just 'control center' of other applications.

You must uninstall all, finally protect tools, restart the computer.

Then, start the computer and connecting to Windows.

Do not attempt to remove the software, unless you are sure that you can bypass the login screen and boot on the Windows desktop.

You must open your security HP Client Manager / protect tools.

Authenticate with the Windows password or another option.

    - First, if it is available in your version and if you - go to drive encryption and make sure that you DISABLE disk encryption hard while the disc gets decerypted. This can take a long time (hours or more to complete).

    Reboot / restart the computer

    - Second, if available in your version and if the case on your part, go into identifying information - fingerprints of the article and delete data

You can see how I created by these screenshots (these are for the most recent version, not to protect tools) > https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=73EA0FA259008E8! 107 & authkey =! AEyZq_GEDdnNQnE & ithint = file %2 c

When you're ready, you can try to uninstall all and restart the computer eventually.

Finally, you can upgrade to Windows 10. Here are a few tips and tricks > http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04730900

I'm afraid tools protect HP and HP customer security Manager are not compatible with Windows 10, not officially.

    In view of the information >here<, officially="" supported="" are="" win="" 7="" and="" win="">

Windows Hello is free available in Windows 10 facial recognition function > http://www.windowscentral.com/how-set-windows-hello-facial-recognition-windows-10

Drive encryption (Bitlocker) may be also available according to the edition of your Windows.

I would like to know if it works for you. Please, give your feedback.

So, im wondering could it be my graphics card? its only 4 years. Looking at my list of command on this computer, it is said... 3 GB amd radeon HD7950 (double support, 2 x minidp, hdmi, dvi)

Also as I am typing the letters bleeding black and red. Where is the problem? How can I check to be sure that this is the problem? hate to keep away from safe. Anyone has any idea what it could be? Thanks for listening.

    Hi there @charles49,

I hope you find your experience of positive Support Forum! It's a good place to find the help you need, other users, the HP experts and other members of the support staff. I understand that your display is not coming properly, but you can start in safe mode. I'm happy to help you with this.

Because the system operates in Mode safe mode, it allows to narrow the problem, although it's going to be associated with the graphics card or its driver.

Something you might try is to remove the existing display using Device Manager driver of in Safe Mode and load a generic display driver.  Then, try to pitch it up normally and see if the computer is in place. Remember that you set the screen resolution to something a little more useful to you before moving on to a normal start to the top.

If it starts normally then you can try the preferred display driver update with a new installation.  You can try the HP Support Assistant for the driver if you have not already very practice. Computers HP - using HP Support Assistant (Windows 10, 8, 7)

If the pilot goes and the system works properly, then you should be good. If this isn't the case, then the card probably has something wrong with his ability to use his "higher functions".

Please let me know if it works for you and if it does not solve your problem, please mark this message as a solution. Bravo would be appreciated as well.
