Recently installed everything, but have run windows update etc. Since then.

Presentation settings does not appear in the Windows Mobility Center, and I can not find presentationsettings.exe anywhere on the computer.

Have tried downloading VAP but no difference. Toshiba Assist has nothing to help me, I think.

I tried looking for drivers and utilities for the L300 and sees nothing to help me - no presentation or power related only downloads.

How can I get the presentation settings? The main problem I have is not to want the screen empties when you watch a DVD or streaming video. Even if you put windows power settings to never turn off the screen, it will still blank after a period of time without the intervention of the physical user, despite the video game.

AFAIK this option is always available when the laptop is preinstalled with Toshiba (factory State) recovery image.
You install own OS or what?

I have two Toshiba laptops, and both of them have this option in the Windows Mobility Center.

  • Wireless does not connect. Possible culprit Windows Mobility Center.

I lost the signal on my laptop after I opened and had no connection available. Reader is up-to-date and that windows is unable to detect a problem. It runs at max power. So, I check the Windows Mobility Center. That is to say wireless is disabled. So it is not available for me to click on the button to turn it on. Why not? Select the card off and reactive then about five minutes later without success. any suggestions?

    Much appreciated,

    Tmapes

On most laptops, wireless radio is a separate switch or a combination of "Fn" keys to enable or disable.  Consult the user manual of your laptop to see which control the wireless radio and make sure his tours on.

  • Windows Mobility Center icons have disappeared.

I got my laptop on Christmas day, the Dell Inspiron 15R IS, and to activate the Bluetooth and other options I could press a button with gear wheels above the keyboard that shows the windows Mobility Center. This allowed me to activate and deactivate Bluetooth easily and it worked for about 4 days. However after half of options (which were on the bottom of the window) have now disappeared, so the toggle Bluetooth has disappeared, as well as other Dell options such as the rocker "Express support". I don't know if I changed some settings or how do I return these rockers?

    Henry.

    Henry,

Go to the drivers & downloads , enter your service tag, and then select your operating system. Under applications, download and install Dell QuickSet and see if applications reappear.

  • Cannot adjust brightness on Windows 10 Satellite L50-B-1LN

I have recently reinstalled Windows 10 and lost all the software supplied with the laptop Toshiba.

I reinstalled the graphics drivers AMD, the function key, the Toshiba Value added Package Toshiba desktop application (it only gave me the crib of the battery and the PC diagnostic tool), so I then manually found and installed the Toshiba system parameters and the utility HWsetup from Toshiba.

Straight after the 10th reinstalled Windows, keys Fn (volume, mode of flight etc.) worked when I pressed the Fn key, which was not what I wanted.

After you install the key Desktop App function each of the Fn keys worked without pressing the Fn key, in addition to the light high and low brightness, who did not work at all with or without the Fn key.

Not only they do not work with the keyboard, I can also adjust the brightness in any other way.

There is no brightness setting in power of control panel settings, and when I click on the battery icon in the taskbar (Windows 10), the brightness option is gray!

I don't know if the parameters of brightness already worked after reinstalled Windows 10, and if they did, I don't know at what time they stopped working.

I thought it might be when I installed the AMD driver, but I tried to uninstall it and it did not help. No more than put it back in place.

Why is that happening and how can I solve this problem?

    Hi Craig,.

Go to programs and features, uninstall the "Toshiba System Driver" package, and then reinstall the system found new Toshiba heredriver Package, this should solve the problem.

    Hope this helps,
