  We have exactly 2 Administrator accounts on the computer of my family [Windows XP]. One is one of the user accounts, the other is a global administrator account. Both passwords. Both have been forgotten.

  Is it possible that I can recover or remove these passwords given my situation?

  Did you feel the need to repeat pretty much the same as posted Malkeleah or answer because your name was mentioned.  I know well what MVP and MS Partners are.  I was just using your past objections for example and you have been forgotten.  Children and parents contorls was also an example of what someone might do.  My main objection was with display of information such as that on the forum could be seen by all and used in different ways (including access to stolen computers).  But Malkeleah gave a great counterpoint to my statements.  I consider Malkeleah and my messages to be civilized exchange of opinions.

  PS Please don't be not a hypocrite by saying in the spirit of these forums.  When I remember lose you out on a poster of so-called "lie" about you and you can blame Zack - support Engineer (who defended you) until the others (including the person who lied) had to defend from you.

  If this is related to the UEFI/BIOS password - you will need to try to get into the BIOS and try 3 times with wrong password. Finally, you will get something like the system off the code. Enter this code.

  Open this site > www.bios-pw.org and enter the code off. You will receive a response for HP code which can be used to access the BIOS and reset the security settings.

  If you already have this code disabled, just visit www.bios-pw.org
