Adobe Acrobat Pro XI - environment in offline mode

I'm trying to stop Adobe Acrobat Pro XI to invite the user to turn on a computer that is not on the network. I packed the application that deploys the computers/laptops on our network successfully. I did the same thing successfully for all our creative Cloud applications. This computer was originally on the network, but now has been designated in an offline environment. However, the 30-day license check must be disabled.

I went through the process of 'Offline Activation' twice and the two attempts, I was able to generate a response from Acrobat Pro however, Code when I return to the client PC with Adobe Acrobat Professional XI, I get an "Invalid" response code error

https://helpx.Adobe.com/Acrobat/KB/Acrobat-offline-activation.html

If someone could give some tips/advice, I would greatly appreciate that.  Thank you.

Armelle,

You must use the creative cloud package which you can download on your site Licensing.

With the creative cloud conditioner, you can create a license file for Acrobat with the serial numbers of Web site licenses.

  • Adobe Reader Pro's work in an environment in offline mode?

    Hello

I searched this forum for my response, but I have not found an exact answer to my question:

Adobe Reader Pro. can operate in an environment in offline mode? I do not mean its installation file which must be downloaded. My question is if this software will work without any connection to the Internet? This issue comes up after trying to work in Adobe Reader Pro in a computer without an Internet connection, and it did not work. I mean the full purchased version, of course.

    Thank you very much

    Ohad

To find or buy you the exact name of the product, there are no Adobe Reader Pro. Adobe Reader is free, Acrobat Reader is free; Acrobat Pro is the paid for the product. The current version is ms, MS Pro Acrobat. According to me, that he needs to activate Internet and from time to time to check the license, at least for the commercial version.

  • Can I choose a high quality display mode in Adobe Acrobat Pro?

When I open a PDF in Adobe Acrobat Pro graphics are displayed in a low quality (pixelated) which is really annoying. When I opened the same pdf in Adobe Acrobat Reader, they are displayed in high quality.

I really want to choose a display mode of high-quality Adobe Acrobat Pro as well. Is this possible? Please help :-)

I moved your question to one of the Acrobat forums, where it is more appropriate.

Go to Edit - Preferences - Page display in both applications and compare the settings. If it works well in the drive then set Acrobat to be the same as those of the reader.

Thanks Anubha Goel, final I got it to work... The serial number in the physical box that you buy in the store wasn't the number for the software.  It was the serial number in the cloud, very difficult to know when you see a serial number in the box with the Cd online.  But thanks for the reply to my post. I'll be in offline mode after clicking on answer...  Thank YOU Ana Maria

To summarize for those who are still confused (I got it to work), deploy the Setup.exe (no order required for installation in silent mode) in SCCM.

The Adobe Customization Wizard allows you to make changes, licenses and other. I used the ACW to inject acrobat.dll value into the value by default "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\11.0\Language\current\" and then saved as "Custom.mst" changes with the transformation to generate in the ACW.

Thanks to everyone who helped, and Adobe employees to help us in this matter.

Edit: Some users get a warning for a restart after Setup.exe has completed 30 seconds. This is even when the restart is defined on delete in the file STD ACW. To work around this problem, you can call a file cmd like this Setup:

    off @echo

    Setup.exe

    IF ERRORLEVEL 3010 exit 0

All other error codes will be accual mistakes, so we want those rejected.

  • License with Adobe Acrobat Pro problem

I have a problem with Adobe Acrobat Pro as part of Adobe Creative Suite CS 6 on Mac OS X 10.11.6: Adobe Acrobat does not start. Whenever I try to open a pdf file or the itsself program (Acrobat), Acrobat appears inside the docking station, as well as within the monitor activity for a few seconds, but never actually opens and then disappears from the docking station and the activity monitor. No error message appears, namely, what is the problem.

During the last two weeks, I tried the suggestions basically all troubleshooting I found on the web several times, mainly:

    • Try to uninstall and reinstall Adobe Acrobat by itsself as well as all of the Creative Suite (of course, using "Adobe Installers")
    • Running the Creative-cloud-Cleaner on my computer after uninstallation and before the re-setup
    • Deactivate and reactivate my license Creative Suite (using InDesign to perform this task, given that Acrobat does not open)
    • etc.

More funny thing is: when I try to deactivate the license via InDesign, Acrobat will not show even as one of the programmes concerned, see attached screenshot.

    PastedGraphic-1.png

That is why, in my view, the problem could be a licensing problem. The reason why I had the problem in the first place, could be the following: I accidentally uninstalled Adobe Acrobat while being offline. After that, as mentioned above, I tried- and reinstall the program and all of the following several times while being online - but no result.

I'm happy for any suggestion. Assistance telephone Adobe doesn't seem to be available for this product and I have redirected to this forum when you try to start a chat support with Adobe, I'm happy for all the help from the community!

PS: I guess that's not relevant, but I'll talk anway: another application, "Adobe Crash Demon" shows within the activity monitor, every time I open InDesign (but isn't, when I try to open Acrobat). The content of the error message does not mention Acrobat.

    Hi kglad,.

Thank you for your message. Unfortunately, I couldn't find very useful advice in the log files, because I'm not very experienced in the search for log files and I could not find solutions to the error messages on the web.

But, fortunately, an update of the system for Mac OS Sierra finally helped me to solve the problem. Obviously, the update changed some system parameters and / or preferences, and I finally could start once Adobe Acrobat. He is still vulnerable, however. It seems, I'm having some trouble with my graphics, too, but I guess I'll be able to fix those shortly.

I am very happy, Acrobat is finally running once more!

Thanks for your support, I'll mark the issue as resolved.

    Kind regards

  • Adobe Acrobat Pro DC - grey text properties bar

I saw this question several times when you are looking for a response, but none of the solutions have worked for me. I have been using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (15.4) for months to edit and comment on PDF documents that I printed and then saved as a PDF file to an online mapping system. Until today, I was able to use the shortcut CTRL + E to bring up the properties toolbar and change the properties for the text boxes, call outs etc., including the font properties. It is in mode 'Commentary'.

I am now only able to change the properties of a text box - if I select the text itself all the properties in the toolbar are greyed out.

    I tried:

    • Closing and reopening the program
    • With only a single document at a time
    • Ensure the document is not read only or PDF/A
    • Ending the process of "acrotray" (I think that's what it was called)
    • Opening of a previous document when I was able to change the font properties - can do it on any document, old or new, now
    • Checking the properties are not "locked."
    • Verification I have user rights on MS Edge (the mapping system used only works on here, not IE)
    • Updates of the program

A point that is no accident, that's when I started this work several months ago I set all of the default values that I need them and them have not changed at all, until last week. Doubtful that it is causing the problem but worth a mention anyway.

Help, please! I need to solve this problem as soon as POSSIBLE in order to do my job!

    Thank you!

  • Rotate multiple pdf/a using Adobe Acrobat Pro files

I have about 100 pdf files that I need to rotate to the left by 90 degrees.  I assume that many, if not all of them are stored in PDF/A format, aka PDF / Archive mode.  I have a workflow for rotate pdf/a files using my copy of Adobe Acrobat Pro version 9 however, the workflow I have is quite heavy.

    1. Open the pdf/a file in Adobe Pro 9
    2. Go to advanced->->-> pdf/a preflight remove pdf/a.
    3. Save the pdf file - so that is no longer in pdf/a mode.
    4. Reopen the pdf file.
    5. Now Adobe turn let us the document under him-> turn the Page.
    6. Save the PDF - technically this should be saved as a pdf/a again.

    Issues related to the:

    1. This workflow works to run a single pdf/a document.  However, it is rather bulky.  Is there a quicker way?
    2. I have seen some indications that it is possible to run several PDFs 90 degrees to the left at the same time.  However, it will work for pdf/a documents?  This feature is also available in Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 Version?

    Thank you

You can use a sequence of batch job to do this.

  • Adobe Acrobat Pro DC deployment

    Hello

We have a problem to deploy Adobe Acrobat Pro ms in or the environment. Our client are Windows 7 Enterprise x 64 AD and SCCM 2012-controlled.

When we are deployment or do a manual installation of the PDF printer is missing.

After some tests, I learned the following.

Microsoft has a feature that you can add the path of unity in the registry. We use this function for a bank pilot plant. If you have several path printer PDF installing device fail.

I am using the wizard. But my problem is now solved. Is a strange problem.

In our central drivestore contains a former driver for the printer its contains a ntprint.inf file. Adobe drivers trying to use the ntprint.inf file in the driver instead of the local to c:\windows\inf store.

When we removed the driver in our central store driver the installation of Adobe acrobat works.

  • Adobe Acrobat Pro 2015 supports Microsoft Word 2003?

I installed Adobe Acrobat Pro 8.1 to the 2015 edition.  Previously, I had the toolbar tabs in Excel and Word 2003 that allowed me to CLICK and save it as a .pdf.  This seems to have disappeared.  The last stop Pro supports Win2003?  If so, how?

    Hello

Acrobat CC is not compatible with MS Word 2003, please check the compatibility of the web browsers and applications of PDFMaker.

  • Features of Adobe Acrobat Pro for Mac issues?

Greetings! After 35 years in the Windows environment, I became the proud owner of a MacBook air last night and I want to install Adobe Acrobat Pro for Mac on it. I would like to know if the features and functionality of the Mac version are the same as those on the Adobe Acrobat Standard I used in my Windows environment for many years.

The Windows version gives me everything I need, especially the ability to add text as annotations of documents that have been scanned and sent in PDF format, fill out forms, create forms, etc..

Also, can someone help me with the differences between the version of the subscription and the total of the purchase? The subscription version has problems, it is just as functional as the full version to buy?

    Thank you all so much!

    S.

Pretty much, except for the lack of an Adobe PDF printer.  No LiveCycle Designer.

    Subscription is complete.

  • How to set the custom changes in sets of customized tools when installing deployed on Adobe Acrobat Pro XI?

I am trying to set settings in the custom tool sets, specifically properties Protection\Redaction - example: enabling change highlight color and text overlay.  Is it possible to change the settings for a deployment?  I am unable to find a way through the Customization Wizard and finds it difficult to find documentation on the deployment of the custom settings for the toolsets.

    Question:

Customization of the tool sets as part of the deployment of Adobe Acrobat Pro XI

    Environment:

For deployment, I use the Adobe Customization Wizard and SCCM 2012 to distribute and install Adobe Acrobat Pro XI.

Environment has Windows 7 and Windows 8.1

    Adobe Acrobat Pro XI

    Thank you

Those who would be the HKCU settings that you "should" be able to implement via the function Panel for the registry of the Adobe XI of the Customization Wizard.

    Look here:

    HKCU\Software\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\11.0\Annots\cAnnots\cRedact\coutlineColor

There are names with the prefix "d" alpha as in d1, d2 and d3 with assigned numerical values

    and

    HKCU\Software\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\11.0\Annots\cAnnots\cRedact\cannotFillColor

There are names with the prefix "d" alpha as in d1, d2 and d3 with assigned numerical values
