• Bridge CS2 does not open

  I rebuilt my win xp computer did a new install of the operating system. I then re - installed Photoshop CS2. For a week Photoshop and bridge worked well, then Friday, I tried to open the bridge, and nothing happened. Manager tasks shows the bridge in the process and using 35 520 K memory. He is not listed as a request and does not open.

  I removed Photoshop and re-installed Photoshop Photoshop opens twice but not bridge. After the UN-install I ran a cleaning tool registration but still found several references to Photoshop, I didn't want to remove them or change them.

  If I try to open the bridge with CTRL nothing happens also that it simply lists bridge as a process.

  Any ideas? Photoshop has run on this computer with this ram and everything since CS2 was released so that the computer should not be the problem. Everything else works.

  Check first see this bridge is not running in the background.  Open the Task Manager and click the processes tab.  Check for any instance on Bridge.exe and close it if found.

  I believe that to reset the bridge CR2 always use Ctrl + Alt + Shift.  Try this or check online to see if it is accurate.

  Can you try to update on the last CC 2015 bridge and check updated media for Raw files.

  You can continue to have Bridge CS6 by updating to the CC 2015 bridge. Be sure to uncheck the option "Uninstall Previous version" under Advanced option during the installation of bridge CC 2015.
