  I am an administrator of company Adobe Creative Cloud. I went through the steps to connect, enter our serial number, selecting the applications to the package and then downloading the package. The problem is that the download stops at 2%. I even left running overnight and it still is 2%. I tried again this morning, delete the cache and tried to create a new package, same result stops at 2%.  Have a clue on how to fix this?

  I am UNABLE to open a PDF file.  My operating system is Windows 7 and using Microsoft Office Small Business 2007.  During an attempt of the following on the screen:

  on the right side of the screen a drop-down list (impossible to navigate to the English).

I just need one more, but Adobe would force me to get a membership share whole for a total of 4 licenses and double the price. • Adobe person vs Business license for 1 person

  I received a call from Adobe today trying to convince me that I'm on the wrong license for my creative cloud subscription. As typical fashion, the person who called me was less than stellar in the English language, so communication was a bit of a challenge.

  That person who called claimed to be a license check and think I should use a license instead of an individual license. Personally, I feel like this is a cash grab and I wouldn't hard telling him that if Adobe would try to change my license I must find alternative software as the pricing of business just doesn't make sense for me.

  So, to keep things fair, I'll explain my current situation we hope to get an overview on whether I should be switching licenses or not as everything I read indicates that I do nothing wrong.

  I am a small business owner where the only staff is my wife and myself. My business is software consulting where I write software to different hospitals around the United States and the Canada. I am the only person who uses my CC license and I use it for the following purposes:

  • I create PDFs with Acrobat (usually, conversion of Word documents or signing of documents)
  • Sometimes, I use Photoshop to edit the screenshots of applications to send to a client. These are basic things like adding labels and arrows.
  • I use Dreamweaver from time to time to test different web programming techniques or working on my business website.
  • I use some of the Adobe video software to splice videos of my kids and add some special effects of pleasure.

  So my question and concerns are, if I should use the operating license to all work linked in Adobe products, what is the single license that clearly, it would be a very expensive toy?

  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. This call from Adobe today got angry enough over the past 12 years spent more $7 000 on these products and I like the tools I'm not prepared to be watered more like this.

• Re-engineering has a small business network

  Hello everyone, I am a consultant for a small business to restructure their network.  They have currently a network of 10-workstation simple with a single server 2U (a TYAN Transport TA26 with a pair of 2nd Gen AMD Opteron 2000 series Dual - Core Processor) running Windows Server 2003 R2 standard edition (the operating system required for their store management software) and all their other business applications.

  My main goals are:

  (A) separate and isolate critical Applications of Business apps that bring Web threats

  (B) to simplify the management and office supply

  (C) introduce the tolerance of failures and business continuity

  In addition, I need to be able to do this for absolutely as low cost as possible and leverage our existing as better material as I can. In other words; I need to apply methodologies of data center of business using sensitivities to small businesses. I understand that most VMware products do most of the time, but my experience is limited to VMware Workstation, Server, ACE and player. I already know I want VMware View 3 for office centralized management and can use VMware ThinApp to deploy stand-alone applications that everyone uses (such as MS Office, Firefox) with the exception of an application (the store management software) which unfortunately requires Terminal Server - so I want to convert the existing Windows Svr'03 R2se Terminal Server running the store management software , in a virtual machine, I hope that can also run on the same ESX or ESXi physical server that also hosts VMware View

  My Questions are the following:

  (Q1) What is the minimum number of physical servers required for a VMware View solution 3 10-20 more a virtualized 10 standard client Terminal Server Windows Server 2003 R2 "edition"?

  (Q2) What is the most strategic combination of VMware buys to assemble the most effective set of the features of VMware for virtualized data center Small Business?

  (Q3) Would have a sphere of VMware Essentials or more package may be an appropriate solution to what I try to do, or who would be just too much for a network of 10-20 users?

  I'd put a Terminal Server in this Envirenment so; but don't forget that you need a Windows Virtual Center and Connection Broker server as well and I wouldn't put them two on the Terminal Server.

  No, you don't have to buy additional licenses for ESXi as far as I can see, but I'm not sure : it depends on the view number licenses you buy which means the view licenses you buy company ESX licenses more 'free' you get. • TTS price for small business

  As a small business, I am not the only one in this situation and I'd like your opinion on this.

  My main job is Professor of computer SCIENCE, but I also have my business on the side that I use to develop interactive content with Adobe Captivate.  Most of my clients are interested in the TTS software part.  So far, everything is good and I like to develop with the software.

  The problem is, as a small business (especially me), if I need to include TTS for resale, I pay the same price as everyone else.  Most of the Web site I've visited so far is not to sell for cheap (1500-$5000) just to have a single TTS voice.  The cheapest I found is Inova ~ 700 + tx with an annual subscription.

  So I wonder what you guys would say to me to get a decent TTS (French) that I can integrate into captivate for resale? I do not have the budget of a large company to pay that much for a TTS voice.

  YOU that the Captivate Developer would certainly need to have a license of TTS voice to CREATE the tutorial in the first place. But customers who buy the tutorial you don't buy need each also TTS voice licenses.

  As far as I know, if you have purchased your license from Captivate, you have all the rights to create tutorials by using one of the TTS voices that come with this license.

  To set up a test server on your pc, see - http://www.adobe.com/devnet/dreamweaver/articles/setting_up_php.html, the procedure is her even you use any version of dreamweaver.

  SBS2003 is not officially supported, I think that 2008 alone is. You can try but might be a problem with some drivers.

  I try to install windows server enterprise on my hp proliant gen 8. I used smart supply and that everything was working fine, when switching to the windows installation it gets to 99% then comes up with the error:

• Windows Small Business Server 2011 Standard access to download

  I need to access a copy of the Small Business Server 2011 Standard edition since the MSDN site, in order to help one of my clients.

  They have SBS 2011 standard installed on their network and I'm going to make some big changes to their network. To do this I need to access the installation (file ISO DVD) on MSDN disc. They have the product key, but not the original disks that were used to install SBS 2011 Std.

• User logged on the server over the RDP session - Small Business Server 2011 x 64

  We have a Small Business Server 2011 standard x 64.  We have the configuration of the remote desktop on port forwarding in the firewall to allow a user to connect to this server using RDP remote desktop.  This isn't a server terminal server.  No, there are no available Remote Desktop Manager settings.

  When the user connects through the RDP application and connects to the server.  If the users session is idle for 15 minutes, the user is connected to the server (not disconnected the RDP session, just to connect to the server).  The user must log into the server every time that happens.  We tried adjusting the Remote Desktop Session Host settings and changed the Session time limits, but this isn't the parameter we are looking for.  We have looked extensively through the default domain group policy and see nothing active to this behavior.  We examined local group policies and studied the session time limits in the user and computer configuration > policies > models Admin > RDP >... session host and it is has anything configured here which could trigger this behavior.

  Yet once, it connects the disabled user, not closing the remote session.  We have also examined the user account for this user and looked for resume posting require logon settings (although with SBS, it is not even there to adjust the display settings).  I had partner Microsoft supports focus on this during one hour (he didn't use too much of my time to support) and they have been unable to resolve within an hour.
