  Recently, I switched from PC to Mac. On my PC, I got the Adobe Creative Suite Design & Web Premium (academic edition) CS6. I bought the product through my school and have two installation CD, for Windows and Mac.

  I try now to download this product on my new Macbook, but do not have a hard drive. When I check my saved items, it says that I have the Creative Suite CS6, but under the platform, he said "Winner" and serial number is for Windows product. Of course, this won't work for my Mac OS.

  Apetr6 summers - receive you specific error messages when you try to install the software?  I also recommend review your installation logs to find errors.  You can find information on how to locate and interpret your log files for installation troubleshooting installation problems with the log files. • Installation CD of Adobe Creative Suite 4 stalls at "installation preparation".

  A few months ago, it has been installed on my new laptop Windows 8.  However, for some reason, the person is my installation was missing Adobe Acrobat 9 and I'm looking to remedy that.  I put it in the CD and it goes through the first step... I think it's "system check" or similar.  Then, it displays all the programs that I can choose to install.  I check Adobe Acrobat 9 and then goes to "prepare for installation" and is never beyond.  I took a NAP hours waiting for her and nada.

  I was given one uninstalled Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design and Web Premium Edition of education by a guy who bought the right product.  He bought a PC version, but it has a Mac.  It was impossible to install it and unable to return because the package has been opened.  He however enter a little into the www.adobe.com/go/edu-validate system.  He apparently had far enough in this process to enter temporary product code and connect to their e-mail address.  When I enter the product code, he asked me the original address.  I don't have info touch the guy.  Is it possible to reset it so I can install the product?

  Chances are that it will be for this guy to manage any reset.  It will probably transfer the license you formally.
