Adobe CS5 DPS plug in question

I just downloaded the Digital Publishing Suite for Adobe Indesign CS5 and I have a few problems to work with the Overlay and Folio Builder creator tools.

The problem with the creator of the Overlay is the Pan and Zoom function. I managed to put a text frame with, in a setting (trying to create content drop down) but when I go to the Pan tool and Zoom, I have no option available. All I get is "select crop image frame is the display area in which the Image pans. I chose both the text and the image containing it (even selecting them separately) but there is still no future option of this feature.

Next is the Folio Builder. I tried to sign in with my Adobe ID, but I always get the error log.

Is this Plug in still support CS5 or I do something wrong?

CS5 is not supported for DPS. You¹ll have CS6 or creative cloud.

  • Adobe CS5 Master Collection requirements - a mistake?

    http://www.Adobe.com/products/creativesuite/MasterCollection

I am a student who bought Adobe CS5 Master Collection a few weeks back.

Before you buy the product, I looked at the system requirements at the link above.

I thought: "Cool!" It is not too intense, I have enough money to build a computer with these system requirements. »

I went and bought Adobe CS5 Master Collection, all exacerbated to the maximum and ready get a computer for her, excited to start learning program.

Looking at different options around the plug, in Adobe link above, I started to ask questions, and soon I was advised by many users that these specifications does for Adobe CS5 Master Collection.

Looking at my budget, by comparing it to the suggested builds in this Forum, I am depressed now, because the cheapest Budget build is way out of my budget range.

I feel disappointed, because I bought a program with confidence that Adobe has provided these system requirements SO THAT the program can work very well on these specifications.

    So my question:

WHY are the requirements of the system, the link above, 2 GB of RAM (4 or more recommended) and Intel Core 2 Duo or AMD Phenom II, if there are so many warnings on the other forums that these specifications be enough? (Budget build in this Forum suggests a quad core and 8 GB RAM)

This means that had bought a computer goes on the specifications provided in the link to Adobe above, say a Core 2 Duo and 4 GB of RAM, I can could NOT begin gently, learn and work with Adobe CS5 Master Collection?

Your message has put additional pressure on the fact that article. I'll write this shortly, but here's a preview (without explanatory notes):

Click on the image to enlarge.

Now, this raises the question of what is easy, intermediate and difficult? I look carefully, but for now use this:

    1. easy is DV and HDV

    2. intermediate is P2, XDCAM, and Cineform

    3. difficult is AVCHD, RED and DSLR

There are a number of formats that are not as clearly classified by category, but in general, the more compressed the material is, it becomes more difficult. What means uncompressed is easy? Not really, it's easy on the CPU, but it's hard on the disk I/o system and memory. There are too many variables in play just say X is easy and there is difficult.

For beginners, there is a 'Panorama' tab at the top of the hardware forum, leading to a number of articles that may be useful.

In addition, there is the Référence PPBM5 which can be very informative as well. Just take a look.

  • Installation of Adobe CS5 disassociates .indd CS4 files in InDesign

After you have installed Adobe CS5 on my Vista Business, the .indd files created with CS4 machine becomes dissociated from InDesign. (By double-clicking the file receives a message "which program should I use?".) I tried to redo the association by assigning InDesign as program by default for the .indd files, but Windows will not accept InDesign CS5 a program to select. Files can be openedfrom InDesign, so this isn't a call to 911, but it is really useful to be able to double-click on the files.

  • I currently own adobe cs5, why not qualify to upgrade to cc?

I currently own adobe cs5 design standard. I have recently switched from PC to MAC as well. Today, as I tried to log into my account from my old PC and my new MAC adobe. When I registered my account and the site checked to see if I qualified for an upgrade, he said "you are not eligible for this offer. "Please visit our plans page to browse our list of other offers." I'm new to all this, so maybe this is a stupid question. But he saw someone of what is happening and why I can't get the upgrade expected? Thank you!

why I can't get the discounted upgrade?

    Terms and conditions

"This offer is not available for education, OEM or volume license customers."

One of these applies to you?

  • Bought Adobe CS5.5 student, now a graduate - can I register my product?

HI - I do not know if this is the best forum for this question, but I hope that my post can be moved if necessary.

A few years ago, while I was a student, I bought Adobe CS5.5 design standard student edition. I have since graduated and soon to buy a new PC that I would like to transfer my CS5.5 to. I have registered serial number, but I wanted to make sure that the product has been registered prior to the transfer, in case something went wrong.

My problem is, now that I've graduated I no longer have access to my student email account, so I can not access my Adobe ID student either to check if I have registered the CS5.5. I know the details of the connection to my Adobe ID student, but I just tried to connect using that ID and asked to reset my password - I can't access the password reset e-mail because it was sent to my student email address that has been disabled.

The Adobe ID, I use now is that I've set up to use a CS5.5 trial before committing to buy the student - version it uses my personal e-mail address, so I can always access. But is it possible I can get access to my former student Adobe ID, so that I can replace the email address valid and make sure my CS5.5 is registered in my account?

Thanks in advance for your help.

2 buy Adobe CS5.5 Master Collection Update for Windows and ask for product swap? for mac version

1 will not work. Your second choice is much better.

  • CS5 Production Premium - install question

Yesterday I installed CS5 Production Premium.  When you are prompted for the location of where to install the files, I left it as default (C:/Program Files).

After installation (which went well), I saw that the programs have been installed as follows:

    C:/Program Files/Adobe:

    -Adobe After Effects CS5

    -Adobe Media Encoder CS5

    -Adobe Photoshop CS5 (64 bit)

    -Adobe Premiere Pro CS5

    -Common

    -support

    C:/Program Files (x 86) /Adobe:

    -Adobe Bridge CS5

    -Adobe Device Central CS5

    -Adobe CS5 yet

    -CS5 adobe Extension Manager

    -Adobe Flash Catalyst CS5

    -Adobe Flash CS5

    -Adob Photoshop CS5

    -Adobe OnLocation CS5

    -Adobe Photoshop CS5

    -Adobe Premiere Pro CS4

    -Adobe Soundbooth CS5

    -Utilities, adobe - CS5

Question: Why the programs are installed in different folders (Program Files Program Files (x 86) vs?

    Thank you very much

    Angela

You have installed the operating system must be 64-bit:

So applications Adobe which are 64-bit based gets installed in the 64-bit location is C:/Program Files/Adobe:

    32-bit Adobe Apps gets into 32-bit (x 86) i.e C:/Program Files/Adobe location:

Photoshop is that is supports 32 and 64 bit architecture, so its gets installed to the location of two.

    Can run Photoshop from anywhere.

  • Adobe Flash Player plug-in crashes

Since I've upgraded to Windows 10, my Firefox browser crashes with the message Adobe Flash Player Plug In

I use a Dell technical support. Finally, we solved this problem in

  • Adobe Cs5 has stopped working (Vista 64-Bit)

I don't know if it's a problem but whenever I close my first Adobe Pro Cs5 I get this

    Adobe cs5 first stopped working

Files helping to describe the problem:
    C:\Users\AppData\Local\Temp\WER39D4.tmp.version.txt
    C:\Users\AppData\Local\Temp\WER4D65.tmp.AppCompat.txt
    C:\Users\AppData\Local\Temp\WER7F2F.tmp.mdmp

The good news is that it happened not while I'm working on something, it happens everytime I close the program.
I would simply ignore? I'm running on Windows Vista 64-bit

  • Adobe CS5 compatible problem with Win7?

I have recently updated from xp to 7home 32-bit to 64-bit in order to Adobe cs5. It seems to be compatibility problems. Most of the programs will not start... Adobe has remote troubleshooted my computer for several hours now. He can understand the problem. We installed the Master Collection more then twice... even with a different set of disks.

    Hi nolantornquist,

    1. What is the exact error message you get?
    2. what edition and version of Adobe CS5 do you use?
    3. what other programs do not work?

If Adobe cs5 program is not compatible with windows7, you can install the program in compatibility mode.

  • Adobe CS5 lost Macbook want to transfer the license to PC

I bought Adobe CS5 a few years ago, and he has granted licenses on a Mac. I lost this Mac and got another, transferring the license. Then I lost this Mac. Now, I have a PC and want to be able to use (mostly) InDesign, like all my stuff edition is in this format. If I had a Mac, I could install the software, but the license keys are only for Mac. Is it possible (except the ridiculous "buy all over again") for me to do this?

As far as I know, is no longer a price CS6 Upgrade with our office of CS5.5 to CS6 upgrade

Also, someone with Win10 must subscribe to the cloud because CS6 is not compatible (meaning that the seller will ask you your operating system and not sell you CS6 if she does not work on your computer... I don't know if this means that Win7 and you can't buy if you have Win8)
