Have you tried right clicking on the shortcut to the program or the .exe and select "Run As Administrator"?  Perform, even if your user name is an administrator.

Try right click on the actual Setup.exe and choosing the option "Run As Administrator"?  Perform, even if your user name is an administrator.

Windows XP Mode (Windows 7 only, but not one of the Home versions) "you are not eligible to download Windows XP Mode. You must have Windows 7 Professional, enterprise or full to run Windows XP Mode."    If you have an old XP CD (or other older Windows CD) available you can simply download the Virtual Machine and spend the XP Mode download.

This warranty covers the gambit set of VMS in the 'Home' versions if you want to have a look.  Of course you will need a licensed copy of XP to install and run in any of them (except XP Mode).

He has indeed incorporated, but this isn't the latest version and from what I can see there is no way to upgrade. My Flash player crashes several times a day, and although sometimes I only need to restart my browser, it usually forces me to restart my computer. Frustrating to say the least.

  • What programs Adobe and versions are compatible with Windows 7?

Buy a new computer with Windows 7, but I don't want to spend a fortune on new versions of other programs I run on an existing XP machine.  Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0 and Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Standard are compatible with Windows 7?  If not, what type of upgrade do need me?  Can I run these programs if I'm running the free download "Virtual PC and XP Mode"?

    Hi Mbgillis,

Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0 and Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Standard are not compatible with Windows 7.

Click the link for the Windows 7 Compatibility Center: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-7/en-us/Search.aspx?type=Software&s=Adobe%20Photoshop%20Elements%202.0

You can upgrade to Adobe Acrobat Standard 9.0 from the link below:

    http://www.Adobe.com/products/acrobatstd/

You can install the programs mentioned above in Windows XP compatibility mode if you wish.

To change compatibility settings manually for a program, right-click the program icon, click Properties, and then click the Compatibility tab.

Make sure to run older programs in this version of Windows: http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/make-older-programs-run-in-this-version-of-Windows

You can also install Virtual PC and XP mode and use the programs.

does anyone know if adobe are folio 11 is compatible with windows 10. the data sheet does not specifically indicate windows 10

Yes. Do Folio doesn't have any installer.

About Font Folio OpenType fonts are easily compatible with Windows 10 - right-click on any one of them only and select 'Install' from the context menu that appears.

It is not mentioned in the technical data sheet because it was written before the release of Windows 10 and the product has not been updated in the interim.

  • Adobe 7.0 is compatible with Windows Vista?

Upgrade 7.0 Adobe has recently been installed on my computer.  I have Windows Vista and there seems to be a compatibility issue with this version of Adobe and I cannot print PDF files.  How can I fix?  Can I go back to the previous version of Adobe?

You must remove it and download the latest version of Adobe reader (9.x) or an alternative reader like Foxit.  Older versions have significant security weaknesses.

I have CS3 running on Windows 10 without problem, so there should be no problem in Windows 7.

Maybe, but then again maybe not. You won't know until you try. Works without a hitch for some people, nothing but trouble for others. Relies too much on the specifics of the system and the configuration of Windows used...

  • Adobe CS premium (educational) compatible with windows 7 OS?

I have a copy of the CS premium and successful to install parts of it on a windows 7 previous machine. The machine is kaput and I have another windows 7 OS. The main reason for the purchase of this software was to use the Photoshop program. Unfortunately this never installed correctly on the previous computer and I could not uninstall. I cannot find a solution, not more that I wrote the person help. Thanks if you can help, because I would really like to be able to use Photoshop.

Don't think. In general, anything prior to CS4 is not tested and certified on Win 7 and while some people have got CS3 and CS2 versions to work and event pre - CS PS 7, I've never heard the original CS operating. And even if through divine intervention or whatever, you'll have to install, it will no doubt expose problems somewhere along the way. It would be really easy to just buy a new version - if you have PS, which seems acceptable and you'll have a peace at least for the next five years. For all other creative cloud is always an alternative...

Maybe, maybe not. The details will depend on sheet exaxct of the machine, this auxilairy material is involved and 1 million tiny things. CS4 was never tested or certified on 8 to win. You won't know if it works until you try.

    Garyw salvation,

CS4 was never designed for or tested on 10 to win, but it can work, if only perhaps by using compatibility modes.
