• Adobe Muse and edge animate - how to consolidate the files on the ftp/server?

  Hi all

  I'm working on a site, and I've recently added edge animations animate.  They look great, but the only problem I encounter is that the site load faster I want that there.  I did a few speed test and I think that what is originally the loading time is that I have about 5 edge animations animate different and they each have their own folder separately with their own javascript into a folder called "assets".

  Is there a way to consolidate the "assets" folder, so that my site loads more fast?

  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  You're in luck!  Add us in a feature in the latest version of edge animate CC (3.0) to activate the CDN for OAM option publish (what we call the "animate Deployment Package").  This means that your animated compositions can now reference jQuery and the runtime Animate the network rather than from the project directory.  (Please note that this will only feel for the integration of Dreamweaver and Muse with OAM and will not make sense for InDesign.)

  

  To enable this, launch Animate and go to file > publishing settings.  Select the Deployment Package animate on the left and click on 'executable files on Adobe CDN to host.  Save and publish, and you should be good to go.

  I want to "jump" to a specific slide in adobe captivate using interactions created in a file hosted from edge. Is someone able to help me with the javascript code needed to do this?

  So I don't know what was going on in April which did not possible but now 9 Captivate at least you can below to communicate a slide jump in Cape Town from the edge.

  I have an Edge file with a unique symbol to this topic called edgeButton which is just a simple rectangle with text on the subject. On the click to edgeButton event, I added the following script:

  On the side of the course of things, I set up a simple empty project with two slides on it and have disabled the PlayBar. On the first slide, I imported the OAM Edge file from above and on the second slide are just a simple text caption so that you know you have arrived at this slide after clicking on the "Click me" button in the animation of embedded edge. Here is a visual aid for the CAP put in place:

  First, we add a Pause action so that the project does not automatically. Then we add a Javascript action to perform on the window 'active'. The script in the window Javascript crap is:

  What we have done here is connect Edge (that Cap incorporates in an iframe) with Cap using the postMessage function that allows document windows communicate with each other. Since the Edge object is inside the DOM of the CAP, the script of edge must publish its message to its parent window, which is the Cap document window. Add the listener for the event message to Cap on its current context of window and after receiving the message that we call the function slideJump and suss out the string that was sent to the wire using event.data, which in this case will be "2."

  just for sanity check our channel, then pass the string to the common JS Cape API interface

  If you're curious, here's a Stack Overflow write to postMessage . Communication between edge and Cap can work in two ways via postMessage, btw. Here is an example where we do something similar, except that we control an animation of edge of assets to Captivate with postMessage.

  Hi, I'm trying to decide between Flash professional and leading edge. I am a developer web and I try to have a single platform to develop. I know that flash can make mobile apps and web apps, but I don't know if web applications can be adapted. In the other hand is Edge animate it is a nice tool, but I don't know if I can create mobile applications with it.

  Another important information is that I'm developing with c# and MVC framework as a server technology, the decision should be based on the best integration with the latter.

  Can you guys help me with this decision or recommend me another what do you think will be better than this two mentioned before.

  Flash pro is more difficult to learn, but has much more capacity than edge animate.

  in general, flash pro is to motivate developers and edge is more suited to designers.

• Use top/left rather than webkit processing in Adobe Edge animate

  I had a nice simple interaction using Adobe Edge animate with ui jquery draggable and able to receive. You drag a region boxes in other places. Everything worked well.

  Then, I decided to add an entry for the boxes animation. That ruined because jquery draggable anime top: left: the values of your object, but somehow adding animation on board put on: left and: 0 and use webkit transformX / Y.

  So now, as soon as I start to slip, box jumps way down because movable anime top: left:, and Edge lead prevents the transformation

  Is there a way to force EA to use top: left: for animation? Note, part of the entrance of the area includes a rotation, so maybe that is why he decided to use the transformation so he could do the X / Y and turn all in one.

  I'm sorry that the blog was not helpful in this situation.  The problem is that AE, you can animate 'Top' and 'Left', but you have no control over whether that becomes a transformX/y or a change to the top of the css: left:.   AE made up his own mind.  It seems that once you something else that simply move the element (for example, rotate or scale) she decides to stop using top/left and combine it all in a single transformation including x y and rot.   AE does not let you select animate css top: left: property and also add a css to decay transformation.

  However, I found a working hack for the moment.  at the start of the operation the slide, I add a class

  and if the transformation is cleared and the brake works perfectly.  The strange thing is that after I drop it, I DO NOT delete the class.  It remains for the rest of the time.  Now that I think about it, it makes sense, since the transformation is zero and the upper part: left and have been modified permanently by draggable jquery-ui.

  If I ever wanted to do any other animation after that, I guess it would get very weird.

  Anyway, ability to force the x and y of the transformations to use top: left: instead of processing would be a key element for a future release (close).

  We use Adobe Edge for quite awhile to develop HTML5 animations on mobile devices, and now it seems that Adobe Edge cannot be allowed today unless you have a 'All the Apps' creative Cloud of Adobe license. So, could you say,

  (1) is there a roadmap of Adobe Edge? or edge is no longer being developed?

  (2) flash Pro has been renamed Adobe animate, but is still essentially a Flash designer. Fit our needs for the html5 animations?

  (3) if we buy the Adobe Edge animate CC, you long term plan to support, or it is removed shortly?

• Animation in Adobe Edge animate 2015 changes after I save and return

  Hi all.

  Thus, the 2014 version was very good.  In 2015, I created an animation.  Saved.  Closed the program.

  When I returned, stuff has been moved slightly and the animation was wobbly.

  The "axes" of items I had rotation went from the place I put them, towards the Center, so they go wrong.

  In addition, items decided just hard to move a part of the stage to the other.

  Any ideas?

  I couldn't find anywhere to downgrade in the Adobe Creative Cloud app (which I hate to do) to 2014, but if I have to, to save my company time and sanity, I will.

  Generally, the application Adobe Creative cloud has an option under 'Manage the Application', or somewhere, I think.

  Then, I understood what was going on.

  (1) all the graphics that you import into Edge animate must already be sized down.  If you resize them on board animate, well, I got unexpected results.

  (2) you must save it to your layers, one at a time, in Photoshop.  DO NOT use any batch process for this.  Once done by batch process in E.A. graph, I came across problems.

  (3) convert all you want turn to symbols.  Set the right anchor on the scene and inside the symbol.  This will ensure that your point of rotation remains consistent, save for save.

  (4) this is the second time where I posted a question, so that waiting for a correct answer, troubleshoot - it done myself and then returned and posted the answer.  Maybe I have a career hidden in Adobe technical support?  :-)

  It seems that the bug when edge runtime tries to reed and camelize descent CSS attributes.

  I really DON'T have to ensure that the amendment that I am proposing will have no side effect ... do it at your own risk!  But it seems to work for me =)

  The file to edit is edge.4.0.1.min.js, the compressed version of edge.4.0.1.js,

  I'm trying to follow a course on lynda.com.  But their course files has been made on adobe animate 2014.  When I try to open the file with adobe animate 2015 it does not?  But the file will not open with the older version of adobe edge animate 2014 either.  Is there a reason or solution for this?

  Animate animate Adobe and Adobe Edge are two different applications, you cannot open the other.
