  • Why are there now TWO Adobe Flash Player required to view all of the Web sites: v11.9.900 and v12.0.0.43?

I had Adobe Flash Player v.11.9.900.170 and upgraded to v.12.0.0.43. When I checked the Add-ons Manager, both versions of Flash were listed and active. I disabled the earlier version, and now indicate a few sites I don't have Flash. When I re-activated the old version, the video has played very well. So what's the problem with it is necessary to have TWO versions of Flash Player installed, the current one AND a previous one? Seems hinkey...

@cor-el: the previous version seemed to disappear of itself, about 12 hours later. I checked the topic: plugins page (along with the Add/Remove Programs), and only the latest version of Flash is not installed. I have already refreshed the pluginreg.dat file.

There always at least a web page that asks for the installation of Flash Player, but it works very well on almost all other Web sites.

  • Wrong version of Adobe Flash Player

I downloaded Adobe Flash player 11,9,900,117 update 094 to 117. I use http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about to determine which version I'm running as well as the current version of Flash. I did it with IE Explorer. So I thought that I was present. So even if you are using Firefox, I ran check flash and she came back saying I was running 11,8,800, XXX > so I used this session of Firefox to download and install 800 117 again. Then when I ran adobe check, it showed that I was running the current version.

It's almost like Firefox has a version of flash player? The scary part from a security point of view is I was running in fact an older version of Adobe Flash since I installed Firefox? Version number of he, 11,8,800, watching XXX (don't write the actual number), would bee on current, for when I started using Firefox. Surely I don't have to get each new release of adobe with explore and then get it again with Firefox to keep informed? Anyone can help to explain or fix. I love Firefox, but...

There are 2 versions of Flash Player. There is only a version of ActiveX for IE and a version of the Plugin for most other browsers. To update Flash Player on a Windows system, you must update both. IE has a different way of installation and a different file that is recognized by IE to run in the Internet Explorer browser. OSX has its own setup program "DMG" - see below.

You can do this by visiting one of the Adobe pages that offer update Flashplayer with EACH browser type, or you can download and save the "EXE" for Windows version ("DMG" for OSX) for each hard disk, close all browsers, run the installation programs.

  • Why adobe flash player slows down the performance of the browser all?

I rememeber more there are problems with the plugin flash player in Mozilla's Firefox browser, causing the plugin to crash: Adobe Flash plugin has crashed - prevent it from happening again. Firefox help

After a recent update (17,0,0,134) he almost never crash, but it slows down all browsers performance until she finally released the following video. The majority of all the news sites use flash player

to launch its "commercial. And there are several boxes with advertisements, for example: www.lrytas.lt

And while I'm listening to music via youtube and on the other tab reading news on this site, when the music clip ends and the browser begins to load another clip of music,.

then the job of the Navigator everything is paralyzed - I can not write a text, can't scroll down, do not click on a link. This is because the system is busy while loading YouTube next clip.

Mouse marker becomes in a circle around rotation indicating the loading procedure (firefox does not). And it takes time - up to 10-15 seconds to launch the new video. Then sudenly my actions is executed after such a break - my text is typed.

My scroll down and maybe link is pressed. All this procedure slowdown is annoying. It wastes a lot of time. I opened the Task Manager and I see that Firefox takes 900,000 or 1300.000 K memory. My OS is Windows 7.

I close the process firefox.exe together and then it automatically closes the plugins. Then I open the browser again and he ask to retrieve automatically suspended sites, I agree with her and then she just opens again. And once again

He works constantly for some time until it slows down the browser again. With several tabs more problems. In addition, the display of a video sometimes too late too. Some images are lost, as the system is already too late because

loading procedure takes too many resources.

A long time ago long flash player was better. But today, with increased again * substandard computers like iphones iPad you need to evolve the player such that he must play throughout, but its performance on different platforms

    This is not the same.

Who is guilty - my PC, Firefox or the plugin? Or maybe that I am?

In my view of cold, users actions cannot be ignored. Preference should be the user continuous control on a system load.

From now on, everything works fine. No complains. I mean without everything turning off hardware acceleration. It's after a few windows or update firefox.

  • Flash v11.9.900.117 - MSI installs a version of the "wrong"!

I downloaded the latest version of Flash Player Adobe Flash Player Distribution page 11.9.900.117. However, when you install the. Installer MSI, the resulting version listed in the installed Windows programs is v11.8.800.168 for browser Plugin and v11.8.200.175 for Internet Explorer. I doubt that Adobe are aware they have a problem on their download site with the offline. Flash Player MSI installation file.

MSI installers in the page of distribution are version 11.9.900.117.

What is the date of the digital signature of the installation files?  They should be September 27, even as the programs EXE installation.

If your MSI have a different date, most likely, you have downloaded an old copy cached somewhere on your company servers.

Since my upgrade to Safari 10, Adobe Flash Player is disabled by default. Is it safe to reactivate or is it considered dangerous now?

It has always been a bit of a risk. You can activate it if necessary, but if you don't need, I would leave it turned off.

  • Should I install Adobe Flash v.10 required by Pandora on Safari, but not on Chrome?

I listened to Pandora Internet radio every day on my iMac with Safari. But today, I can't even connect, because the site requires that I have install ' Adobe Flash v.10 or later. "

Then I open Google Chrome and tried Pandora, and it worked very well, automatically connect me as usual.

Is there a virus trying to get into my iMac by Pandora in Safari? I'd be worried?

    Please notify.

    Thank you.

No, you do not have a problem. I went directly to the site of Pandora, and he says the same thing.

If you have updates Safari to version 10, that is why the message. It's a deliberate safety Safari change. Even if I already have the latest version of Flash installed, Pandora is blocked from knowing this, until I click on the link. I then clicked once to allow him to use the Flash and then the site. However, then it seems to get stuck in a loop do not know Flash is already installed and active and told me to get and install Flash again.

The link also takes you there directly on the Adobe site if you have not installed Flash and is the only place that Flash should always be obtained.

In any case, it seems that the new version of Safari does not work as it should be with Pandora.

  • Adobe Flash Player not installed

I installed Adobe Flash Player, Shockwave Flash, V17.0.0.188 several times trying to update my plugin since the evolution of Windows 10 about a month ago. I don't get an error message, but when I return to mozilla plugin check, it shows that I need to update the reader, as if I have not done. Does not reboot the PC (as well as the shut-down/re-start).

Flash Player 17.0.0.188 is old as it came out may 12 as you can see at https://helpx.adobe.com/security/products/flash-player/apsb15-09.html

Flash Player 18.0.0.261 ESR (Mac and Win)

It seems that you have a version of Flash player, 17 and 19 installed according to the directions of your system more on tight to your post details. When you have an older version installed with current version installed on the system can still get used to the place.
