  • Adobe Flash Player works only with firefox

I downloaded the latest adobe flash player plugin, but it does not work with Firefox. It works on Internet Explorer.

All of these problems come from the fact that Vista and Windows 7 64-bit operating systems. Internet Explorer is also 64-bit but Firefox is unfortunately not 64-bit compatible and cannot use 32-bit plug-ins.

When upgrading Flash, it will look at your system and select the 64 bit version. This says it contains a 32 bit version as well, but this does not seem to work on version 11x64_mssa_aih. It will work fine on all programs except firefox.
To make sure you have a working version on Firefox you will need to search the Flash support site for 11x32_mssa_aih which is the 32 bit upgrade package.
Until Flash fixes their version 11 package, or Firefox supports 64 bit plug-ins, you will need to run both a 32 bit and a 64 bit Flash player.

  • Firefox 6 does not recognize my latest Adobe flash player. It works with IE, so I think it's a problem only Firefox.

Woke up to find that my Firefox has been automatically updated to Ver 6 +.
The usual questions have emerged, with a few plugins not working do not. The annoying thing is Adobe flash player.
I downloaded the latest version of the Flash player and installed Ver 10, however non of my Web pages back on this. All Flash content I want to watch (from a Web page) tells me to install the latest version of the Flash player. Done so 3 times nothing helps? Any ideas?
NB: Works IE and flash worked fine on the same websites.

IE uses another version of Flash (ActiveX), that most other browsers use - the plug-in version, which is what needs Firefox.

    1. download the file of configuration Flash from here:

    Adobe Flash - Plugin version.

    Save it to your desktop.

    2. close Firefox using file > exit

Then check the Task Manager > processes tab to make sure that firefox.exe is closed.

    {XP: Ctrl + Alt + Delete, Vista: Shift + Ctrl + ESC process tab =}

    3. then run the Flash configuration from your desktop file.

    4. run Firefox and test your installation here: https://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/

    • On Vista and Windows 7, you may need to run the installer of plugin as administrator by starting the installation program via the context menu if you do not get a UAC prompt for permission to continue (that is to say that nothing seems to be happening).

  • Only problem with the installation of new version of adobe flash player

Hello. I'm unable to install the latest version of adobe flash player. I don't get the error messages as the cause of most of the people on this forum. What happens is I run the Setup and it tries to install a second, and then the installer screen is empty, as you can see in the picture. nothing happens after that. I tried to uninstall and reinstall. Some advice on why this is happening?adobe screen shot.png

    Hi Casey,.

When you downloaded this file?  That's a problematic installer that we removed from our servers last week (Wednesday, 25 March).  If it is still downloading it is either put in cache on our servers and we need clear cache again, or it can be cached in your browser, in which case, clear the cache of the browser will download a new installer and unproblematic.

    Thank you in advance.

  • Adobe Flash Player 12.0.0.77 plays only not in Mozilla Firefox 27.0.1

I use Windows XP.  I downloaded Adobe Flash Player 12.0.0.7 and installed on my computer.  I opened Mozilla Firefox 27.0.1 and went to youtube to watch the videos.  I clicked on a video to watch and received the following information:

Adobe Flash Player is required for video playback.

Download the latest version of Flash Player.

I open the Control Panel on my computer and saw that Adobe Flash Player is installed.  So why is Firefox not recognize it?

Discover Firefox patches too, however, because they will help.

And we all started somewhere, I still laugh things that I did in 1998 with my first system.

  • Some web pages ask to install the latest version of Adobe Flash Player. Why?

I use Windows 8.1 and 10.0 on different desktops and laptops, and I have the same response to certain web pages. I have the latest version of Adobe Flash Player (19) installed.

(Shockwave) Flash Player is not among the list of Plugins that you have on your system, your system details more right of the post.

Note: the ActiveX of Flash Player for IE version only works in IE and not other browsers.

Download Firefox completely Plugin-based browsers versions and then install Flash.

  • Adobe Flash Player update. Why I don't see tube you videos with Firefox?

I had this problem for a week now. I can hear the videos but not see images. I went into plugins and update of Adobe Flash Player, but it did not help. Restarted, etc. To return to the form on the page that it is said still Adobe reader must be updated on my windows xp, Adobe said it is up to date. Perhaps this is related to why I can't watch the videos?

From Firefox 40, YouTube uses many Windows XP users another drive, the HTML5 player. In order to confirm what player is used on the page, you can right click on the video and check the last line of the quick menu (context menu) that appears. (If the menu of Firefox crashes, press and release the Alt key to display the menu of the player.)

Assuming you get the menu black having HTML5 in the last line, that's your problem. So... what to do about it. Here are two possible solutions:

    (1) use an add-on to force YouTube to serve you the Flash Player

There are at least two extensions to do this, you only need:

    (2) use an add-on to tell YouTube that you're still under Firefox 39

    (A) install the https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/ua-site-switch/ extension which certainly has a confusing interface.

    (B) select and copy the old identification of user agent for Firefox 39:

    Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:39.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/39.0

    (C) while on a youtube.com page, click on the small triangle of drop down menu to au-site-switch and paste the old and then user agent string press ENTER to save it

    (D) may reload YouTube without going through files cached (Ctrl + Shift + r)

E repeat B & C on https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/ to apply the hack for embedded videos

  • Add ons said display Adobe Flash Player RealNetworks (tm) RealDownloader PepperFlashVideoShim plugin out date even after I have download and update. It s

I have the version 1.3.3.66 Adobe Flash Player RealNetworks (tm) RealDownloader plugin PepperFlashVideoShim., which is obsolete. I click "update now" and go through the process installation, but after that it says always "obsolete" and "update now".

Also have Adobe Flash Player Shockwave Flash 18.0 r0, which was recently updated.

Should I just delete the RealDownloader?

    Thank you.

Pepper plugins are not used by Firefox.

This API is for Chrome and Opera browsers, and it should not even appear in a list of Firefox Plugins or the Manager of the Addons > Plugins. It is a 'fault' or a Bug in the installer and must be fixed by Real Networks. My advice is to just ignore it.

Now, if you see this message here - http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/plugincheck/ - can provide you with a screenshot of what you're watching?
He could help us if or when that happens in the future.

    See this support article.
How to make a screenshot of my problem?
It is best to use a type of compressed as PNG or JPG image to save the screenshot and make sure you do not exceed a maximum file size of 1 MB.

Then use the button Browse... below the text message response area to download the screenshot.

This Plugin Check page was performed on all browsers of 'service', but has recently Mozilla Firefox only and they cannot switch off analysis for API extensions for other non - Mozilla of. IOW, do not allow a person who uses IE to use the Web page (as I just experienced when I used IE here), but the scan stiil looking for ActiveX and pepper API 'plugins' in the registry?
Perhaps "other browsers" are disabled temporarily because of the recent eruption of updates Flash and Mozilla blocking the exploited, older versions of Flash, and once things return to normal on this page loads they intend to allow "other browsers" to access this page?

  • I understand that you no longer support Adobe Flash player, you have another plugin for my games?

If you think that Adobe Flash player is not a suitable plugin, you have a suggestion for an alternative? I've been using Google Chrome, but I told myself that they will not prohibit Adobe as well. I play 'King' of games such as Candy Crush, as well as others, and I will not renounce my games. I tried looking for an alternative a few months ago because Adobe crashes every day, but I went to the wrong site and downloaded a virus instead. Any suggestion that you can give me would be great. Thank you for your time.

    Price of leila

Everything you've read that Mozilla has declared no longer supports the Adobe Flash Player is incorrect. Mozilla supports still Flash but currently has all previous versions on a deadlock due to critical vulnerabilities. https://addons.Mozilla.org/Firefox/blocked/

Mozilla puts only versions of Plugins (and Extensions that are malicious software) which are serious security (criticism), as well as reasons of stability. Unfortunately just about every version of Flash player is on red list since December because feats experienced Sailor and in current versions of time.

Current versions of the plugin base of Flash player for Windows and Mac OS x are not listed but Linux version is due to Adobe not having an update still which is unusual. https://www.Adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html

As you can see Adobe has been busy trying to solve the exploits in their Flash Player at the last moment. https://helpx.Adobe.com/security.html#flashplayer

Regarding the Flash alternatives that may or may not work or partially according to the operating system and the site used are Unity Web Player, GNU Gnash and Lightspark.

  • Since firefox has blocked Adobe flash player how can I veiw videos online?

My computer and the operating system are archaic - xp - and a very old computer, but flash player ran in the past. Firefox blocks any attempt to update adobe flash player citing vulnerability. And yet, they don't give NO option to watch videos on your tube or any other site. What can I do? I click on the box always allow, but Flash Player is still blocked.

On Windows XP, you can consider using the Extended Support Release - Flash Player 13.0.0.305. New versions of Flash offer features that Windows XP cannot use - features only available in Vista and more recent operating system of Windows.

Scroll down about 3/4 of the way to the bottom of this page.
    https://www.Adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html

Enter the windows > browsers Plugin-> EXE installer version.

But before you install it, you must first run the uninstall program Adobe Flash to get a clean install of Flash.

  • Adobe Flash Player 18.0.0.194 is installed, but the plugin check, it says that adobe Flash 17.0.9.18 is exceeded, even if I have the latest version of Flash.

I have a bit of a problem that does not appear on another computer. I am running Windows 7 and on one of my computers in the office and it is visible in Mozilla Firefox Adobe Flash played being updated and overwhelmed at the same time. I have the latest installed flash player which is 18.0.0.194, but it is still announcing Adobe Flash Player 17.0.9.18 and says that it is obsolete. I checked my system with a few technicians as well and it is very clear that only Flash Player 18.0.0.194 is installed on my system for Internet Explorer and Firefox. We are at loss as to what is happening or why it shows this error. I don't even have Adobe Flash 17.0.9.18 installed on the system. With the computer always upward in the shop, after a week and make a ton of search in the forums, that we are all at a loss of what is happening. We tried to uninstall Firefox and reinstalling and that did not help. We also tried to uninstall Adobe Flash and reinstall a new version of it as well. None of them is the problem. Firefox reset as well didn't help either. Being that this happens only on one computer I think it's a very strange situation. Y at - there anyone out there who has an idea of what is happening and how to fix or is really something that can't be fixed? There is no virus on the system. Yes, I tried the update through the update button as well as trying to go directly to the site Adobe itself. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well, I just thought about it all now, but I still want to thank you for your help. You'll love the answer too. I was literally looking at the plugin page and I saw 17.0.9.18 and I arrived just to scroll to the bottom of the page where he showed another application like 17.0.9.18. Guess what he listed as. Real Player. I uninstalled Real Player cloud of programs and it solved the problem. The problem is that stupid little icon appears as Adobe Flash up and in fact what we really know that for 17.0.9.18 is true cloud player. Boy, heaven's to betsy, if anyone out there has the problem I did I sure as hell hope it helps you too. Thanks again for your help. I use no loss anyway so no Real big Player cloud for me. XD
