Adobe Flash version 19.0.0.226 installed, but Mozilla plugin checker plugin obsolete readings.

I recently installed Adobe Flash Player version 19.0.0.226. However, the auditor of Mozilla plugin read obsolete. Then, I went to the plugin list, scrolled down to Shockwave Flash and click on "details". I found that there are two files .dll, NPSW32_19_0_0_207.dll and NPSW32_19_0_0_226.dll. I think that the auditor thinks that Adobe Flash version 19.0.0.207 is installed. I hope someone can understand what is the problem.

Good news! I restarted Windows 10. Then I opened Mozilla Firefox and ran the auditor of the plugin. Flash is up to date. The old traces of Flash version 19.0.0.207 has been deleted.

    Hi again Jay,

Flash files that are in the SysWOW64 location, these files should be there, but more comprehensive information should be listed.

Could you post back the full info on the file Flash .ocx, .dll & the .exe? Otherwise, I don't know what version you have.

Also, go to tools, manage addons and look for Shockwave Flash Object. What version is it and turned on?

This is important because they consist of Flash Player. I didn't need any Setup log info, so please do not post that.

There are two different versions of Flash. ActiveX for IE version and the version of the Plugin for other browsers. Have you installed the correct version? This forum software is not thing that Flash is installed for Firefox or the Plugin is disabled.

    1. download the file of configuration Flash from here:

    Adobe Flash - Plugin version.

    Save it to your desktop.

    2. close Firefox using file > exit

Then check the Task Manager > processes tab to make sure that firefox.exe is closed.

    {XP: Ctrl + Alt + Delete, Vista: Shift + Ctrl + ESC process tab =}

    3. then run the Flash configuration from your desktop file.

    4. run Firefox and test your installation here: https://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/

    • On Vista and Windows 7, you may need to run the installer of plugin as administrator by starting the installation program via the context menu if you do not get a UAC prompt for permission to continue (that is to say that nothing seems to be happening).

  • Adobe Flash Player 18.0.0.194 is installed, but the plugin check, it says that adobe Flash 17.0.9.18 is exceeded, even if I have the latest version of Flash.

I have a bit of a problem that does not appear on another computer. I am running Windows 7 and on one of my computers in the office and it is visible in Mozilla Firefox Adobe Flash played being updated and overwhelmed at the same time. I have the latest installed flash player which is 18.0.0.194, but it is still announcing Adobe Flash Player 17.0.9.18 and says that it is obsolete. I checked my system with a few technicians as well and it is very clear that only Flash Player 18.0.0.194 is installed on my system for Internet Explorer and Firefox. We are at loss as to what is happening or why it shows this error. I don't even have Adobe Flash 17.0.9.18 installed on the system. With the computer always upward in the shop, after a week and make a ton of search in the forums, that we are all at a loss of what is happening. We tried to uninstall Firefox and reinstalling and that did not help. We also tried to uninstall Adobe Flash and reinstall a new version of it as well. None of them is the problem. Firefox reset as well didn't help either. Being that this happens only on one computer I think it's a very strange situation. Y at - there anyone out there who has an idea of what is happening and how to fix or is really something that can't be fixed? There is no virus on the system. Yes, I tried the update through the update button as well as trying to go directly to the site Adobe itself. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well, I just thought about it all now, but I still want to thank you for your help. You'll love the answer too. I was literally looking at the plugin page and I saw 17.0.9.18 and I arrived just to scroll to the bottom of the page where he showed another application like 17.0.9.18. Guess what he listed as. Real Player. I uninstalled Real Player cloud of programs and it solved the problem. The problem is that stupid little icon appears as Adobe Flash up and in fact what we really know that for 17.0.9.18 is true cloud player. Boy, heaven's to betsy, if anyone out there has the problem I did I sure as hell hope it helps you too. Thanks again for your help. I use no loss anyway so no Real big Player cloud for me. XD

  • On Firefox 4.0 when I try to play a video, I get "You need to update your Adobe Flash Player to view this video." But Adobe Flash 10.1.102.64 is already installed, and it's the only version I have. In addition, all the videos work fine in Internet Explo

Firefox does not apparently see that a high enough version of Adobe Flash is already installed (there is no downgrade). Other applications are able to run Flash without any problems.

The Flash player for Firefox is 10.2.159.1 that the fixed Zero Day exploit in the previous version, see: Adobe releases update of Flash Player Security.

What I suggest you do is to go to http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html and download Adobe Flash uninstaller, and that (first close Firefox). Then, go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ to obtain the current version.

Uninstaller will also uninstall IE8, so you'll have to use that to download and install it again I'm afraid. This is because the version of Firefox does not have the ActiveX control that is required to operate the Flash in IE8.

There are a few versions Adobe Flash installed a Flash Player interface in Control Panel. You can update Flash from there. If this option does not uninstall Flash completely and try again. However, there is another way to get Flash but you will need to wait for the next update try this way, or you can view someone elses computer. Here's how to install Flash without download. Most people get Flash set to update automatically. At the start of his computer Flash appears with the update and they install it. Once installed, you will find a folder for temporary files to Adobe and the flash.exe is inside the folder you can copy the .exe on a USB stick and install it on any other computer.

What happens when it install Adobe Flash player?

Method 1: Uninstall Java completely, then reinstall.

Check out the link to uninstall and install Java below: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Install-Java-in-Internet-Explorer

Creating cloud said 2015 Lightroom, I installed, but the installation was not successful. How do I install reinitiatite?

If you have a full membership of creative Cloud or a plan of photography, you should be able to download and install Lightroom CC 2015 on the site of creative cloud. Since Lightroom CC is a new product, it will not show as an update in Adobe Application Manager. Instead, press the button install next to Lightroom in the Application Manager.

IF you do not already have it, you can download here creative cloud office:
Using creative cloud | Creative cloud to desktop

Then, install Lightroom.  For information on downloading and installing applications, see this link:
Using creative cloud | Download, install, update or uninstall applications

If you do not see 'install' by Lightroom in the application manager, please first try to log out and return to: connect and disconnect from the creative cloud desktop application

If you still have questions, see option 2 in this link:

    Hello Gordon,.
It seems that you have only installed Flash Player in Internet Explorer but not in Firefox. This is why the Adobe site now offers to allow you to download FlashPlayer * here * to install on Firefox, you should now do, you use the Firefox browser.

  • Does not randomly after Adobe Flash version 11.4

It began on Friday, my Firefox has been nonstop issues enter the phase is not liable for all average 1-2 min and then delete to the top or the longest. Usually on a site using flash, I check my task manager and find 2 Flash 11.4 operations running with Firefox. It also blocks even when you save files or closing/change in new tabs, so I don't think that its all the new flash flaw or not. Randomly also opens a tab in a new page at the time when the freeze ends.

It gets really annoying to do this all day.

    Please help me

    Hi scottd57904809,

Flash Player is not supported on all mobile devices as such, no support is provided for this.  If the content you are trying to view requires Flash 8 then it is more likely is the culprit the content itself, or the device.  Mobile technology has advanced a bit since Flash 8 and 11.1.
