Adobe Media Encoder crashes

I do the dance recitals and exporting each recital (2-3) minutes each.  Adobe Media Encoder encodes one then crashes on the second.  I stopped and restarted the computer, exported images, and once again, it does the same thing.  Any ideas on why this is happening?  I really need to do them individually.

Thank you

One thing to try is to purge the cache of your media.  To do so, start SOUL, go to the preferences, click on the media tab, and click the "clean".

  • Adobe Media Encoder crashes on Windows 10

A week ago, I "upgraded" to Windows 7 Pro for Windows 10 Pro and now...

In my Premiere Pro CS3 (I know, I know, why am I not spend a ton on an upgrade of the CC...).

When I'm ready to export a sequence, and select Adobe Media Encoder, I get one almost

immediate crash and the popup says: "sorry, a serious error has occurred which requires.

Adobe Premiere Pro to stop.  We will try to save your current project".

Everything on my Adobe Creative Suite CS3 Master Collection worked perfectly

with Windows 7, but go back to Windows 10 is not an option.

I am running a Dell XPS 8100 Intel i7, 8 GB of memory, 64-bit operating system.  Should be enough

    horsepower!

Thus, Adobe has a 'fix', and/or the community of users has a method/work around

that I could use?  For now, my only option is to export an AVI 'Movie.... ', but I

was happy with Adobe Media Encoder and I want much she's still running.

    Suggestions?  Miracles?

    Thank you!

    Hi Johnnie_D,

I apologise for this inconvenience, but I'm not sure if the CS3 products are compatible for Windows 10 or not.

Because Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 was launched in 2007, Adobe does not any further development on this version of Premiere Pro.

In addition, Windows 10 was launched in 2015 and only creative cloud products have been tested with this operating system.

My suggestion would be to re - install the Premiere Pro and SOUL on this machine.

Otherwise, use it on Windows 7.

Thank you Lord! SOLUTION AT LAST!

After having been informed by tech adobe support that: "I'm sorry, but this is a file from the base of the core of the system, we cannot do much."

I decided that I was going to test each component in user accounts and find the culprit manually.

I have studied everything that I could all kernelbase.dll NTUSER.dat and parameters of the first.

From what I could gather kernelbase.dll if crushed more often when the 32-bit and 64-bit settings are not configured right.

I downloaded Registry Explorer 0.7 and analyzed a new vs account a "corrupted".

I discovered that windows keeps a record of the last access programs via OPEN/SAVE location.

    It is located in:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\ComDlg32\OpenSavePidl MRU\prproj

    To solve the problem:

It comes to registry changes, do at your own risk!

    1. Create a new user account with admin rights. I'll call it "AdminRescue".
    2. Connection in "AdminRescue" and open first cc, check that the problem has disappeared.
    3. Now you could start using the new account and forget the old, but I find myself that making 3 times in 4 months, the issue will come back again.
    4. The solution is to runREGEDIT under the new account that you created.
    5. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\ComDlg32\OpenSavePidl MRU\prproj
    6. Select prproj and export it to a disk usb or c:\adobefix
    7. Disconnect from the new user account and log in to the old damaged account
    8. Run Regedit
    9. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\ComDlg32\OpenSavePidl MRU\prproj
    10. Select prproj and Delete
    11. Select OpenSavePidMRU and import the regkeys exported in the new account. located in the usb or c:\adobefix
    12. FIXED!
  • I get a lot of Adobe Media Encoder crashes - help!

Hi - I'm on the latest version of first CC 2014 and Adobe Media Encoder CC 2014 and my main system is having a devil of a time to get out the box because of random crash of shows. A crash of the complete program that happens more than one error of rendering where the program remains open but stop coding. I have just a first 720 p timeline and I try to make out to ProRes 422 with 4 audio channels. Sometimes it works, sometimes it crashes. I can sit and let it made with no other applications running, or can I continue to use the creation and the accident can happen twice.

My main system is a Mac Pro (mid 2010) with 32 GB of ram running OS X Yosemite 10.10.2

The crash error text is useful? Not sure if anyone knows how to read that sort of thing. Thanks for the help!

  • Reinstalling Adobe Media Encoder

Adobe Media Encoder crashes at startup.  He suggests that I have reinstall the application.  I use creative cloud and I was wondering the best method to reinstall.  I can't seem to find an uninstall program, and if I remove it from applications manually, it does not indicate it needs to be updated (in the update), or it will appear as an option in the application manager.  I guess that's because it is considered a part of the first.  Does this mean that I have to uninstall all of first?  I'd rather not... Any advice or suggestions welcomed.  Thank you!

  • Adobe Media Encoder CS6 crashes when exit

    OS X 10.7.4

    Several types of materials

Adobe Media Encoder CS6 from Adobe Production Premium CS6 as installed.  NOTE: CS6 has been installed under one user other than the user who is having accident of SOUL.

    Question:

Open the SOUL.  Encode a file or do not encode a file because the final result is not serious.  Now quit SOUL (shortcut key or file-> exit).  SOUL, then crashes.  Keep in mind that no other program CS6 is affected in this way, just SOUL.

I came across this problem weeks ago and found a solution that worked.  The fix was to remove one of the many many files adobe creates in your user folder.  The problem now is that I can't find that posting even where was the fix.

I deleted this "mystery folder" we'll call it and then SOUL CS6 worked well.  The capture was that I had to redo the 'Adobe ID' together in BS sign and re-enter the serial number when I opened one of the other programs.

Assumptions as to where this file would be so I can delete it again?  I was hoping that others may have run on this same question.  I'll keep looking for the correction and post it back here, if I finally find.

Try going to "~ \Library\Preferences\Adobe\" and then delete the files 'Adobe Media Encoder' and 'Commons '.

This put SOUL in default state and remove the media. Personalized presets will be deleted so make sure to save them.

  • Adobe Media Encoder CS6 - startup crash

I'm not able to start Adobe Media Encoder CS6 on Mac (Lion 10.7.3) - still, it attempts to load and gives me a "Adobe Media Encoder CS6 quit unexpectedly"

This happens with a freshly installed Web & Design Suite AND on both of my Macs.

I just reinstalled Flash CS6 to check - and no again, no chance to open it.

Super boring! What can I do?

    Thank you

    Steffen Funke

So, I was able to solve than this based on this (old) thread that deals with the same kind of problem under the CS5:

    http://forums.Adobe.com/message/3975390

In short: delete "Adobe Media Encoder" of your user preferences folder (/ Library/Preferences/Adobe Media Encoder).

It will be recreated the next time you start.

This was strange was, I need provide the admin password to delete the folder, even though i's in my user Prefs.

This should not be the case and I suspect that's the reason of the accident (record rights issue, preventing Adobe Media Encoder writing it's own preferences folder)

    Hope this helps someone else.

  • Where is Adobe Media Encoder CC

I think that after an update, Adobe Media Encoder CC crashes at startup. It actually crashed my Mac that never done before.
