  I installed Acrobat 9.1.2 and choosing the "Adobe PDF" menu does not appear in the Menu of Excel 2000.  I uninstalled and reinstalled Microsoft Office in PDF Maker option without change.  It appears in the Menu of Word 2000.  Adobe 8.1.3 presents with all applications of Microsoft 2000 (on different computers.)

  Could you please try the uninstall application using cleaner tool Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat cleaning - Adobe Labs tool and restart your system.

  Then try to install the application from this link: download Pro or Standard versions of Acrobat DC, XI or X and check if it works.

  If you use Adobe Reader, you will not be able to create a PDF file. Adobe Reader cannot create a PDF file, modify/edit the content of a PDF page or export the contents of a PDF page.

  For those, you must use Acrobat or one of Adobe's online subscription services.

  My new Office Jet 8500 (A910-G) seems to correctly perform a scan to PDF, but the PDF file does not open, gives me the error message "the selected document cannot be opened" in PDF Complete.

  I agree that it's a software because it works well with Adobe Acrobat.  It's just PDF Complete (which was free with my HP computer) does not work!

  What is "Adobe XI" - Reader or Acrobat?

  But, "Save as Adobe PDF" is a function of Word, independent of this Adobe software, you have installed.

  Adobe is not a Microsoft product.  If you have the full Adobe Acrobat product (Professional, Standard, etc.) installed some version - reinstall it by using the product key and the media.

  Print to Adobe PDF? Why the * & ^ * & ^ V_ $ didn't pay a lot more money to Adobe for an Adobe program that does not work with another Adobe program?   There are help files built into some software (on the server) I want to convert to PDF format rather than print them. As with many printers, I thought that I could share the PDF driver installed by Acrobat Pro software, and then just send the coil on the server. I fell initially on missing driver problems, so I google a solution where there are additional drivers contained in program files (x 86). However, there were several enigmatic named "* .inf" any files that showed up some certificates of 6 driver that all had the same name. Talk about directions being useless, even if they were right. In all cases, the first installation of the driver came with promising results, but no final file. I thought I could just update the shared, 32-bit driver, but will understand that the option to refresh the secondary driver was not found. The recognized common dialogue clearly, I installed one, but an option to update or manual removal is not provided.

  I'm at a point where I'd like Adobe to just show me some love and throw the 32-bit Setup program Adobe PDF Converter that would have been incorporated into earlier versions of Adobe Acrobat. If anyone could lead me in the right direction to solve my problem, it would be greatly appreciated.

  Acrobat is not approved for use on the server. If you can print PostScript on the server, you can take the postscript file and distill them on your version of Distiller.

  My (certainly old and slow) system made too the first time I opened 11 player, but he "thawed" after fifteen seconds, (an eternity in computing time, I know, but it has finally opened completely) what you see to the right is the "Tools" palette during initialization. That's exactly where mine would freeze at startup. Once he finally opened fully, I clicked on the "Tools" link at the top to close the Panel, and I opened and seen a document in this way and then closed reader. Now when I open the drive, the tool palette is not initialize and it opens immediately.

  Restart and prior to open what any else, open the drive. When you open it, DO NOT try to do anything with it until it fully opens, do not click on anything that it either, do not try to switch to another app give it time to open up completely and then click the tools link to close. Then open and view a document and close it. Close the player and reopen it. the tools Panel should stay closed and reader should open completely immediately.

  Creation of PDF files does not include the elements drawing generated by stylus included within a powerpoint file. All other embedded objects are visible in the pdf file.

  I would be grateful of any advice.

  There seems to be a problem with PDF Maker. I found the same result with PDF Maker, which included no graphics (markup). HOWEVER, if I print to the printer Adobe PDF, the result is very good. The latter would no links or bookmarks, but the markup is here. I couldn't find all the PDF Maker settings to work around this problem.
