• Adobe Photoshop CC 2015 crashes at startup (Photoshop.exe)

  After update today with CC 2015, I get the above message whenever I try to launch Photoshop.  I tried a number of suggestions, but nothing seems to work.  I also called support and they told me they would call me back within 30 minutes.  That's more than an hour there.  I just tried to call back, and no one answered.  The website says they are open until 19: 00 PST, which is still an hour away.  Support sorry and an unresolved issue.  It seems that Adobe is looking for ways to make their customers to leave.

• Adobe Muse CC 2014 hangs at startup

  My version of Adobe Muse CC 2014 crashes at startup. I tried to reinstall several times but it continues to be.

  When I open a project, it works up until I have shut down the project, I get the following message:

  OK, another preferences folder to try renaming.

  ~/Library/preferences/Adobe/Adobe muse CC/20141

  Rename the folder 20141. Muse will create a new. The theory that we are going to hunt, it is saved from a previous launch which is originally Muse stopped that something somehow. There are two places that muse save settings between sessions. We have eliminated one, so hopefully it will turn out be something in the other.

  If rename works, I would appreciate is you could send us the file renamed, so we can try to determine what was the cause of the crash. Thank you.

• Photoshop CC 2014 crashes when you open or save PNG files

  I'm having a problem where open or save PNG files causes my copy of Photoshop CC 2014 crashing.

  I've updated to the latest version, restarted my computer and don't have any plug-ins installed. I also re-installed the application program cloud creative, although I have not tried a sequence complete uninstall/reinstall.

  I'm running an x 64 version of Windows and we tried the 64 and 32 bit versions of Photoshop - or work.

  Other file formats do not seem to cause any problem - the problem is specific to the PNG files (Adobe Photoshop does support on any PNG as LibPNG library? Maybe an older version was installed by a different application?)

  This question seems to have taken place in the past on the Adobe forums, but there is no clear resolution.

• This software is compatible witht the 'class in a book, Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 release'?

  I have the latest PS app but when I received the book mentioned above the required configuration is Adobe Photoshop CC (2014 release) and Adobe Bridge installed CC. I am new to all this and don't know if both are provided with the current application, I have on my laptop or if I need to download a different software.  13 elements Adobe works for the book above?

  If you have the latest Photoshop CC app (no elements) and bridge installed, you're good to go, but the book will be very useful if you use elements.

  What is the best option for me?  I am trying to learn Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 (I used 1 month trial and as to continue using, I need only to Photoshop, no storage cloud or any other service). I need to use as less money as possible. In some places, I see US$ 9.99 / month but when I try to register it requires more money (€37,19 / month).  How can I activate it so I can use the minimum amount of money? Thank you

• Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 will not work on Windows XP

  I downloaded and installed the trial version "Adobe Photoshop CC 2014" in my machine to Windows XP, Service Pack 3, 32, bit. "." After install when you click on "Adobe photoshop CC" icon, browser does not open and the message is to give "the procedure entry point to initialize section criticism not found e.g. in the KERNEL32.dll dynamic link library.

  Photoshop CC 2014 is not designed to run on Windows XP. It requires Windows 7 or Windows 8.x

  I recently installed Adobe Photoshop CC 2014.2.2 and I got this error message as I opened on my 32-bit laptop to windows 7. Here's the problem I screenshot it. Can anyone offer advice please?

  

  I had this problem too.  I didn't know it at first because the CC 2014.2.2 to update installed without error and 2014 CC work without problem so I thought.  I turn off the Welcome screen. I thought it may be a good idea to see if Adobe added something new to the Welcome screen, so I used the Help menu > welcome...  When I did, I got that pop up on the extension is not signed.  After that, I received this message every time I started CC 2014.   Then I saw did not have the new preference do not show the Welcome screen.  I solved the problem by using Photoshop CC 2014 direct Installer to install Photoshop CC 2014 on top of Photoshop CC 2014.  Back level CC 2014 so I used the menu help > updates of all the updates that are installed without error. The home screen has worked and I also had the new shows don't not the preference of the Welcome screen.

• Edit in Adobe Photoshop CC 2014

  When Lightroom 5 and I select "Edit in Adobe Photoshop CC 2014", it does not create a copy in a format tif or psd (or jpg) as it did in previous versions.  A box to pop up allowing me to set the file type, space etc. color then in Lightroom, I'd get a second file (filename - edit.xxx) and photoshop open this file for editing.  I am very use to this my previous versions of LR 4 and cs3 workflow...  Any help is appreciated!

  At the point where the image is opened in Photoshop is no longer raw images. You do not work on the raw file in Photoshop. The only difference in your workflow is when this TIF file is saved. Since Lightroom and Photoshop are synchronized, the backup of this secondary file is deferred until the end of the session of Photoshop. But any work you do in Photoshop is registered in the TIF file. The only difference is the point to which the file is saved. So you really change your workflow at all. Photoshop, in itself, cannot do anything with the raw image data.

  To expand a little further, Photoshop cannot change the raw image data. When an image is sent from Lightroom to Photoshop, Camera Raw is used to interpret the adjustments that have been made in Lightroom. The image is then converted into a standard RGB image. When Photoshop and Lightroom are "in phase" which converted image is kind of 'suspended' in Photoshop. You make the settings using Photoshop, and then the image is saved in a TIF or PSD file according to your Lightroom preferences. When Lightroom is more recent than Photoshop / Camera Raw, Lightroom will give you the choice of creating the TIF image that includes any adjustments in Lightroom, or to open the image in Photoshop. If you choose the second option, then the image opens without creating the TIF, but any adjustments you've made in Lightroom can not be applied because you are using an old Camera Raw. Which may or may not create a problem. Something you'll have to decide.
