• Photoshop files now show as Adobe Photoshop, image 16

  I noticed that the small type psd file icon displays more on my PSD thumbnails in Explorer. I tried everything to get that back, but nothing helped. While trying to figure it out, I discovered that all my PSD files now say they are ".. image16'." I guess that means that they are 16-bit, but they are not. They are only 8 bits, so why Photoshop says they are 16? And how do I get the icon back?

  Any help would be greatly appreciated. It's driving me crazy.

  Oh, I'm on a PC running windows 7, if that helps.

  I'm more on Windows 7 I have not installed Windows 10.  However for that loon that I can remember. PSD files have been Adobe Photoshop, image 15.  I see in windows 10 that has not changed in my Explorer of Windows Windows file association abd files. However it looks like .psd in the register a .psd as Photoshop.Image.16. Photoshop.Image.16 open with CC 2015 on my system.  I don't use CC 2015, there are too many bugs so I put the file types that I edit with associations of default file from Photoshop to CC, 2014.  I still CC 2015 installed so I can test the updates to the release of Adobe.  I have CS2, CS6, CC, CC 2014 install as well as CC 2015.  There are differences in all versions.

  I recently agreed to work on some art for a friend, he sent me a few files that appear on my Adobe Photoshop Image 15 (.psd) PC - only when I open the in my Photoshop CC (all updates installed are available from the moment that this has been posted) they don't seem to be the correct images? I have Google had the above expression but nothing appear on my research that could enlighten me to what I may need to open these files correctly? can someone let me know if the above file type is intended for Photoshop or one of the many additional programs to adobe CC breast? If it's a Photoshop format then I have my apologies for wasting time and it is possible that the file was corrupted as possible before being sent?

  A friend you also uses Photoshop CC or use Photoshop CC 2014.  There may be incompatibilities is a few layers if it uses CC 2014...  However, CC should be able to open. PSD file.   And files of type Adobe Photoshop Image 5 as PSD, PDD extensions should be combined with Photoshop.

  I've been put photoshop tiff files in Illustrator, and this seems to change the color values, when I sample with the eyedropper tool. The images that I did use a custom mix of intense Black of CMYK, with the K value of 100. In Illustrator, they seem to go back to the default "black Photoshop' value, about C75 M68 Y67 K90. It is not my intention to C70 M60 Y58 K100. The Illustrator document's CMYK mode, and I don't know why this is happening. No graphic elements (vectors) in my illustrator file retain the color values, I intended, however.

  Is this some kind of framework that I can change in Illustrator? This gap will be displayed when this file goes to print? Help, please! Thank you.

  When the image is not embedded, Illustrator samples the values of representation. Those that are managed by color management.

  The problem with movie files, is that the "date taken" is not recorded by the camera in a metadata section. Therefore, the Organizer assumes "creation date" returned by the computer OS must be used. You can change (update) the "date taken" in the Organizer so that the catalog keeps information you entered in the catalogue.

  Is it possible to export the data to a CSV with a script in photoshop. Right now we are running a script in photoshop which creates images of several products in a variety of color combinations. These images are exported to a local folder. Can another script run after the location name and image of the export file to a csv file? If this is not photoshop what if any program can do this.

  What I mean by putting all models way bad, illegal or immoral, it's that you cannot take a picture of a person mark the person looks like a drug attack, change it in any sexual way, etc.. A good rule is that if this image was of your family member would you want people to see? Some examples of the changes that I made.   Hello. Question on export as: It seems that it is impossible to export with a color profile, fade using save for web or export new feature. The link in PS that is vague, saying: color profiles can be possibly supported when save for the web goes.   Use save for Web, where you check "Convert to sRGB" and "embed color profile".

  The new export module is unfinished. I have no idea why they rushed it this elsewhere, it lacks all essential functions base and is now completely useless.

  To reset the preferences:

  1. quit Photoshop

  2. open Finder

  3. click go in the menu bar and choose go to folder

  4. type in ~/library and click Go

  5. open the Preferences folder and rename the folder Adobe Photoshop CC2015 Settings settings Adobe Photoshop CC2015 old

  6. Restart Photoshop and try to change the color to see if the problem still occurs.

• Cannot change multiple colors for the life of me

  Hi there-

  I'm VERY new to photoshop and have tried to change just two colors in this stupid picture now for about five days. I know it is rudimentary, probably for most users.

  I have searched extensively online and experienced the replacement color and adaptation to "replace color" tool under the image.  I'll try to join the front and the picture after I was able to come up with.

  Essentially, I want to just replace the red and green to orange and black.  Orange I have is a very specific pantone (I have numbers, RGB and CMYK that I would use).  If possible, I would like to keep the shading... I think that's the biggest problem.  The colors are not uniform.

  Anyway, if it will take me a lot of time it's fine, I just don't know how to do and have all the edges and look to correct shading.  I can't find an online tutorial that shows even how to clean an image after you change its color to make it look professional.  I'm going nuts.  It is a job application and if you know how to do this and can help me - thank you!  Help!

  With a hue adjustment layer you can easily change the colors on this image while maintaining the shadows. I selected Greens on the menu drop down and move the brightness slider to the left.  Then, I selected the Reds and moved the Tint slider to get an orange tint.  Finally, I added a levels adjustment layer to increase the contrast.  I know, however, how to obtain the specific orange hue you want. I look forward to reading more specific solutions.
