Adobe Reader 10.1.1 installed on the operating system Windows 7 with MSWord pdf will not be read aloud. Why?

What's not here? Everything works and I checked the preferences under Edit menu. I even turned off my firewall to the case where. Also read aloud mode is checked under view in the Menu and I started it at the beginning of the document. I also checked my audio on my computer and everything is ok. Hmmm.? Can someone help me?

Thanks to a contributor whose Id I have now lost but has the answer! It's go to preferences under display in the Menu and click general. Then uncheck Protected Mode. close the reader and re open and it worked. The voice is so much nicer than the old Adobe Reader software. Thanks to the contributors of the Forum.

I noticed that both (x 64 and x 32) versions of Adobe Photoshop programs have been downloaded and installed on my Windows 7 x 64 system, are they correct?

Yes, it is perfectly fine. Both versions installed. PS just like a traditional 32-bit application and a 64-bit version for systems with processor and operating system to run 64 - bit.

    Adobe:

"The main advantage of using the 64-bit version of Photoshop is to access the amounts of RAM beyond what Photoshop can access as a 32 bit application. Photoshop can make the most of more than 4 GB of RAM only if it runs as a 64-bit application'.

  • My computer has been infected recently with Sirefef (AB and W variants). How will I know if I do a backup/clean install of the operating system or not?

As says the question: my computer has been infected recently with Sirefef (AB and W variants).  How will I know if I do a backup/clean install of the operating system or not?

I'm running a full system scan in ESM right now, and it has detected multiple instances of sirefef.   I have remove as they pop up, but I'm afraid that when I run another scan they all will always be there.  Is there a way to know if MSE is actually remove them and he cleaning?  If not, should I do a back up and reinstall the OS?

Thank you.  I can choose to try this, however, I would like an answer to my other questions first.

Sirefef is a rootkit and yes he can hide in your system.  This is why it has been suggested that you may need to reformat/reinstall.  In fact, it's the only way to eliminate malware.  Multiple scans with several scanners and no conclusion malware probably indicate he disappeared, but the key word is "probably".  Malwarebytes is good and what he finds now may be traces of the infection, but what he finds perhaps not active more - it is always good to run the scans so.

What spare drive did you run?  What scanners did you use?  See again you and follow the guide "Malwaretips"?

For the firewall problem, you can try the following Microsoft Fixit.

One of the users of the Forum answers maintains that a great guide on information security is important for understanding the removal of malicious software.  See the following compliments of Brian M - for suggestions on how to solve your problem: http://www.selectrealsecurity.com/malware-removal-guide/#after see: after the removal process and solve the problems of Post disinfection

Uninstall/reinstall of MSE is how?  All the problems?  Have you tested MSE with eicar to be sure it's working?

Assume that you have not had an opportunity to review the MSE Installation Checklist or you would have noted that MSE and Windows Defender cannot be used on the same computer.  So if WD works in fact it means MSE has been disabled/not not work correctly or not installed.

  • Vista does not start, fails to Startup Repair indicating that the version of the operating system is incompatible with Startup Repair tool

I use a laptop Dell XPS M1330, under Vista Home Premium 32 Bit. The laptop froze, I tried to do a system restore, which did not work. Now the laptop goes into startup each time put on repair. A message window appears saying "Startup Repair cannot repair the computer automatically. Startup Repair window says "Startup Repair could not detect a problem. Diagnostics details say: Root cause found: the operating system version is incompatible with Startup Repair tool.

I tried to use the Dell Factory Image Restore to restore the system, but it does not end. I get an error message instead. There is no details, it's just a small window with an X and the Word error.

I also tried to use resettlement Dell DVD, but that doesn't seem to work either.

Vista does not start at all, not in either safe mode.

I just ran to the Dell Diagnostics tool, and that is to say that the integrity test of memory has failed... No idea how to solve this problem?

I'm at a loss and helps woukld be appreciated.

    Hi James,

Ø are you using the correct version of the Vista disc to run Startup Repair?

I suggest to run the diagnostic tool memory WINRE mode and check if the memory (RAM) installed on the computer works fine.

Follow the steps below to start the computer using the WINRE and run the memory diagnostic tool.

    A. Insert the Windows Vista installation disc.

    B. restart your computer.

    C. Si you are prompted, press any key to start Windows from the installation disc.

Note: If your computer is not configured to start from a CD or a DVD, see the documentation provided with your computer. You may need to change your computer's BIOS settings. For more information, see BIOS: frequently asked questions.

    D. choose your language settings, and then click Next.

    E. click on repair your computer.

    F. Select the operating system you want to repair, and then click Next.

    G. in the menu system, SelectMemory diagnostic tool Recovery Options.

Once scanning is complete, check to see if the problem is resolved.

Note: If you are not aware of the evolution and swaping the stick of RAM on the computer, it is best to contact the computer manufacturer for help on this and you can do it at your own risk.

I did a clean install on my Mac Pro, now my CS4 doesn't work anymore. Gives me error code 150:30 (licensing has stopped working). • Adobe CS4 products and the operating system Windows 10

Everyone has problems running DreamWeaver (I have CS4) or PhotoShop Elements 7 on the new OS of Windows 10?

I do not know whether or how well former products will perform in Win10.  CS4 is too old to be eligible for updates now.  But my guess is that if it ran OK on Win 8.1, it could work with Win10.  My advice is to run the compatibility checker. Or Win10 to test on a 2nd machine.

  • Install a second operating system (Windows XP) on a Satellite X 200 20 G

Hello everyone, I need your help on the following:

I know that many messages describe the parties what to do (I spent sometimes on then), but I would like to minimize the risk, I'm looking for the simplest and comprehensive guideline for this change.

Why XP? Just because I run a lot of astronomy hardware and software and, well, Vista is not ready yet...
I am satisfied with Vista for other uses, so I'll keep, install XP on the second hard drive and do a dual boot.

First of all fear: I will have all the appropriate drivers to jump?
I run a Satellite X 200 20 G PSPB9E-02G021FR and me found on the Toshiba support site 'certain' drivers for XP, but it seems that (at least) screen is missing...

==> 1) could you pls give me a link to a page that lists all the drivers for my specific system?
==> 2) could you pls direct me to a message that describes the steps to follow?
==> 3), it seems that nLite is the ideal solution to make the XP installation CD, but I guess I couldn't just throw Vista capture my drivers for XP, it's just?

Thank you very much for your help
    Guy

    Hello

You are right. It seems that the display driver is not available because the XP seems to be is not officially supported. He s strange.
Maybe you can try the graphics drivers from 3rd party sites such as www.omegadrivers.net or www.laptopvideo2go.com.
But I really don t know if these drivers would work so you can install it at your own risk.

    Anyway back to other issues;
(> ==> 1) could you pls give me a link to a page that lists all the drivers for my specific system?
The Toshiba European driver page (I assume that you knew it) provides all the XP drivers (except the display ;) driver).

(> ==>) 2 could you pls direct me to a post that describes the steps to follow?
On the European driver page, you will find the installation instruction .txt file too ;)
You must install all the drivers in the order mentioned in this doc.

(> ==>) 3 it seems as if nLite is ideal to make the XP installation CD, but I suppose I could just run it under Vista and capture my drivers for XP, is it true?
Hmm I think the nLite should run on Vista too. So, you can create your own XP Cd using nLite software (but you will need the original CD of Win XP too). Using the nLite, you could include the Intel Storage Manager driver that is necessary and important. Without this driver XP will not see the HARD drive!

    Good luck

I have a 64 bit windows 7 Home premium and the ID sticker on my computer, but also a disc for windows 7 64 bit edition Home premium.
