  Hello! So I'm afraid this might be a stupid question, but I can't understand it so I decided to ask anyway. I just got a new PC that had Adobe Reader pre-installed on it. I have a document that I need to convert a PDF to Word format, but can't seem to do it with Adobe Reader. Is it possible that I can convert the document in Adobe Reader, I'm not aware of, or do I have to install another version of the Adobe Acrobat software to do the job? And if I need to download another version, could someone provide a link to it? Thank you!

PDF files and I ask then my mouse over a file and a simple left click to select this file, Windows Task Manager shows me that the system immediately starts opening copies of AcroRd32.exe (in pairs) and continues to do so until the PC is out of memory.  The PDF in question is not actually opened.

  Hi, I use Adobe Acrobat XI pro trial version. I converted a Word document to PDF format. I added text fields, scripts to add Java automatically today's date as default, the form RESET button and Signature fields. File is saved as a standard backup. All this is done in the Windows 7 environment. On the same computer, the signing in Adobe Reader fields are visible even if I don't have the means to test. When the same file is sent by electronic mail and opened on an IPAD using Adobe Reader 11.2, signature fields are missing. I intend to have my users access the file (and 30 other same) on an IPAD. Can someone advise how to resolve the problem of missing signature field. It seems that Adobe do not help with these questions, because it is not considered to be an installation problem.

  Digital signatures do not rely on mobile versions of Adobe Reader. Other viewers PDF as Expert PDF of Readdle treat like fields of electronic signature, allowing the user to draw/apply their signature designed, but is not the same as a digital signature.   This is probably a stupid question, but I noticed something weird last night.  I have Adobe Reader 9 on my netbook and Adobe Reader XI on my main computer.  I had gone through some PDF files online on my netbook and in Adobe Reader 9, I have the player "interface", i.e., there is a border around the PDF, with the number of top box and I can search the document for various things.  On my main computer with Adobe Reader XI, are simply downloading the PDF files and I don't have the player "interface" in addition, there is no way to search for items or go to specific pages.  Is there a place to change my settings in XI so that I get the interface?  Thanks a lot for your help.

  I had a huge problem, update my adobe flash player, I think I could have solved to look here. The problem now is Adobe Reader, with everything I did install, reinstall, etc. I suddenly can print pdf files. I just uninstall the drive and now it install it at all I get the black screen of death in step 2.

If I remember correctly, you can download the installer for Adobe Reader XI from this page, even if on Windows Vista, by choosing Windows 7 as OS.

  In any case, Firefox now has its own built-in PDF Viewer, so you have other ways to open, view and print PDF files in Firefox, in addition to Adobe Reader or other PDF browser plugins. See view in Firefox PDF files for more details.
