  (Adobe) Shockwave Flash is the Flashplayer plugin. You have version 11.1 installed r102, which is the latest version. Adobe is responsible for the name, not Mozilla.

  Do not confuse Flashplayer with "Adobe/Macromedia Shockwave player" that is an old, but still used, product. Adobe is responsible for confusion, not Mozilla. Shockwave player (which, it seems, you have not installed), would show under your Plugins as "Shockwave for Director.   This is done on a Macbook Pro 15 "retina (mid-2014), 2.8 GHz i7 with 16 GB of RAM.  I am running 10.10.3 on the machine.

  I actually found the question.  I was running the wizard to customize the DMG somehow instead of starting from the directory/applications.  Still not sure how I managed that one - perhaps not enough of coffee.  I noticed in the log after a few tries more and my post:

  Launch /Volumes/Adobe Customization Wizard/Acrobat DC.app / Customization Wizard...

  I hope my post can prevent someone else pulling the hair!

  Hello, I just downloaded trial of adobe, and I was wondering if I could (after 30 days competing) redownload Adobe test? I don't want to buy programs yet because I'm still a kid and my father wouldn't pay $ 600 for a program that I'm not seriously going to use. Please give me any suggestions what other better free programs should I use first because my computer also sucks too, there will probably laugh but I'm still under celeron! Then please also give some ideas too much on what other programs good I could use (except WMM or Imovie).

  Once a trial version has expired, it is the end of the road for the use of this test on this machine.  You will need to get another machine to start a new session of the trial.  If you want information on other programs, you should ask in the product forums.

• 8.1 Windows and IE 11 will not play test the Flash animation

  I am running a fully patched/updated updated copy of 8.1 of Windows and Internet Explorer version 11 (on the desktop)

  If I try to run test movie to http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/flash-player-issues-windows-8.html , I get the following message:

  • ActiveX filtering is disabled
  • Internet Explorer runs the latest version of Flash Player

  Can anyone give me any suggestions as to what I could try to fix this?

  I really need to Captivate 5.5. I tried a trial version to download. I found the Adobe test but when I click to download the trial version, it makes me download v.6. I already have 6 and it does not work for us. I need 5.5. Any ideas?

• Firefox does not recognize the Flash version is 18.0.0.209. It's still 18.0.0.203.

  Mine did the same thing, so I did a complete pc reboot and changed the to18.0.0.209 plugin. Just restart FF won't change.

  I just checked my modules and told me to update my Shockwave Flash.
