ADR 3.0.2 vs URL mapping

Hello

Just installed 3.0.2 ADR ords.3.0.2.294.08.40.zip which is supposed to have a fix for the problem of mapping of the url and it still does not work.

Can someone tell me if you did this work?

If so, please SHARE!

do not use APEX at all

work with web services on different databases

ADR deployed in Weblogic 12 c

TKS!

JP

Well guess what...

FIXED!

When running java-jar ords.war installation - database mydb

use the following syntax

...

Type 1 if you want to use the PL/SQL gateway or 2 to skip this step.

If using Oracle Application Express or mod_plsql migration, then you must enter 1 [1]: 1

Enter the user name of the database gateway PL/SQL [APEX_PUBLIC_USER]:ORDS_PUBLIC_USER

...

then run

java-jar ords.war map-url - type base-path /mydb mydb

all good now!

    Hi 5thGen,.

Unfortunately, the clusters are not supported in Web services. You must provide a unique name for each entry.

  • Reverse the Image URL mapping Illustrator (AI HTML)

    Hey guys,.

I have a question about the URL mapping in Illustrator. So I have a bunch of cards of seats that are drawn in Illustrator that are saved in HTML format and uploaded on our application. However, I ran into a few cases where cards so we were made a long time ago and there is no file HAVE for them and I have one. CSV (which I suppose can be easily converted to HTML). Is it possible to make the URL mapping in the opposite direction and have Illustrator to draw a map with coordinates that give you it (instead of give your details for something you already have).

I also found this page, but I'm wanting to do the exact opposite of it:

    ai2html

For example, I have drawn here details...

    Exhibit 2.png

But want to turn it into this:

    exhibit 3.png

What I'm trying to accomplish is essentially to take old cards who don't HAVE not one drop and make an AI of the CSV file (or HTML - I can convert it) so that I'll be able to modify the plan (add new sections, 'old' split, etc.) and re download. As I said I'm not quite sure if this is possible, but if someone knows a way, please let me know and PM me your PayPal so I can buy you lunch

Perhaps the use of scripts, but even in this case: is it clear how much belongs to which way?

As with JavaScript, I've only seen the opposite. But maybe you want to ask in the forum script if it is possible. If there is no script, you will need to invest much more than a free meal for the written for you.

You should be able to use the WebUrlMapPlugin to create a URL that does what you need.

  • URL mapping

I'm finally ready to publish my app structured on our staff, except for one small thing, that I can't understand

I'm trying to map a url to an item called 'link '. But, when I do what I think, that's the way, it only wrap the text with the element, but there "is no" anything, as place a marker of the URL.  That's what I inserted, I am I missing?

    Element (marker): link

    Initial marker type

    1. in all contexts.

    Use the marker type: Hypertext

    Thanks in advance

    Lyncca,

In addition to having a tag element which surround them, markers in FM structured work the same as unstructured. Therefore, to modify their content, you must use the special > marker and/or special > Hypertext dialog boxes.

To insert one with the catalogue of the element, first make sure that you do not have any text selected. If you do, Frame will wrap the text selected with the marker element, but it won't place a marker, leaving you with an element not valid. After you insert it, you can use the generic marker that structured product editor Frame, or dismiss this box, reselect the marker (perhaps by clicking on the element in the structure view), and then edit it with one of the above dialog boxes.

    Hope that helps.

  • Mapping of URLS with ADR 3.0.1 and Tomcat for several APEX databases

    Hello.

I have ADR 3.0.1.177.18.02 installed with Tomcat 7.0.59 on a server named ah30.  It works well with APEX 4.2.6 in the data base SCREWS on this server.

I also to be configured to work with a second database on server ah9 APEX, but I was not able to run again.

Can someone help me with this issue?

Were you successful with this type of configuration?

    Here's what I did.

I have added the database.  ADR has created the data filed: home/oravis/ORDS/confs/ords/conf/ah9_db.xml.  The password is correct.

    Database file: /home/oravis/ORDS/confs/ords/conf/ah9_db.xml

    <? XML version = "1.0" encoding = "UTF-8" standalone = 'no '? >

    < key = "db.password entry" > @xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx < / entry >

    < key = "db.username entry" > APEX_PUBLIC_USER < / entry >

    < / properties >

Use the following commands, I was able to create a new database connection and map the URL.

    Java $ [oravis@ah30 ADR] - jar ords.war map-url - type base-path /ah9 ah9_db

    August 1, 2015 18:06:13 oracle.dbtools.url.mapping.file.MapURL run

INFO: Creating new mapping of: [base path, / ah9] to map to: [ah9_db].

    [oravis@ah30 NICO2277] $

In the catalina.out log file, I find the following:

    Process of oracle.dbtools.url.mapping.file.FileURLMappings August 1, 2015 18:21:44

WARNING: Could not find any target database corresponding to: ah9_db, null

This URL gives me access to the APEX on ah30:

    http://ah30.xxxx.com:8080/ADR/f? p = 4550:1

This URL must give access to APEX on ah9, but he Gets the error 404 of ADR.

    http://ah30.xxxx.com:8080 / ADR ah9 f? p = 4550:1

    localhost_access_log says:

I also tried to run ADR in stand-alone mode with URL mapping, but that no longer works.

In an attempt to install separate that I was able to set up independent ADR to get at APEX on ah9, so I don't know the database will answer.

    Thank you

    Skip

    Skip - absolute salvation,

    Skip - absolute says:

Anyway, nobody has responded to this topic until you.  It's surprising.

I suggest you try later versions 2.x ADR.  I have had more success with the URL mapping using this version.

I have not had an opportunity to deepen the problem, but I may be soon.  With my level of knowledge, I must rely on cookbook recipes provided by the documentation and other.  My only interest in ADR and Tomcat should connect the plumbing APEX can be used.  Sometimes my clients have DBA and system administrators who want to install APEX but get hung up a web listening port configuration, so I have to build my knowledge base in order to help.

With a situation this week, where s/n a customer insists on a two-level facility, I see a few new questions, and I'll look for the time to post in this forum.

Good luck to you and if you find answers, please share.

The solution of mapping URLS of configuration of multiple databases with ADR has been described in the blog and the following thread:

I was able to implement the mapping of the URL of ADR and multiple database feature using the version 2.0.10.

Reference: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E56351_01/doc.30/e56293/config.htm#CBDCHGDF (refer to ' Configuring multiple databases ')

The URL mapping feature does not work in latest versions of ADR 3.0, this was confirmed by the following threads:

  • ADR 3.0.1 on Weblogic for APEX and base mod_plsql as feature

(Hope someone can help me on this point, has spent a good part of the weekend trying to get this to work.)

I installed and deployed ADR 3.0.1 using Sql Developer 4.1.1.  It works with my APEX 4.2.5.00.08 DB 12.1.02 deployed on Weblogic Server 12.1.3 (zip distro of otn) all running on my Windows 10 box.

Now, I want to add the ability to run a simple mod_plsql procedure "hello world".  I simply cannot function.  Here is what I have done (the best I remember):

    create user identified by somepassword ken;

    grant create session, contact Ken;

    create or replace procedure

    is

    Start

    HTP.p ("Hello World");

    end;

    /

I can run the procedure of the SQL Developer and achieve the expected results.

SQL Dev ADR administration, I created a new parameter (apex) of the database is already there called ken:

    JDBC: default settings

URL mapping: Rule_type: path to the routing rule: /ken, scheme of RESTful services: KEN

ORDS_PUBLIC_USER: entered the password of this user

    PL/SQL gateway user: KEN

APEX REST users: left two passwords Virgin, documentation ADR seems to indicate that they are not necessary for the use of the APEX non.

    Downloaded configuration.

WebLogic command window provides the following error message:

    INFO: update configuration: default values

    Process of oracle.dbtools.url.mapping.file.FileURLMappings August 10, 2015 08:29:50

I'm thinking that something is wrong with the url - mapping.xml:

    <? XML version = "1.0" encoding = "UTF-8"? >

    " < pool-config xmlns =" http://xmlns.Oracle.com/Apex/pool-config "> "

    < chicken base-path = "/ ken" name = "ken" space work-id = "KEN" / >

    < / pool-config >

I tried configuring it with java command line syntax:

    SET JAVA_HOME = D:\Oracle\sqldeveloper\jdk\jre\bin

    d:\Oracle\sqldeveloper\ords > java-jar ords.war map-url - scheme KEN - ken /ken base of type path name

    < 10 August 2015 14:56:58 CEST > < error > < default > < BEA-000000 > < pool named: ken_pu is not properly configured, error: ORA-01017: name of user and password invalid. connection refused

I tried the URL Path mapping http://alluvion4:7001/ADR/ken SQL Dev

    NotFoundException [statusCode = 404, reasons = [[]]

    at oracle.dbtools.url.mapping.URLMappingsProvider.map(URLMappingsProvider.java:79)

    to oracle.dbtools.url.mapping.filter.URLMappingFilter.doFilter(URLMappingFilter.java:55)...

My solution so far is to copy the ords.war, rename it and redeploy using SQL Dev, set the user to the PL/SQL gateway for my ken of the schema target, ignore the configuration of APEX restful services and deploy on weblogic.  That works, but I would like that it works in a simple deployment and I would understand options matching the url (what is necessary and what is not for this configuration).

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    -Ken

Sorry it took so long to come back.  I saw that 3.0.2 is out so I thought I would try it with the latest and best.  I disassembled the process by not using DO NOT SQL Dev or Weblogic.  It was in the syntax of the url of the map.  For a simple, plain old, mod_plsql dad, DO NOT specify the schema name (or a space of work-id also).  It's against intuitive but the schema name is specified when you configure the PL/SQL gateway in step "Setup - database'.

The card-url command is then simply: java-jar ords.war map-url - ken /ken type base path

the file url - mapping.xml looks at this (no name schema, not the space of work-id):

    http://xmlns.Oracle.com/Apex/pool-config">

  • Problem in the configuration of the ADR.

    Hello

I'm setting up ADR REST on my local machine for demonstration purposes. I did the procedure below, but I'm not

able to run the REST service, or connect to the workspace that is customized by using the access link. Please guide if I'm missing any step.

I have APEX 5.0 installed on my machine and using ADR 3.0.

    (1) I installed the latest version of oracle APEX on my machine, and it works perfectly fine.

    (2) I did the steps to install and configure the ADR service below.

    (a) set up the directory config for the listener of the apex:

    C:\Oracle\restords\apexlistener > java-jar ords.war C:\Oracle\restords\apexlistener\configdir configdir

    (b) run the installer of the listener:

    C:\Oracle\restords\apexlistener > java-jar ords.war of installation

    (c) edited the file defaults.xml in the apexlistener config file. Added to the key:

    < key "security.verifySSL entry" = > false < / entry >

    (d) began the listener autonomous and changed the port 8091

Navigated localhost:8091 / ADR and the link works fine.

    (e) created a newfound mew EMPSYS workspace: log on above link and workspace has also created a new schema

    with the same database name

The real problem is to come in the configuration of a path to the database and of the database to a URL mapping. Here are the steps that I did.

    (a) run the command to create the new db definition below.

    java-jar ords.war installation - database empsys

He created three new files config dir empsys.xml,empsys_al.xml,empsys_rt.xml

    (b) run the command to map data to a URL below:

    java-jar ords.war map-url - type base-path - space work-id empsys /empsys empsys

Initially it gave the error id of the workspace is not a valid option. I then deleted the job-id space and used

Workspace option. Executed under command and executed without error.

    java-jar ords.war map-url - type base-path - workspace empsys /empsys empsys

    (c) started the independent auditor

    (d) navigate tolocalhost:8091/ADR/empsys and link gives 404 - page not found error.

Here is the detail error that I get on internet explorer.

  • How to migrate from OSH to ADR?

    Afternoon everyone,

I have an existing installation of OSH that is running that a number of DAD to connect to different databases, all running Apex 4.2.  I'm looking to migrate to ADR on Tomcat.

I tested the deployment ADR on Tomcat and connecting to a new installation of 11g default XE and everything works fine, I'm comfortable with the process of functioning of the installation of the ADR itself, but I was wondering if there is a document on MOS or a similar place on how to migrate an existing install, what pitfalls to look out for , which may need to change when you use a different headset etc.

I read a thread here that mentions things like authentication may need to change the use of the listener of ADR on OSH etc.

As a side note, I am aware that I can convert each of these files DAD individual war deployed on Tomcat by changing the file name from war and using a different context root, or I can use the map and configure each database on a single installation of war ADR, it not a lot of documentation on this is there a recommended Oracle position on this?

If someone is able to provide guidance or a link I would really appreciate it.

    Kind regards

You change the layer Web of Oracle APEX and there is nothing other than the correct configuration of the Web server with the existing installation of Oracle APEX.

I read a thread here that mentions things like authentication may need to change the use of the listener of ADR on OSH etc.

Then mention that the son, and how they resemble your problems of authentication scheme.

With ADR 2.0 (last ADR 3.0) you do not need to generate different ords.war for each configuration of DAD. In this ADR, you configure several databases and through the URL mapping feature, you can have multiple instances APEX listens to a Web server.

    Solution:

Change the params/ords_params.properties file, and then make the following changes:

    Value: rest.services.apex.add = true

If you don't want to be prompted for passwords, add the following lines:

    User.apex.listener.Password = Oracle

    User.apex.restpublic.Password = Oracle

Where 'oracle' is the user password. Change accordingly.

  • Confusion between ORDS_PUBLIC_USER and APEX_PUBLIC_USER

I was using ADR 2 and apex4 and now I have upgraded to ords3.02 and apex 5.0.2.

I had the problem with the url mapped and RESTful service. RESTful service does not work with URLs mapped. 404 error.

To resolve this problem, I replaced all APEX_PUBLIC_USER with ORDS_PUBLIC_USER in all the files of configuration of ADR, and that's how I solved the problem.

    My questions are:

1 - is the medium recommended for installation of ADR?

2 is the APEX_PUBLIC_USER not need more?

    Hi pchiu,

This should not be done. Users of DB when configuring the ADR are intended for different purposes, and as a result they are given privileges during the installation of the APEX, the RESTful Web Services or setting up ADR configuration.

    Reference: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E56351_01/doc.30/e56293/install.htm#AELIG7180

    My questions are:

1 - is the medium recommended for installation of ADR?

    Just no.

As stated in above documentation and my interpretation:

    • If you want to configure 3 ADR with APEX 5: Configure the ' PL/SQL gateway' during setup of the ADR. This means configuration APEX_PUBLIC_USER during the installation of the ADR.
    • If you want to use the RESTful Web Services in Oracle APEX 5: Configure the RESTful Services after the installation of the APEX using apex_rest_config.sql (this step creates the APEX_LISTENER and APEX_REST_PUBLIC_USER with privileges). Configure APEX_LISTENER and APEX_REST_PUBLIC_USER during the installation of the ADR.

NOTE: This step is REQUIRED with 5 APEX and ADR as APEX 5 itself using RESTful Web Services internally to transmit static files in the shared components.

    Reference: https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E59726_01/install.50/e39144/listener.htm#HTMIG29472

    • (Required with ADR 3) ADR equipped RESTful Web Services configuration: this step configures users of ORDS_PUBLIC_USER and ORDS_METADATA RESTful Web Services that emit RESTful Web Services without using Oracle APEX (before ADR, RESTful Web Services required Oracle APEX 3.0). These users are created and account privileges during installation 3 ADR required.

2 is the APEX_PUBLIC_USER not need more?

Lol APEX_PUBLIC_USER is required if you want to configure the ADR with Oracle APEX.

I had the problem with the url mapped and RESTful service. RESTful service does not work with URLs mapped. 404 error.

I also had the same problem with ADR 3.0.1. You have configured a custom URL mapping?

Reference: an ADR - multiple databases

With ADR installable 3.0.2.294.08.40 'readme.html' file is provided with the section 'Changes since 3.0.1' paragraph 'Issues Fixed since 3.0.1' is provided which says:

BUG: 21448390 -Fix regression where several database mappings configured via url - mapping.xml did not work properly

  • After upgrade to apex 5 images static and services rest fail with 404

It's probably something stupid, I did, but I can't understand what it and after 2 days of going around circles (mainly on these forums!) I think I need help

I've updated to 5 apex, I ran the script @apex_rest_config.sql, ADR configured to run under tomcat, but images of the workspace and the rest services do not work I'm just 404.

I solved the problem. It seems to be a problem with the use of ADR ords.3.0.0.121.10.23. The images don't work either as a stand-alone with tomcat. Back to ords.2.0.10.289.08.09 has solved the problems.

  • LabVIEW VI controls don't bind to my dashboard OR data

Why controls in my link of VI labview for the dashboard of data OR used? My indicators link perfectly. When I set up the server and then do the 'interrogate web service' on the dashboard of data, it never shows me the control options link.

It seems that there is some problems with your web service URL mapping. The method of "inputs" pointed the bad VI (COAST.vi instead of inputs.vi). And inputs.vi controls had spaces in their names, which meant that LabVIEW could not create the automatic URL mapping. I have attached a project and VI which has these problems solved. If you rebuild and redeploy the web service, I hope you can see the entries in the data table.

  • cRIO Web services

    Hello

I'm developing a remote monitoring application using a cRIO-9012 and various modules of e/s. I wanted to use the web services on the cRIO feature but I'm having a hard time in some areas. The first is how to get the web service running on the cRIO. I found some general tutorials but nothing specific to the cRIO systems. My second question is how to URL map a 'Put' in a web service. I made the host local tutorial running a web service on my development using the "Get" of the machine but I would like to experiment with writing a digital output to a local daq card by using the web service. Here are two tutorials, I've been watching.

    http://zone.NI.com/DevZone/CDA/tut/p/ID/7747

    http://zone.NI.com/DevZone/CDA/tut/p/ID/7350

    Any help would be appreciated,

    Mark

    Mark,

The cRIO 9012 runs web services very well - that's the test platform main cRIO team used during the development of web services.  To enable web services on this issue, you must make sure that you:

    (1) install the functionality of web services using the measure Automation Explorer.  This example gets the right software and data installed on the cRIO files.

    (2) create a LabVIEW project and add the cRIO as a new equipment/target.

    (3) make a right clic on the icon of the cRIO in the project, click Properties, and select the Web server configuration page.

    4) allow the web server with the box and further down on the page, check the box web services.  Close the property pages.

    (5) deploy to the target configuration, by right click on the target in the project and selecting deploy.  This downloads the new configuration to the target and allows the web server.

    (6) you should be able to test the web server itself by pointing a browser to the target (by specifying the port you have selected if you have enabled one port other than 80) and seeing the default HTML page returned.

At this point, you should create your web service through the tutorials, build, then the Deploy option to deploy.

Note that with 8.5, GET and POST operations work fine, but PUT and DELETE have both were broken :-(- these were fixed in 8.6.1.

I hope this help to get you going with the web services of LabVIEW.

    See you soon!
