  • S10 - 3T wireless problem

My rig to receive yesterday and fought wireless problems.  Thought, he was my network for some time and found if I close the 3 t of the network works fine.

The 3 t at this point works well on the network but sometimes slow.  However any TIME that I try to download a file, it works as usual for a while then just dies.

Stop downloading and it is surfing.  It seems also to kill or slow down the network to a crawl at the same time.

I tried to update the drivers in Device Manager and it says they are the best already.

    Any thoughts?

    Thank you for your understanding.

The ends of the ongoing saga I think.

I went to Burger King this morning and connected to their hot spot and the thing that worked great - downloaded a large file on site.

Lenovo, I called and they told me to uninstall the software Lenovo 5 ready.  I did and rebooted and it worked fine and still seems to work very well ;-)  They said that it causes conflicts.

Worked on my unit anyway.  This happens on a platform of Asus here one year, their uninstalled software and it worked fine.

  • House of satellite L655 wireless problem

So, I confess that I don't know a ton about computers, but I know enough to get. My problem is the following; I can connect to the internet fine at my friends houses, or any where that has open wifi, but I was not able to connect to the wifi in my house. We have two other laptops that connect very well, so I know its mine that is the problem. I wonder if wifi we have is not compatible. We have 5 Verizon internet spot.

I called Toshiba support and asked how to solve this problem, but they have just sounded confused and told me to go on the internet to solve the problem, which of course, I couldn't do.

Could someone tell me why my computer is having this problem?

If WLAN works with all other routers which means that WLAN card in your laptop works fine.
Problem may be your router at home.

I can't say for sure, but the problem may be the wireless mode. The first cheque card WLAN advanced settings and check that wireless mode is enabled in your laptop's WLAN card.
    If I m remembering well on IEEE 802. 11 b, b/g, b/g/n.

Compare it with the settings of your router and make sure that it's on the same mode.
You can also contact your internet provider and ask for help.

  • Energy management G580 causing wireless problem

So first, I apologize if this post is in the wrong place. I saw nowhere g580s.

I've narrowed my problems wireless for the Power Manager (I think).

If the laptop is connected to AC wireless connects fine. If running on battery then it does not connect unless the energy management is set to 'performance' instead of the default "balanced."

I'm on win8 and tried 8.0.2.5, 8.0.2.3 power management version and the latest version for win7 all with the same result.

I unchecked the box in to the wireless network card device manager to "allow the computer to turn ff this device save energy."

I just bought this laptop yesterday and it would be great if someone knew what I was dominant.

    Thanks in advance!

  • C4780 wireless problem

I created my C4780 last week and it worked fine without thread for a few days, until he came all of a sudden it has been disconnected. It worked fine in USB mode, but I wanted it to work wireless so I uninstalled everything and did the installation program again. Now when I do the part wireless installation, it happens:

"Your printer has limited connectivity. Your printer using the IP 164.254.25.208 which is not compatible with the IP 192.168.0.3 to the PC. »

When I run the test wireless network on the printer itself, it is fine. I am running a Netgear DG834PN and using a new Dell Windows 7 laptop. Could not see this problem anywhere else so apologies if I missed it.

    Thanks in advance.

    OK, I understand now.

Since it is a DSL modem/router combo (leased by your ISP?) we must thing to get updated printer in place.  I just helped someone in the United Kingdom with that today.  See my response here.  You may need to modify the instructions slightly for your situation.

  • Speed EA4200 wireless problems

    Hello

I just bought the EA4200, and I find that the speed wireless connection failed. I'm not a superwiz to computers and especially not as routers, but I do know most of the basics and how to interact with routers, etc.

in any case, when I test my connection via an Ethernet cable via the router that I get about 90 m/bits-per-second download, but when I connect with my WIFI this speed is only about 11 m/bits per second. I tried with several units (2 PC and Playstation 3) in my house and the same result, even if the download speed varies somewhat (8-11 m/bits where I with Ethernet to move 30 m/bit)

Now... I live in an apartment with tons of networks around me, I have more conscience puts a limit on this, but come on? Can it really be true that it's all EA can muster? I thought the dualband was supposed to be the best? What I don't use? What can I do?

I tried to turn off the channels 2.4 Ghz, which is just the single 5 GHz to the active channel. This resulted in most of my wireless devices cannot connect wirelessly at all. I turned it back on. I did a few google searches, but to no avail. What do you suggest to me that I do? My old Netgear router and not dualband, did a better job?

Thanks in advance for your answers

You'll have a problem with a lot of AP autour 2.4 that is for sure.  However, make sure that you use WPA2-AES encryption.  Check if WMM is it on or off, test both on and then off.

Oh, you realize that you need an adapter dual-band capable of 802.11 a/b/g/n to connect to the 5 GHz band?

  • E4500 wireless problem

I improved my E4200 to an E4500 and used the same network settings. I have notifications that my iPhone and iPad times randomly cannot connect to internet. Hard wired devices as my PC can. They just sit there and spin trying to access the Internet. They connect to the network very well, only have access to the internet, this is where the problem occurs.

I can restart the device and they work fine.

OR MAYBE YOU CAN OPTIMIZE THE PERFORMANCE OF YOUR ROUTER BY CHANGING EVERYTHING

IF YOU USED THE CD, CHANGE THE NAME OF THE NETWORK---> SAVE CHANGES

GO INTO THE SETTINGS OF THE ROUTER---> ADVANCE SETTINGS---> >(SET UP PAGE)

GO WIRELESS ON AND CHANGE THE NAME OF THE NETWORK IN THE 5 GHZ RANGE (TO CREATE A DISTINCTION BETWEEN THE NETWORK 2

    > CHANNEL WIDTH SET OF 5 GHZ TO 40 MHZ ONLY AND CHANNEL 149

    > CHANNEL WIDTH SET OF 2.4 GHZ TO 20 MHZ ONLY AND CHANNEL 9

    (SAVE SETTINGS)

    > WIRELESS SECURITY, THEN ASSIGN THE PERSONAL WPA2 SECURITY MODES

    THERE YOU GO...

  • WRT54GC wireless problem

    Hello world

I have wireless router WRT54GC. Recently I bought an iPhone and because the phone could not connect very well to my wifi I have updated the firmware on the router to v.1.05.7 (I used the download link to the Linksys site). Now, the phone connects fine but my laptop cannot connect to the network via a Wi - fi. When I try to connect, I see the laptop acquires network address and he keeps trying for a few minutes. After that, I see a message 'little or no connection '.

My office is connected to the router and have no problem. The iPhone's wi - fi connection and the router is OK. But there is no connection for the laptop.

I took the cable from the desktop and put it on the laptop and I had Internet access by cable. I was trying just different options. When I'm home cable to connect wi - fi office and I tried the laptop, it was the same thing. No internet access from your laptop. Here, the strange thing for me is that I have wifi (I can connect to Internet via wifi from the iPhone) but I can't connect using the laptop. I suspect that it happened after the update to the new firmware of the router.

Any ideas how I could possibly fix this are greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

    BL

    Technical information:

1 computer that is connected to the router

    1 laptop

Both computers are running Windows XP

I found something. Safety/safe mode wireless I had put the WPA2 mixed mode (that is, the router has been use WPA + WPA2). I changed it to WPA with AES encryption and I finally logged

Of course, there is a problem when the security mode is WPA2. I played around with the settings and found each time when the security mode implies WPA2 (even when it's just about WPA2, not mixed WPA + WPA2) the laptop cannot connect to Internet. I think it is an issue that must be resolved by Cisco.

I had no such problem with the previous firmware. Pretty sure that came with 1.05.7.

    Thanks for the help, amine.

  • 8600 Communication HP OfficeJet Pro wireless problem

When I try to print or scan, I get a message that the printer/scanner cannot communicate with the network.  The antenna network icon shows that I am connected to the network.  With the print and scan of doctor utility, I checked that there is at least a connection to the wireless network.  Address and logon credentials are correct.

The utility shows that there are 2 network connections - that I am connected to watch a 60% signal strength and the other that I'm not connected, a signal strength of the 68%.

I'm normally able to scan and print normally once every two sessions that require this functionality.

The HP 8600 has automatically been setup using the thah software supplied with the printer without any problems.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

    Hi Gemini02!

I had the opportunity to try the fix several times and every time I managed.  It looks like a good solution.

  • Wireless problem Post Infection - Windows has encountered a critical error and close in one minute.

    Hello

I recently had my computer infected by the virus of the Ant-malware Doctor and I believe that it has been completely removed now. However, I think that one of its components attached to a driver of key computer or something and when I removed it I accidentally deleted this essential engine with it. So I can not access the internet for more than a minute. If I turn on the wireless, I connect but immediately the computer says: 'Windows has encountered a critical error and ends in a minute' and 'Service and controller app has stopped working and was closed ". I checked also further in my error reports and think that it may also have something to with THE COUNTER Service? It is difficult to correct the situation when I can't access internet from my computer, but I can use another computer and transfer the files needed to repair the damage. Also I have a product Id, but as Im not using my own computer (to which the Id is attached), I can't access to professional advice. But if someone here can help I would be very grateful. IM thinking of uninstalling Service Packs and reinstall them but I'm not a computer expert. Thank you in advance.

Updated after you have everything installed Norton Internet Security on my laptop the scans detected some trojan infectios and I'm checking for more information and to remove all the. Also, when I've updated my Norton Internet updates no warning sign came on a mistake criticism or service and controller app. It seems that viruses are to blame for the problem and despite the using various anti-virus software and scan many times before Norton virus remained unchanged. It's possible lack of virus definitions updated authorized to do this as the internet connection difficulties made difficult to download updates lasted. Thank you, and if the problem doesn't go away, I'll re-post say.

    Hello

    First of all,

Make sure it is turned on. There may be a switch on the front to turn wireless on or off. Then I'd go to the Dell site and download the latest Vista drivers for your 1525.

Update the driver software and it trlls me I have the most current, Intel Centrino Wireless-N2230. Don't know what to do next.

    THX in advance

    Hello:

Try the latest driver directly from Intel.

    https://Downloadcenter.Intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=23726

You can try only the first driver (64-bit is the second on the list).

A member of the forum said that the update driver alone did not help, but when it installed the fourth list (64-bit driver and software) who took care of the problem.
