  Simply repeat what you did with the first bridge. Yes, that means 4 APs. You could probably do with just one more and add the third access point at the nearest access point bridge. But I guess it depends on the distance and the antennas used.

  Hi, I have a stupid question on the performance of cube generation. By choosing the precalc %, is linear (or nearly linear) construction time to that? for example if you select 10% going to be 3 times faster than the selection of 30%? Also, is it fair to assume that if only 10% of the values are precalculated, an average end-user queries have to hit 3 times more data and therefore be about 3 times slower?
  
  Sorry, this on a virtual computer on your laptop, so test different configs build takes forever (I still have a load of cube really complete).   Aggregation based on costs (aka "Pre-computes percent") was introduced in 11.1 as a simpler alternative based on the level of aggregation. Product management dream was a linear parameter, but the complexity is quickly apparent. Which could measure the linearity against? The generation time? Time of the query? Total size of the disk? The result the balances of all of these factors, but is linear against any of them. Fortunately, behavior level percentage precompute was fairly consistent between cubes and patterns in our experience, so I can give you a rough characterization. But keep in mind that this is a guide only - you have to experience on your own scheme and a system to see what works for you. In particular, you must balance your own requirements on construction time, time of the request and the disk size.

  * 0% *-this means no precomputation at all, so all data access will be dynamic. This is the recommended setting for the top of the page partition of a cube. If, for any reason, you want to use for the scores of leaves as well, then I advise you pass a cube uncompressed.

  * 1% *-he pre-computes the smallest part of the cube that is allowed by the algorithm and would take certainly greater than 1% of the time taken by an accumulation of 100%. For partitions of leaves, it is usually best to increase the amount because you'll get much better query response time for not much more profitable in terms of disc size and the generation time. It may be a good level for the top of the page partition of a cube, but should be used with caution because the top of the page scores are often too big to pre-computes.

  * 2%-19% *-these levels does not seem to be a lot of benefits since the amount of time and the total size of the disk is almost identical to a construction of 20%, but queries are slower.

  * 20%-50% *-this range is probably the best compromise in terms of construction compared to the time of the query. The default value of the AWM is 35%, which is a good starting point. Lower it to 20% if you want a faster version and get up to 50% if you want to replace the faster queries. The setting is close to linear in this interval than outside it.

  * 51%-99% *-you should probably avoid these levels, although I've seen 60% used in practice. The reason is that while the size of the cube and the length of the construction increase rapidly, the queries do not receive proportionally faster. Indeed, you may find that queries are slower because the code spends more time swapping in the pages of the disc.

  * 100% *-this will be pre-computes all (non-NULL) cells in the cube. It may be a surprise after my advice about 51%-99%, but 100% is a reasonable level to choose. This is because the code is much simpler when you know that everything is precalculated and then stored in the disk pages.

  Generally, if more then one device has been installed, you must choose and activate the right one.
  The same phenomenon occurs if multiple printers are installed on the OS. You must first enable one and assign it as the default value.

  Check if you can mark your external webcam installed as default webcam.

  When I build I get the following message: "Labview has prevented a file name collision during the build. Names of duplicate files can be copied to the same destination... "and it references the three data files named Data.

  Well, that's all just crazy.  They are NOT copied to the same destination.  Generation does not understand a simple tree structure?

  The engineer so I have to write this program hates digging around for files if the software specification call for several configuration files outside the root directory.

  How can I include these files in a generation or the installer so that they are created during installation and placed in the appropriate default directories of config files?

  Look in the category Destinations in the dialog box to create a new installer.  The construction specifications for an installer by default puts the executables in [Program Files] \YourProjectName, where [Program Files] is a token that specifies what the Program files for the PC, you are installing.  There are many other chips for other paths such as Windows, office...

  I would first try to put in a new folder under the direction of [Volume Windows] tree.  (There is a new icon of folder at the bottom of the tree).  I'm leaving the Windows volume is going to be at the root of any drive you have installed Windows on, which should be C:\

  You could also add a new directory such as c:\YourProjectName which would put an absolute path for the installation of the executable at.

• Need some advice on the best way to do specialized source distribution

  I need to give a customer a labview block, they can use our material in their own labview code that will read the (encrypted) data net senor off the coast and the flow of data in a form usable output.  I built a vi that can be used in a loop, a bit similar to the block of canned labview data acquisition that can be used to acquire data from products OR.

  There are many sophisticated (and secret) algorithms going on in the background which make sense data and translate them into a usable data table, but also configure the hardware itself. Accordingly the only final vi I prepared to distribute the client makes use of Subvi about 20. Almost none of these subvis could be ideally be reconverted in plain code in main vi, nor what I want to do this.

  The rules of the game is the following: I want to give him the block I created to use its own code, without him to see what's happening inside the vi.  I can deny him access to the block diagram/s, no problem, but I don't want to give him access to the subvis, to use, or even to know their names - preference they would be hidden or otherwise pre-compiled. Preferably I would just give him the main block only, perhaps with some support files that would be entirely opaque to him.

  Looking for advice on the best way to go. There is an elegant solution to this problem? For example, it would be better to compile the block as a .dll file, and then write a wrapper vi any?

  Have you thought of creating a packed library? You can also password protect your code. You can delete the distributed code block diagrams. You can use a combination of the above as well.

  Very soon, I'll have to find a way to build messages to bytes to send to a serial port and a serial port to receive and review to the basis of events out of...

  However, before I delve into the complexities of the serial port communication and VISA, etc... I would just like to see some examples of working mainly with data of bytes.

  I found how to get a digital constant the byte value... the binary representations signed and unsigned, etc..

  However, if I could find a simple example or tutorial just to see how to assemble the byte-code... and how to analyze it, it would prove invaluable for me to study.  I've never really worked at the byte level / binary front... and a few examples with LV would be very practical.

  Anyone know of any good links out there something like this?

  I'll eventually be sending 5 bytes out I need to build... and will receive 9 bytes in, each of which I need to parse out and respond...

  Links or information GREATLY appreciated.  I'm pretty decent analysis of the chains, real expressions, etc... but never worked with the construction and analysis of the data in bytes.

  If you are comfortable with binary data, you can use the Boolean charts. Look at the number of table Boolean and array Boolean functions numbers. Instead of masking with an AND, you can easy to use array index to check a bit particular.

  I am trying to build a distribution. I installed in my laptop and a PC of LabWindows/CVI lab. The distribution is built using the PC lab. The construction process is rather blocked at \temp\template.ini when I try to use my laptop. The only way to put an end to the construction then is to kill the process via the Task Manager (even the version 'Cancel' gets stuck then and I have to kill him via the Task Manager).

  In computers, I have 9.0 LabWindows and they both generate generation log attached.

  When I check the dependencies module I get the following message "all the required merge modules" found + a green light.

  I'm new to the development of Blackberry and I'm writing a relatively simple application to run on 7.1.

  So far the development was interesting, I managed to create my user interface using resources online (mainly this forum), but today I tried to implement some of the network classes that I need and now I just met constant problems.

  I use Eclipse SDK 3.7.2 (the one that comes with the plugin RIM)

  First question:

  I'm not sure what I changed, but today I noticed that whenever I start the Simulator (by sim 9360) my application is started during the initial startup process. I don't think he did this before, but to be honest, I wasn't paying much attention. I think it starts at the start of the device is because I put a breakpoint in the constructor for my class from the main screen, which is hit before the Simulator happens even to the point where it is ready for user interaction.   I need to implement some methods that will retrieve data from a web service, and I also need to send data to this service. What I've read, the ConnectionFactory is the way to go. I want my application to make a request when the application is open and can check on a set interval. I didn't know exactly how to go about adding another thread for networking, I understand that network connections should not be created on the thread main event, so I tried to do this:

  At the moment it has basically unmodified code from a sample that I found, I'll be retooling to meet my needs whenever I can make it work. I HAD this work to the point where, after the closed user confirm this dialog, a few moments later a an alert dialog appears with the 302 response code. I don't know what changed, but now it doesn't work at all, and if I try to scroll with the debugger, I can't past the httpCon.getResponseCode (). I've seen some mistakes earlier on "no record of service was set up", and I also had once a timeout exception.

  I'm sure I'm doing this wrong, but at the same time as I said WAS working, and now it is not. If someone has done this far, thank you very much for your time and advice are much appreciated.

  Also, should I try to start the thread of the network of the UIApplication class instead of the screen? There is currently very little happening in the class that extends UIApplication, do I spend most of my business logic out of the class of the screen and in the UIApplication class?

  About my application being started at the start of the simulator of the device, I found that on a device real this behavior is not complied with, and in addition, the behaviour seems to have stopped after uninstallation and reinstallation of my Simulator.
