  Aero peek doesn't work! When I put my mouse on the taskbar at the bottom of my computer, it shows just the words and not the smaller window icon. When I go to the properties of the taskbar, it is gray and I can't enable or disable it. I read some of the other issues people here and I didn't know that Office 2007 can be part of the problem. I have Office 2010 could this be the problem? This air look was one of the features that Windows boasted of and now it does not work? I'm not happy about it and nobody seems to have a solution for it! Why not??? I want answers please.

  You must have the Aero Glass theme enabled to use Aero Peek. Right-click on your desktop, click Customize > select Windows Aero under Aero themes.

• Overview of the bar of tasks Aero or aero peek doesn't work do not

  Hi, I use Windows 7 Enterprise and I recently lost my overview of the taskbar. As usual, I went through Microsoft Community and checked for solutions. Bouquet of ideas were just to use the theme AERO or through advanced Visual effects and by selecting the Advanced setting to improve the appearance etc. etc. NOTHING HAS WORKED. Then I tried opening 'gpedit.msc' and checking if "Disable the taskbar thumbnails" is enabled or disabled. He showed "not configured", so I changed to disabled and restarted my laptop. Yet once, IT did NOT WORK for ME.  So I thought to post this question myself.

  Please if anyone has the solution to work, help me. Its quite difficult to work without a preview when you need to keep switching between different tasks.

• Drive DVD/RW Optiarc AD - 7201S 5 doesn't work or does not work

  I have a HP desktop with an Optiarc AD - 7201S 5 DVD player PC. It worked perfectly but stopped working months ago. I tried Delete upper/lower suggested on other forums as registry keys, uninstall and reinstall microsofts windows drivers, attach it to the tool and I even erased from my hard drive and did a cover of the plant and it still does not.

  Watch DVDs it either does not start or starts and plays for a few seconds and then stops dead. try to restart the movie, I get a message telling me to insert a dvd cause there isn't one in the drive.

  games it that either won't start at all or with world of warcraft for example installs the first disc very well and when I go to the second it stops dead and will not work without lights on the disk. It is not the cause of discs, I have a second identical computer and the drive that a disc install perfectly.

  read and write dvd/rw worked well in the past have not tried recently (I backup important images, website etc. files on the disk and always worked previously.) I now use a usb flash.

  the details are below:

  driver date 21/06/2006 (never had always used the disk those installed by windows, do not know where to find those to update if there is, windows says Joana re updated.)

  6.0.6002.18005 driver version

  Driver details:

  C:/Windows/system32/drivers/CDROM.sys

  C:/Windows/system32/drivers/GEARAspiWDM.sys

  These two files are the same on there another system with unit of work.

  I really need to get this drive working again. someone at - it ideas? or should I just rip the reader to take a hammer it and just get a new one?

  It seems that the reader or any other material goes down.

  / Settings (BIOS/CMOS) often F2 as you start - set to CD/DVD 1 safe order then try
  to start on a Windows disc. This should be very telling.

  Well, it looks like Aero peek working at all. It is activated in the task bar, and in the task 'Visual effects', everything is selected. I am also unable to flip flop.

  I use Windows vista edition Home premium that I just bought.
  Any advice?

  With all the steps that have been taken to solve the problem, it is rather likely, not a setting, but a corrupt user profile. You will not lose any software that you have installed by using a new user profile. You can easily transfer your data to the new profile so, take a look at the difficulty of a user profile is corrupted.

• Windows 7 Aero Peek doesn't work don't always

  I have installed and reinstalled windows 7.  I also installed a better video card and am still having the same problem.  The peek aero on the taskbar works find but after that my computer sits for a while without being used the pop-up window no longer works and all I get is a text box.  They don't come until I restart the computer. Any suggestions?

  still no luck. It has already been set to 1.  I'm going nuts.  It's fustrating as the _____. The only thing that seems now restore it is a restart.

  I think that I could restore my system to the condition of the plant and try an upgrade installation.  I really prefer a clean install, but I'm at the point where I think I'll try something else.

  About half of the time: if I go to my office and come back a few minutes later, the mouse has stopped working.

  And about half of the time I initialize to start work, the mouse does not work.

  Try the following.

  Open windows control panel, open Windows Update, select "View update history" in the left pane and then select "Installed updates" link in the next window.

  Locate the KB2962407 update, right click and choose uninstall.  Once completed, restart the computer, open windows control panel, open Windows Update and select "Check for updates".  You will see the update that you have uninstalled just offered once again - right click and select "Hide update".

  After that you may or may not need to remove and reload the sound driver - if you do, how to use Recovery Manager to reinstall the drivers and software is detailed in the document at the link below.

  Hi guys. I'm new to flash and have encountered a problem with actionscript. Here is an example of the actionscript, I've been using:

  This code worked great, but by creating a new page which is a gallery with thumbnail buttons (using the same method of button and actionscript), which throughout the site preview does not work?

  The buttons for the thumbnail images in the gallery are on a different layer of the menu box (they are on the layer of pages on a few individual images), but the actionscript code is all on the same layer (actions).

  Unfortunately, I still understand what yiour problem really is and how you have arranged thing.  Here's the best advice I can give at the moment...  The code for the buttons of your gallery should be placed in the frame where the buttons appear.  You can't copy and paste the code to other images.  If you need to have your gallery buttons in different settings, then you must create a separate layer for them so that they have only code assigned to them in the first frame (keyframe), in that they exist.

  Maybe if you create your gallery as a separate movieclip it will be easier for you to manage.  Then it may be more than one case where you re-create something like it to your main timeline, but works as a separate entity and occupies only an image of the main timeline.

  I was burning Verbatim 25 G Blue Ray discs like crazy, as well as the monolayer regular and double layer DVD for more than two years and now it will not burn or format Blue Ray discs. I use both bury camera Panasonic and Adobe CS4 software.  I use only the part simple DVD sex the LG GGW - H20L ATA now. I tried several things here on the internet, but nothing works, nothing works yet. Even tried the new installation of Vista 64 and still nothing. I tried to reflash LG GGW-H20L-ATA with the same version of the software package.

  What happens when you try?  Make sure you drag the icon image and not the text of the name.

  If it still doesn't work there are some registry changes that can try to alleviate the problem.  But because the changes to the registry are tedious and dangerous, I recommend to leave the system to repair it for you.  Here's how:
  1. Type of restore in the search box of the start menu to find and open to restore system files and settings from a restore point.
  2. Click Next, choose a date before the problem started, then click Next once more.

  • This process only takes around 2 minutes and only restores your system files/settings: it will not affect any of your files, documents, photos, emails, or anything else.
  If the system restore does not resolve the problem try this to replace missing or corrupted system files.  Here's how:
  1. Type cmd into the start menu search box, and then press Ctrl-Shift-Enter to launch as administrator.
  2. At the command prompt to start the File System Check, type sfc/scannow .

  Also, note the following:

  You ever need connect your device directly. Buy a card reader for the type of flash card your camera uses (they are very expensive), put the flash card and plug it into a USB port.

  Personally, I prefer to do it this way. It is much easier and doesn't use the camera battery. I have two cards - one readers that I keep on my desk next to my desktop computer and another that I keep in my case of laptop for use when traveling.
