Aero Peek shows sometimes miniature and sometimes Greyed on the picture box

I activated Microsoft Areo.  Randomly while in office products, I'll see a true picture of a thumbnail of the document then the next thumbnail is grayed out just.  What can I do to make sure that all the thumbnails show the image of the document.  I made some changes in Microsoft Office Options in certain answers forum as well.

Thank you

Hello

I would like to know some information.

  1. This problem started after activation Microsoft Aero?

I suggest you to refer to the suggestions of Shinmila H responded on July 24, 2010 and check if that helps.

Hope this information helps. Please let us know if you need any other help with Windows in the future. We will be happy to help you.

  • I hate the new address bk; don't send as before. I type a few characters and silly stuff enters the addr box, then rejected mail. How to go bk old way?

If I type in an address like 'Amy's parents' list I can send is no longer a big e-mail to all members of my family in a single click. I'll take a note "no-no" of you Bird saying ' the close recipient of Amy isn't in the right format, to [email protected].» We cannot send this e-mail. ' (or something like that).

Something like that didn't used to happen before late August 2014 or the beginning of September 2014.

I even had a one-person e-mail fail this morning (08/09/14) because I tried typing a few letters and he knew to send the e-mail message, but it included these letters in the address. He made the speech out, for example, as 'NJ [email protected]' when I wanted it to be just "[email protected]". This kind of stupid things never before used.

Can go back us to an earlier version of you Bird, to prevent this? Or a new version will stop it - I think - big bug?

This has been reported as Bug #1060901. It is fixed in a next version of Thunderbird that is not yet available. Read further for more options back to a working configuration.

Several other people have sent in the same request of support you, noting that it happened after they upgraded to version 31.1.

The exact error message is: XXXX is not a valid e-mail address, because it is not the form user@host. You need to correct before sending the e-mail message.

This happens in Thunderbird 31.1.0 when the description of your mailing list includes several words separated by spaces.

Well that isn't ideal, these workaround solutions should allow you to use your mailing lists until a proper fix is implemented:

    • All by composing an email open the address book and select the list you want to send, to highlight all the names in the list and drag them to the To: box. This example uses your existing data without changing it.
    • Replace white "" between the words in the descriptions of these lists with an underscore "_". This requires modification of your descriptions of mailing list (s).
    • Upgrade to an earlier version and disable automatic updates (Windows)

Go back to a previous version of Thunderbird and avoid the automatic updates

In Thunderbird Windows updates are automatic by default. In order to avoid similar situations in the future, you could change that and decide to have a more cautious approach to updates.

Before trying what anyone, make a backup of your Thunderbird profile.

You can uninstall the current version of Thunderbird via Control Panel > programs and features and reinstall a previous version, download it from here:

Click the type for your operating system. for example: If you use Windows select "win32", then select the language for example: en-GB British English = then download the .exe file

You can customize the behavior of automatic updates, however, it is under Tools > Options > advanced > update.

My suggestion would be to check the updates but let me choose whether to install them.especially if you depend on critical business e-mail / important or personal questions.

  • Some of function boxes are elongated and may not reach the OK box

original title: Windows Vista - Control Panel customization to enlarge the font size.  Some of function boxes are elongated and may not reach the OK box

Using Windows Vista. I used the customization Panel control to enlarge the font size.  I discovered that some boxes, like Adobe Reader Print and function, in effect, the Personaization (to reduce the font size to original size) require a click OK. But the box frame with large font size, is elongated until I can't get the OK.  How to get to the OK or reduce the size of the police without the OK?

Simply press enter instead of OK.

  • I imported the pic from my camera to my images. When I go into my photos and do turn and then try saving the picture, it says "you cannot rotate this image.

original title: read only the settings on my photos

I imported the photos from my camera to my computer and saved in a folder in my pictures.  When I go into my photos and do turn and then try saving the picture, it says "you cannot rotate this image.  The file may be used or open in another program or file or folder can be set to read only. "I have tried many and repeatedly edit the files and folders to uncheck Read-only, but it keeps changing its property back to read-only.  I also know that the file is not open or in use anywhere on my computer.  There must be something wrong with the parameters of only reading, but I have no idea how to do to figure it out, I tried several times to change.

    Any help would be great!

    Thank you!!

Okay, it looks like that your camera records the files in write protected files.
    1. There should be settings on your cam to stop recording pictures like "non-indexed.
    2. but right now, try this:

Right click on image > click Properties > click on advanced > check / uncheck the ' Index
This file / folder...' option (should be the second option)
Click OK > click on apply.
and you'll see it disappear / appear

You can do this for all the photos (hold down the ctrl key while selecting to choose several files at once)

    Hello

In the menu file-> Place. Go to your image and click in your page of muse. This places the image in the Muse. By default, all images are placed in the context of the Image. Double click on the image to select the image, you will get the options of transformation, expand and collapse according to your requirement to adjust the image in the Image. • Google Image Search shows only one page of results, then the gray boxes

Since several months ago, google search for images watch gray boxes instead of the thumbnails after a random number of thumbnails correctly indicated.

I've seen several posts on the web and several suggestions, but none solved the problem for me (FF 20.0.1, Windows Vista and Windows 7).

Finally, I tracked down the source of the problem and found a workaround:

Looking at the traffic on my firewall (iptables nat) I found this during the loading of an image search result:
    192.168.168.159 - > 74.125.234.226 TLSv1 alert (level: Fatal, Description: unexpected Message)

So, I realized that since there is a time firefox uses https whenever we use google.

The solution is after loading the image (with the gray boxes) search result, just replace the https to http protocol in the browser's address bar. Which loads the remaining without problem images when you scroll to the bottom of the page.

IE does not have the problem because it does not have this redirect. If you load a 'good' search results in Internet Explorer, then replace http with https in the address bar, the same problem occurs in Internet Explorer.

(so, apologize for posting this here, because it's not really a matter of "firefox", but given that most people are complaining that it is, I though it would be a good place for the available information)

Thanks, but as I said, that is done the same if forced to https. I can boot to linux, and FF is the same, like chrome.

So it's not anything related to the cache, cookies, or plugins or even FF FF. It's probably something in the firewall. I just posted it here because other people have been blaming FF for this problem (it is more likely to be seen in FF, because it was google redirect to https for 14.0.1).

  • How can I increase the size of location box and decrease the size of search box? The location was smaller and more small while the search box took the reports.

The location box is so short, I don't see the url I type in, for example "yahoo.com" while the search box is so long that I can type a whole sentence in

Place the mouse pointer between the address bar and the search bar, and it will become an icon of resizing that you can drag to the right or left to adjust the relative size of the two bars.

  • Want TO Sleekbook 6-1090ee: laptop, showing ANOTHER series and model number in the information system

    Hello

I return my HP laptop a few weeks of the repair shop. It worked very well, no lags, virus, etc. So... One day I decided to check the system information to see if my cell phone is compatible to run a game. I was going through the information and I saw this:

System model: laptop HP Envy 4 (SA in FACT 6)

My laptop was showing the serial number some R000000000000 and the registered serial number the back of my laptop is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. Now I'm starting to feel a bit suspicious of what the hell happened to my laptop.

    Laptop: Sleekbook 6-1090ee ENVY

    Any help would be appreciated

    Kind regards

    Magali

(Sorry if my English is bad)

    Hello:

I suggest to contact the repair center and ask them what they were doing to repair your laptop.

From what you wrote, it seems to me like they replaced the motherboard with a used 4 envy, which probably uses the same motherboard as the envy of 6.

The only major difference between the models would be the size of the display screen.

A used replacement motherboard would have a different serial number than the original one provided with your PC.

A repair shop would need a special tool of DMI BIOS HP to change the serial number on the motherboard to match that on the bottom of your PC case.

So, if you are happy with the repair work, they did and the specifications of the system are the same as they were before you sent the PC for repair, I wouldn't be too concerned with matching serial numbers is more.

It could be a problem with the compatibility of your source

  • miniature and help button to the navigation

I would like to start by saying that I am very new to this and work on a portfolio in flash CS4 site and currently getting help through the Lynda.com tutorials. Now my problem is in the portfolio section, I want a preview of the photos as a thumbnail on the bottom with a scroll bar to scroll through all, but at the same time I would like to have buttons to navigate through these photos at the same time. I got to work, the only problem is that I'm using the buttons to navigate but then stop and go to the scroll bar on the bottom and click on the the three of four photos in front of where I left off the coast, to the image loading and fine but when I go back to the buttons he continues off the coast where it left last not where I clicked the scroll bar. Don't know if you can follow this, but if he does not ask questions I have really no idea on how to do this so any help is greatly appreciated.

You must have every change in the value of the variable imageNumber thumbnail when you select in thumbnails.  You can see how it changes when you use the next and previous buttons, but there is nothing to change when you select a thumbnail I can see easily.
