  I guess you mean "Export with previous. If so, open the export page. It will be defined as "precedent".

  Did you check help-> updates to see if they are available? You probably don't have the latest version of Camera Raw that was compatible with Photoshop elements 12 installed.

  I just found out that after effects files can be returned outside the program using the media encoder.  I had been made in after effects of .mov, then open the file in photoshop to render the .mov to a mp4.  Not the process faster, but it worked.  If I use media encoder to make my legacy model would still be able to work in AfterEffects and edit and save the file rendered in media encoding, or it is locked?  I hear also the media encoder is slower than the after effects encoder.  What are the best practices for a comp sequelae which makes a mp4 (h264)?  Thank you...

  Depending on what you do the SOUL can be slower than using index rendering, but that's the only thing that you must use to make H.264 files.

  When you send a model to the SOUL a virtual copy of this composition that is the source for this rendering. You can continue to work on the same computer and additional changes but if you want these changes appears you will need to send this model to the SOUL again after making the changes.

  Almost without exception, I'm working on plans not and certainly never movies sequences in After Effects. My average computer is probably seven seconds, my average film is probably 30 minutes so I use AE to work on plans for effects which cannot be treated in my NLE. I almost always send a model to the SOUL to render a h.264 or a suitable production master, or both, and then I continue working in AE because I can't afford to wait for a rendering time. On almost all of it is the more efficient workflow.

• After effects CC 2015 nightmare > how downgrade and/or do AE?

  I was forced to upgrade to the latest version of After Effects as I wanted import a file to create a customer. Then everything went downhill. After 'successful' upgrade to AE, I started to experience various problems, especially around the user interface which would not I would disable some filters or open folders of content. Then suddenly after importing a new AE file would not display the content at all, everything seems black in composition and in window of sequences, as well as in the preview of an inch of the location of the project. By clicking on play made even the black placeholder disappear. Full damage.

  Start a new project and content of new works loading so it seems that there is a bug in this specific model I have works in or some random setting that makes these things happen.

  In any case, I have wasted many hours on solving problems already and cannot find a way out. I would come down to cc 2014 but even here, I'm having no success.   Mine shows CS6, CC, CC2014, and CC2015 in the pre-installed applications because they are all installed. If I uninstall CS6 for example then I have to go to the bar to find additional applications, click on all the apps to bring up previous Versions of view at the bottom, and then select the view previous versions. Now when I do find that the extra Apps shows previous Version on the right and I see older versions of the applications that I don't have on my system.

  I know it's a little confusing, but most people, click Previous Versions, the second bar, where earlier Versions is on the left and expect to find installers. You will find already installed previous versions there. The user interface on the CC application is not well designed because so many people do not find what they are looking for. To remove previous versions of the default on the latest version of the CC App was, in my opinion, a huge mistake.

  

• After Effects CS6 Crash - Film MXF + Keylight and Color Finesse

  Greetings community AEX,

  I'm pretty used to AEX crashing no aparent reason, but the frequency of the last series is a bit disturbing, and two of the stronger plugins (color of SA Finesse/Keylight) keep crashing when used. I am at a loss to know where to continue troubleshooting.

  
  Question:

  (1) I create a project in Adobe Premiere, and thanks to the Dynamic Link I replace a section of my sequence, by AEX composition.

  1 a) images that we use is MXF - 50mbit 4:2:2 acquired from a Canon XF300.

  (2) I use Color Finesse to adjust the image, the primary and the secondary color correction applied (we're doing chroma key work, and I find secondary helps give me a cleaner key when I can even the Greens)

  (3) I then apply the Keylight 1.2 filter, make the necessary adjustments and try to get an overview of my work in moving the playhead, or launch a RAM Preview.

  
  At this point, After Effects with either crash outright (if I touch the head or try a RAM Preview), or he will wait a few seconds and THEN crash.  HOWEVER, if instead of trying to move the playhead I just save my project and go back to the creation, the composition of the AEX plays very well in my sequence.  He did adjust my extremely difficult settings when I can't use the playhead to watch different images within the AEX.

  
  This question is highly reproducible, to the point where AEX will sometimes crash when trying to load the project file.  This is clearly struggling with the previews.

  Steps taken to solve (without success)

  -Restart the PC, delete the temporary files, check disk space, updates

  -J' tried to reset all default settings (CTRL + ALT + SHIFT), tried to clear all the cache/db, changed the location of the cache/db

  -Tried opening and creating a project outside dynamic links

  -System restart/graphics driver check

  -Curse to the computer

  -Turn off made in settings of the AEX, GPU switching CPU

  System Specs:

  -Recently reloaded my system clean installed Windows/Adobe, conducted all software/OS updates and generally little to the config which could cause a problem.

  -Intel Corei7 960 12 GB of ram

  -nVidia Quadro 4000

  -Intel 256 GB SSD + WD Black 2 TB.

  -Cache and previews are stored on the SSD,

  
  I am at a loss to know where to start or go here for troubleshooting more far.  The forums are so clogged with others experincing blocks in AEX (perhaps because only Adobe rushes their development cycles and explosions early software...), it is difficult to find something similar to what I am experincing.  Reloading of programs is an option, but uninstall, download and reinstallation is a pain, and I want this to be a last resort.

  Before you uninstall and reinstall once more, try this test first: transcode some of his problem for a codec lossless bindings.  I recommend the PNG Quicktime codec.  Then apply effects to them again in AE to see what is happening.

  The reason for this: your MPEG2 camera recordings.  It is not a true intermediate codec and compression is a group of images, rather than a single image.  The combination of Keylight and Color Finesse can be give AE fits.

  For this anthropomorphize, AE like to think image by image, but MPEG2 forces AE to think backwards and forwards over several frames, and it can be to revolt on you.  I hope you enjoy the technical jargon.

• Vista crashes after using it for a few minutes and then does not start (after a few hours - it starts and again the same problem)

  I'll have this weird problem and did not find the problem. Suddenly my laptop (Lenovo Y710 - 4 GB RAM - Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit) crashes after a few minutes of activity, Vista freezes. CTRL + Alt + Delete does not work. If I force close to the bottom and then try to restart, it do display anything. I tried to start in safe mode, but after pressing f8 and it only beeps and still doest appear anyting on screen you. If I try to start the laptop after a few hours it starts again and minutes it freezes again. I noticed this problem for the first time when using RDP to my desktop, but it wasn't the first time I've done RDP. I have not installed new hardware or drivers. Am not able to nail the question, would appreciate any help.

  This is no doubt hardware failure. The laptop could be overheating and/or other components could be involved. Contact Lenovo technical support or take to a competent local computer Tech do not use a type of BigComputerStore/GeekSquad of the place.

  If you have a pretty good level of computer skills, you can test some components yourself although it is more difficult to make accurate material on a laptop computer troubleshooting.
