  Hey guys, I'm having a problem with Cinema 4 d in AE.  I have a simple cube with a few textures I use in a model.  I had to work before when I was building the first installation for the customer.  Now that the customer likes it, I'm moving forward. Added some details and animation to the cube and now the grid lines are showing in After Effects, whatever the options of 4 d cinema that I am applying.  I can't understand it, and I hope for more help.

  I googled the problem using as many different ways to the problem statement I can and have not found a satisfactory answer.  The only answers I've seen online are linking to this article:

  So, for someone else who might have this problem, I'll post the solution to my particular situation:

  In addition to rendering in C4d in AE plugin configuration set to '(Final) Standard", I have done, it is also necessary to have the value 'Standard' within the C4d himself rendering engine.  This can be consulted in Render > change settings rendering, and in the upper left corner, angle of the window is the option 'Renderer' with a menu drop down beside him.  Make sure that it is set to the standard.  I got it on hardware, which seemed to be the cause of the problem,

I noticed that the files DO NOT have a logo on them and my computer does not recognize the file type. Is it possible to update from Cinema 4 d or updates as After Effects update because I feel like this could be the problem.

  CPU - Intel i7 - 6700 k @ 4.00 GHz

  The editor Lite Cinema 4 d does not open of in After Effects. I am able to create new files of MAXON Cinema 4 d from the file > new menu and comes from the file > export menu. I am able to use cinema 4 d effect on a layer to display a file 'c4d' next to a composition. But when I click on Edition > edit the Original option of a '.cd4' drop my mouse icon changes to "pending" for a second, as if he's going to open something, but then nothing happens.

  I'm trying to find tutorials on how to create a character and he rigging in Cinema 4 d with After Effects plugin r16. I'm not even sure you can I'm new to Cinema 4 d and all I found are those to the R13. The problem I have is that some of the features that I can't find in the movie Lite. Any help would be great.   You will need the full version of C4d to have access to the tools of rigging. C4D Lite that comes with AE is very limited in it's tools of modeling and animation...

On the Apps page I selected and downloaded After Effects, but meanwhile, I realized that I had a trial version of CS6 on my mac, so I deleted the folder. Thus, the Application Manager told me that AE is installed and ready but I have had no file on my mac.   Bad idea. After Effects is not software editing. You want to Premiere Pro for editing of a film. That's much, much, much better at home because that's what it's designed to do. When it comes to Visual effects, compositing and motion graphics, so you must use After Effects to these tasks.

  An i5 will work to launch After Effects. The clock speed of the processor will make a big difference in the AE speed makes things.

  What are the 3d effects you plan to use? There could be several things that you hear here.

  If you're talking about ray-traced rendering introduced in CS6 engine, I would advise against using it. She is considered obsolete by the After Effects team and I don't know any people who used it professionally.

  If you're talking about the substitute continually improve the ray-traced rendering engine (the inclusion of Cinema 4 d with your subscription to After Effects), the GPU is not relevant. C4D renders on the CPU.

  If you talk about AE own 3d space (which is technically 2.5 d), the GPU is not relevant AE makes it only on the processor.

  If you talk about third-party plugins as item 3d, 3d Zaxwerks Invigorator, Shapeshifter of the courage, etc., you will need to check on their needs.

  If you have after effects CC 2015, then you have a subscription with Adobe which includes AE CS6, CC, CC 2014, 2015 CC and next version of After Effects coming out for as long as you are subscribed.

  If you only subscribe single-app for After Effects, just get the regular subscription to creative cloud. It's cheaper than to make two single-app subscriptions and it includes After Effects, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Audition, SpeedGrade, Illustrator, Muse, Animate, Dreamweaver and many other professional programs like that.

  If you want to do video editing, you'll want to have Premiere Pro. After effects is ideal for animations, compositing and effects Visual, but it's TERRIBLE editing. Premiere Pro, use for this!

  Is no longer supported. You must export your Photoshop 3D object to an obj file and then put it in a project lite C4D for use in After Effects.
