  Hey all, I have the following problem.
  I have Satellite L40 series 2 PC and tried to install vista ultimate 32 bit, and they freeze only on the process of "complete installation."

  As far as I know that all new models of Toshiba laptops come with Vista 32 bit. Satellite L40 is offered in three different models, and each one also comes with 32-bit operating system. If you have the recovery DVDs with your laptop is Vista 32 - bit OS. I assume it must be the Home Premium version.

  Sorry, but it is not easy to say what you need to do. You have your opinion and your own priorities. Inform you about all the models available and make a decision. Don't buy something if you're not 100% sure that you want it to be.

  I have 2 questions about my P10-554. I read on this forum but can't find anything that helps out me.

  When I try to turn the unit off after working, using even the closing of xp function or the power button, windows normally quit, but when it needs to turn off just reboot again. If I repeat the closing down directly after this restart, normally it turns off.
  This problem occur only when I use the power supply in battery mode.
  I can't say that to me...

  I have a mini PCI Wlan card for my unit, works very well, but I wonder if it is possible to get the Wlan switch switch work whith it? Or is it only possible whith some special maps? It is not so important, but it would be nice to know if there is a trick or something to get the switch used.

  Usually, if I use the Shut down option, I can choose between standby, hibernation, restart and shutdown. If I use the stop that the laptop turns off as it should.
  Maybe it's time to s for a reinstallation of the OS?

• Question about support for LabVIEW DLLS and Unicode

  1. I noticed that there is a merged error fed the "start task" sub VI for the analog output.  What is the point of fusion to mistake?

  However, in the example, the author has been reading outside of the loop and before even the start task. What difference will it make?

  3. I have also attached my synchronized VI. I always put the wavegeneration and the DAQmxwrite in the loop. A bulging guard error saying about samples is not available and needs to a higher sampling rate or a longer wait time. What causes this?

• Questions about Satellite P200D battery charging

  Hi all
  I bought my satellite in March 2008, and after some initial problems with the result having replaced, I have finally been sorted and have had very few problems since. However, in recent days, this is all changed. My battery is now practically refusing to load and run not power off. At the moment its operation off power supply and load, but for the past hour its been hurtling battery.

  What going on it when I plug in the AC adapter, the light making goes blue and seeing power begins blue and flashing orange (constantly between the two colors) and the battery light flashes orange. The HARD drive light is also blue.

  I don't know if the problem is the battery or another problem with the power actually do to the computer. The fact that it fits as being plugged in all time leads me to believe that the power adapter is not the issue, while its battery not wanting to take new service charges, or another issue with the laptop not properly in the face of the power to be.

  Someone at - it ideas? I scoured google and have not been able to find anything on this problem. I bought the laptop through Curry, but I don't want to pay a pound and a half a minute to talk to The Tech Guys, when they most likely wasting time asking me if I rebooted it.

  Looks like there could be a hardware problem. Take it to an ASP for warranty repair.

• Question about 6674 t FlexRIO 7966R and Module AT - 1120 FAM DSTARA

  I'm trying to provide a clock of 125 MHz by the 6674 t the bottom of basket DDS output to power the clock DSTARA the SMU-7966R and then the module adaptation AT1120 as the clock of the DAC.

  I'm currently using a modified version of the AT-1120 Getting Started project (https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-26331) and have the Adapter Module set to take an internal clock and from FPGA clock as specified in the AT-1120 user manual:

  For my FlexRIO 7966R I have the toplevel clock set to the defautl 40 MHz onboard clock. I cannot use an external clock for this:

  For simplicty sake, I am trying to feed the DSTARA clock using the test panel in NI Max with 6674T as follows. Becuase my FPGA is in slot 2 on the 1085 Chassis, I am feeding the 125 MHz DDS frequency to PXIe_DStarA6 based on the PXIe-1085 user manuel (http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/373712e.pdf) specified timing DStar lines:

  Hello!

  There are three things that I think that in the combination will solve this problem.

  1.) can not included it in your screenshots, but there is an extra step you need to do to use the DSTAR. The bitfile you are using must be respected with a parameter that indicates the FlexRIO use the signal DSTARA.

  1. Right click on the Module adaptation of your project and select Properties
  2. Go to the category details
  3. Make sure that "PXIe_DStarA" is selected in the section "IoModSyncClock".
  4. If it is checked, then you have probably already chosen it and compiled your bitfile. If it is not selected, or you are not sure if you have compiled the adjustment, re - compile your Bitfile.

  2.) also, what you see was a known problem that has been fixed in Active Techonologies (AT) last software update (version 1.8). While I'm not 100% certain, I don't think the example started to get has been updated so that it includes all the screws of the ATs software update. Similarly, the bitfiles provided with this sample would have not generated with the CLIP included in the latest version of the software.

  I suggest the following:

  1. Download the latest version of the software (version 1.8) AT their site
  2. Use the example that comes with their software to confirm that you can clock at DSTARA
  3. Update of our example started to use the latest version of the software. (generate new bitfies, replace the old screw in the directory of the project with new screws)
  4. Confirm your new works for example.

  3.) generate a signal from 125 MHz of the 6674 t, not 124,98 MHz. The material is expected a 125 MHz signal.
