  I'm subscribed to creative cloud Adobe for Adobe After effects. I did install it and when I try to open AE it gives me an error reading this: the application could not start correctly (0xc0000142). Now, I tried installing and reinstalling 3 times.  I am running Windows 10 on my PC. It's an HP with an AMD Athlon (TM) II x 4 820 processor 2.80 GHz 8.00 GB Ram and 64-bit operating system.   but after the uninstall, clean through the use of the Adobe Creative Cloud cleaning tool to solve installation problems , then reinstall.

  Hi iamjayakumars - I was not able to create a new profile, because the Profile Manager does not open. A message from Norton seems "Updater.exe is sure.", but nothing else would happen.
  But - the links you sent were very helpful, and I was able to solve the problem by making a UN-installing and then re - install Firefox:
  1. backup of the profile.
  2. download the installer of Firefox from Mozilla.org with another browser.
  3. un-install Firefox from the control panel (ensuring "Delete my personal Firefox and customizations data" was NOT selected.)
  4 reinstall Firefox.
  Firefox starts successfully with all my old settings and all the tabs I had open the last time it was used appeared as I had hoped.

  Solve your problem

  Because you can obviously use the UI to update or reset your PC I would suggest that you run the command line equivalent as follow:

  • [Win] + R
  • Type SystemReset * or SystemReset - factoryreset * + [Enter]

  * SystemReset = refresh your PC; SystemReset - factoryreset = reset your PC

  I need to update on my creative cloud but my application manager does not open. I tried in the drop down menu and all I get is the spinning wheel, indicating it to load. When I try to my Doc nothing icon it bounces then nothing happens. I am unable to access and part of the CC in the menu dropdown. So far, all my apps work fine, but I would like to make the updates before they get glitch.

  Please, try the following steps, assuming it is a MAC:

  (1) open the activity monitor and Force leave Adobe CEF Helper creative cloud, Adobe CPI broker & Crash Deamon if they are available.

  (2) try to open it, if does not work then go to Applications > Adobe Creative cloud > right click > Get Info > click the Add > select the user to which you are connected to > give read and write access.

  (3) if it works then enable the root user and the launch to date, visit this link on how to activate/sign in to the user root activation and using the user 'root' in Mac OS X

  This is not a configuration which After Effects CS6 will use for the GPU of the 3D rendering engine acceleration traced to the RADIUS.
