• Microsoft Photo Editor - cannot enlarge the image

  I use Photo Editor with Microsoft Windows XP Microsoft 2002 and cannot enlarge a photo and zoom in and zoom out.  When I go to open a file and enlarge, I get a message saying "error reading file".  I noticed that this only happens if the photo was taken with a digital camera, namely, Nikon Coolpix L20.  I have no problem, expand and resize a picture taken with a 35mm camera.  The two images are JPEG.  Can someone tell me why this happens and what to do to solve the problem?

  2289162 MSKB article indicates that the graphics
  filters have been updated to versions November 16, 2010.

  That could very well be what caused incompatibility

• Problems with the Windows on Windows 7 Photo Viewer, cannot open the picture

  Good evening!

  I can't open a few photos that I downloaded from my digital camera's SD card.  They are all in the same folder, and they are all JPEG.  Some of them are open very well, but there are MANY who are not open and I get the message: 'Windows Photo Viewer cannot open this photo because Photo Viewer does not support this file format, or you do not have the latest updates for Photo Viewer. "  As I said, they are all JPEG, as well as the Windows Photo Viewer is already set as my default Photo Viewer.   When I opened the window of the picture viewer I have not been invited for updates.

  I don't understand why some of my photos to shoot to the top of fine and the rest don't pull up at all.   Where will ensure that I have the latest update?  You have any other suggestions?

  Looks like there are probably good copies elsewhere then... I was worried, you might well have lost some of your photos, and it is always better to access the card and copy and paste the files (and then check that they are ok) before using the software download and the removal from the Board. If the files have been corrupted somehow during the transfer process, they can still be recoverable in respect of the SD card using something like the free version of "recuva" providing that the SD card has not been re-used and previous files overwritten by new material. However, if your sister still photos as well which should not be necessary.

  I don't think this is likely to be a problem with the photo viewer, but let us know when you received that email... all the best - Ric.

• Cannot set the picture password after deleting e-mail coporate - RT of Windows account

  I added my e-mail account to company for the e-mail application integrated and told me that the security settings would change and I knew.  Basically, the company policy was a strong password and the password for the photo, and the PIN password found himself distraught.    I was fine with that but I have now deleted the account of the company of my account yet the photo and password PIN create buttons are always disabled, and I was not able to reactivate them outside of a complete reinstallation of the operating system.

  I looked and see only problem with a Surface attached to a domain, but which relate to me as I am with the Surface/Windows RT which cannot be joined to a domain.  I tried but some register with no luck.

  Someone point me in the right direction on how to recover the ability to use the picture password.

  You can reset the security policies by visiting Office

  Access control Panel\User and familyuser accounts Safety\ accounts

  On the left side, you will see "reset security policies" link.

  Click reset security policies , and then click OK in the confirmation box.

  You should now be able to configure the picture passwords again.

• Enlarge the picture in the workspace to change

  How do I click and drag the corner of the picture to expand it beyond the workspace to change?  The use of the browser, I can enlarge the image, but am not able to view the part of the picture in the workspace, not the whole thing.  When editing, I need to see the whole picture and its edges. I could do in the earlier versions, but not 10. What I am doing wrong? I am an old user of photoshop elements 8 7.  I'm ready to scream.  Thank you.

  First of all, in Edit > Preferences > general check the option 'floating '.

  Now your image will be separated from the user interface and you can slide out, or even maximize to fill the entire screen (although it's usually better with a dual monitor set up)

• Have a box of HP update; too small and click the update installation, cannot enlarge the box button install access, can not enlarge the box.

  How can I get rid of or access to a box to update from HP that I am unable to read entirely and also unable to extend the size of box click the button install. Cannot drag the box in the trash. Anyone know how to remove the box?

  To close the box, click on the red button X in the upper right corner of it.

  Size of the box is in it was due to a glitch. It happens from time to time and will probably not repeat.

• Other homegroup users cannot see the pictures on Windows Photo 8.1 app

  We have a new desktop computer with Windows 8.1 and have trouble getting both me (Administrator) and my husband (another user PC) see all photos in all photo sharing folders. I read all the other assignments. I've restored the library of images with and without pictures, worked both file manager and control panel to verify that all the State say shared and two of us are included in the homegroup.  Libraries appear as files in the home group, but on the side admin (my own) photos of my husband picture library are only pictures in his personal file of photo. My two files contain only the ones I'm trying to make him see.

  However, when I view the photos on his side or my app, I don't see is our personal photos and not the other. I don't want to copy the pictures in each of our own files that we both should be able to change and move images. All images must be shared and edited and stored in a spot on the disk.

  Troubleshooting-oth sides indicate that everything goes well on both sides. Please help me shoot hard.

The first time that you connect to a network, you can ask if you want to find computers, devices and content on the network and automatically connect to devices such as printers and TVs. turn on this parameter prepares your PC to share files and devices on a network. It automatically sets the firewall and security settings appropriate for the type of network to which you connected. You can disable this option at any time.

• Windows cannot find the pictur error ~ 1.exe

  Windows cannot find pictur ~ 1.exe error, when you click ok then pictur ~ 2.exe cannot be found, and then click ok and imagev ~ 1.exe is not found. Happen sporatically throughout the day and the error messages inspire each other to end up with dozens of the same error message in the task bar. There is no pictur ~ 1.exe in msconfig. You need to determine how to make this error go away, or which is looking for this program, or to all the less determine where it is sought.

  Although I always think you should ask the help of expert antimalware, if you want to dig a little deeper on your own, here are 3 ideas, neither has no guarantee of success:

  1. take a look in the event viewer (start > run > eventvwr > OK) and see if error messages are displayed that give the name of the routine which tries to launch these exe files.

  2. learn to use the process monitor (and, perhaps, Process Explorer).  These are powerful tools, and the learning curve is a bit steep.  I can't help you here.  See the links in the sidebar or the other of the two pages linked above.  You can start by watching the video here.

  3. in association with the use of Process Monitor, create an exe file with the name that appears in your error message and save it in a folder that is in your path (for example, C:\Windows).  You can make a copy of an existing such as Notepad.exe exe file and rename it to picture ~ 1.exe or create an exe of your own by using a tool like ExeScript.  If you get real ambitious, you might learn a little windows script (for example, this tutorial) and have your exe file displays the name of the process that called it (again, to help you with this is beyond my skills).

  If you try one of these ideas and are able to go to the bottom of your problem, please post back with the details so that others (especially me) can learn.

  Just a guess but maybe some type of popup stopper prevents
  pictures of the loading. If you hold down your CTRL key when you click on the
  Vignette it should substitute a pop up Cap if it is the problem.

• Cannot rotate the pictures in the photo gallery from the iPhone 4S and sent as a jpeg attached

  I got jpeg pictures in the friends iPhone 4S emails.  I save all the photos of my library of images, pc windows 7.  Some are upright; No problem.  Some are on the side.  When I try to turn, some will turn, but most will not.  A screen comes up saying that the Windows Photo Viewer cannot save changes to this picture because there is a problem with the properties of the image file.  Saw this screen of the error 0 x 80070057.  Read that others have the same problem.  Some people talk about Meta-data, but for a novice, a detailed explanation is necessary.  Some recommend steelbytes to download so-called stripper; again, to a more detailed novice is necessary.  Someone please respond with a step by step detailed solution to this problem, even at every stage of a download.

• Cannot display the pictures of products on certain Web sites, why?

  While in some sites to see their products, I click on the product and the text comes up, no picture of the product just an empty space. I also tried to get my box of recipes through another site and the page is completely blank. The homepage of these sites is fine, photos and everything, but when I open a link in the site is when I get pictures spaces and pages. This happens only when I use Firefox, but I tried Internet Explorer and had the same results. No idea why?

• Cannot open the pictures library after the data transfer to my new macbook

  I transferred all my data from my old MacBook Air to my new MacBook Pro via a restore from time machine.

  My first time to open my library on my News Photos Photos of MacBook says that he must perform the restore procedure (see screenshot in German language).

  

  After the confirmation of this message Photos responds with a message telling me that it can't open the library (see screenshot in German language). The message to distinguish basically says Photos tried to fix the library, but it was impossible to open it.

  

  Any ideas that I could do to fix this problem?

• Cannot open the picture book project

  I started a Photo Book project and got to half way through. I then tried to add a picture more to the project. Could not find out how to import an additional photo. But then I tried ebb in the book project, and can't open it same. It gives the same error message each time. See below. Any ideas? Thank you.
