After I imported my illustrator in legacy files, each layer is 2 images in length

Hi, guys, after I import my into legacy illustrator files, each layer remains 2 images in length and I can't drag them up to become longer than that. Has anyone ever encountered this problem and how can I solve this problem? Thank you!Screen Shot 2015-12-08 at 4.37.00 AM.png

Delete the project file, and then import your Illustrator file again but this time make sure that the sequence box is empty.

  • Import of Illustrator in InDesign files

I have a question that is more an annoyance than a problem. I put announcements of meetings in Illustrator and then place them in my InDesign template. Instead of 4.75 "x 5,375" advertising placement in a space of 4.75 "x 5,375", I get the announcement and the edge of the blue frame surrounding the announcement. The problem is when I want to precisely place the ad using InDesign. If I want the border of the advertising to be placed right at 0 and 0, I can't do that InDesign puts in place the edge of the image to 0-9 and the border of the ad can be. 1 "or. 2 "inside the edge of the image. I can hide on the image, but this does not solve the problem. Is there a way to make the edge image exactly the same as my ad borders? I made that there are no stray marks in Illustrator files before placing them in InDesign.

Display Options, when implemented, the Crop Bounding box value or cut according to the announcement

  • Import of adobe illustrator in powerpoint files. (Vector)

How can I import vector Illustrator in Powerpoint files, so I can change them later. I tried PDF (does not), WMF breacks upward and updated text on the scale makes text shit!

    EPS looks like garbage.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

During the creation of PP presentations I create the vector, and then import that Photoshop and export from there as. PNG using Active generator, or you can export .png straight out of Illy.

To facilitate this, I would use the first option that when you make a change to the vector that it will update the .png file, and then you just update (change image) image in PP once edited.

  • How to import Adobe Illustrator to After Effects files?

    Hello

I had traced a file of animation in Adobe Illustrator with 8 layers, each representing an animation/drawing.

I tried to import to After Effects, but the drawing does not appear.

Someone tell me what I'm doing wrong; Why the drawings are not appear on the screen After Effects?

I did a video of it here:

    Jae

Your drawing is black, and so is your background.  Change the background color of model, or toggle the display of the transparency grid button...

  • Import from Illustrator to After Effects

    Hello

I can't import an Illustrator file into After Effects. The project of the Illustrator has seven layers. Import the file by selecting import into After Effects > name of file > import as composition by keeping the dimensions of the layer.

In the timeline panel, there are 7 Illustrator layers, however, all the things on the other layers seem to have moved to the top layer because it is the only layer that controls anything; opacity, position etc.

    Anyone know what is happening?

    See you soon

Your description sounds like not create you layers in Illustrator.  You need to do.

You probably just have a layer of 1 of your Illustrator document.  You create layers 2-7, moving things in each layer, and it is also good rename each layer with something that makes sense.  Hardcore artists Illustrator blow that right away.  In the case of a human body, they would be the eye right, where eye, head, torso, right arm, left arm, right foot, left foot.  Just double-click on the name of the current layer and re - nominate away.

I'm trying to import and backup/restore/Choose file... / after backup correctly and I see the file, but there is no JSON extension. What can I do?

I backed up my favorites using 'import and backup/Backup' on an external HD, installed Windows 10 and went to restore my bookmarks and noticed the file named "Firefox bookmarks-2015-09-04"had no extension and does not work."

Please advise! Thank you! Sincerely, s

If you add the .json extension, it works then? Why people who design browsers or extensions them do create files with no extension name, in spite that these extension names are essential to make the files can be restored? I could never understand that.

After you import an image (.jpeg) file for the Photos on my Mac app, can I safely delete this image file to save space on my hard drive?

Yes, you can remove the file from the imported image, if you have imported the image as managed.  IE preferences in ave Photos settled on "import: copy items to the photo library" being the default.

  • Office loses datebook categories after export & import the file dba.

    Hello

After reading a lot of posts, I can't find any that have reported a similar problem, so here it is.  Office loses datebook categories after export & import of a file of dba.  I use Palm Desktop by Access v6.2.2 and a Verizon Centro.  This problem has nothing to do with the synchronization.  I just exported my calendar of events in a DBA file, import the same file and all event categories have been set to "unclassified".  Is this a known bug, or perhaps, the s/n file includes no category information?

I'm really curious to know if the dba file (archive date?) contains information catergory.

    Thanks in advance,

    CentroIllinois.

    Hello!

A bit of a limitation of Palm Desktop.  Before you import the file s/n, manually add the category nanes via change categories and then try again to import the file dba.  Due the category names must be exactly the same spelling and spacing as before when they were exported.

  • Import native Illustrator files in Indesign with a scale factor applied

    Hi all

Everyone already knows what follows with the suite CS4:

A scale planned, applied to the content of the window containing a file imported from Illustrator (.ai) native.

The scale comes at a time where ever the .ai file is imported. Its usually a reduction to a very small percentage is therefore generally not visually noticeable.

My team tells me that it is a random event that happens quite often and is well known among them. I'm a bit wary as I do not

been able to reproduce the problem myself.

I did a little research on the 'Net' Bust did not encounter any related information.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

According to the crop options used during import (media, culture box, bounding box, etc.) and, possibly, the version of illustrator used originally to make the .eps and those used for conversion (there was a change in the way that art that falls outside the limits of the page is run, but I don't remember if it was Illy or ID , and if no editing at all has been made, the size of the image can change if the limit has changed.

Preference to preserve the dimensions to recreate a link can also be a factor.

  • Get a legacy file for Muse

I've created an animation in After Effects, without realizing it at the time, that I should have used edge animate.

I now have it enter in Edge animate so I can use it in Muse.

    How can I do this?

    Open your legacy file.

Export to a video file (mp4, avi, etc.).

Open it with Adobe encoder support

Insert the ASP (after effect project) that you have created

    Open edge animate

Import your file into edge animate (file > import)

    Add.

go to file > publishing settings

Make sure that the only check mark in the column named "Publish the target" is "Animate the Deployment Package"

    Save the settings

    Publish.

Go to the folder where your .oam file. (example... C:\users\USER\Documents\(folder from Edge Animate) \publish\ (file name (Folder))

drag it to your site (Muse)

    FACT!... it should work

  • How to import from Illustrator with layers at the same place?

Hey guys, when I import Illustrator files and import them as images to preserve layers, I get an object for each layer. However, when I move these layers in my computer, they either moved by default to the Center or everywhere where I drop them. How would I move into the model while maintaining the position of the layers in my file to have real?

Just open the computer that is created when you import a file WAS in the form of composition. You do the work yourself.

You do not understand how After Effects treats assets. Each active element is the size of the asset with the anchor in the Center. Keep the sizes of layer means that each layer of the Illustrator file is imported into a folder as a separate asset of the size of the layer. It's the same thing with Photoshop files imported as a composition.

  • Need advice from a pro - 3D and Illustrator CS5 AE files annimation

I'm using CS5 and I systematically use an Illustrator file in product videos that I'm trying to change, and I would like to add features to the video, but I can't seem to find answers to what I assumed that would be a pretty common situation.

I want to add depth to the logos (3D) files and animate for the intro to the video. I came to the conclusion that After Effects is the best solution for animation, I can then import into Premiere Pro timeline. Assuming the above is correct, I'm having a hard time to find how to import these Illustrator files in After Effects, and whether it is an ideal environment in which to create the 3D file. There are of course options 3D in Illustrator, and then there are options in Photoshop and once again in After Effects and Premiere Pro. I don't know where to start with that, and treat all resources I saw how to do this with text, but not with an existing Illustrator file.

So my question is, what don't recommend this as the best method of manufacturing pros Illustrator files into a 3D object that can be animated in After Effects or Premiere Pro. I am not in a position to buy a plugin to simplify the process (Zaxwerks doesn't have a compatible version of CS5 yet anyway) so I'm curious to know what would be the best way to achieve these effects using CS5 software and existing features. All links to the resources that address this specific issue would also be much appreciated.

Well, your best bet would be to copy & paste the paths to Photoshop, then regrowth can add depth, color / textures it and add light and then import the PSD 3D resulting in AE. is not glorious and fitted with a number of problems of performance and other obstacles, but the best solution if you don't want to spend the extra money or go through the process of learning a program entirely in 3D...
