• Problems after update 2015.2.1

  Lightroom was works well, but now questions have serious after put 2015.2.1 to date. Earlier I went to the start screen "about Lightroom" to check the version and the slpash won't go away. Then I tried to quit smoking, and LR is only suspended. I tried to restart my computer and purge the caches of photo and video of LR. Basically, the problem is that I get crashes where LR is incredibly slow or unresponsive.

  Any ideas how to solve this problem? Should I post this elsewhere?

  > Click on the performance tab

  > Turn off the processor use chart

  > Reboot the machine

  b. at the command prompt, type the following and press ENTER after each line:

  Looks like the files in the folder "Software Distribution" are damaged, try to rename the folder.

  step 1: open the 'Services '.
  > Click Start > type "Services.msc" > hit ENTER > search for "Windows Update" service > right-click on it and click on 'Stop' (if it is not already stopped).

  Step 2: rename the Catroot2 folder.
  > Open computer > folder "C:\windows" goto > search for "Software Distribution" folder > right click on it and click "Rename" (add ".old" to the end)

  Step 3: restart the "Windows Update" Service.

  Step 4: restart the computer.

  Step 5: check the Windows updates.

  Let me know if it worked. :-)

  The file alone is not enough to reproduce the error. If you choose 'Cancel' when the update links dialog box appears, the crash continue to experience? If this isn't the case, please discovers the active panel and look for the outdated links. (Click on the alert triangle icon in the column header to sort the active panel by State link.)

  Please send me the files for all the broken links so I can try to reproduce and isolate the cause of this error (both to fix it for a future release and to find a reliable solution for you). Thank you.
