After upgrading to FF 6.0, Yahoo mail seems faded and blotchy and is unusable, but it works fine using IE and Chrome.

A few days ago I upgraded to FF 6 and Yahoo mail has become blurred and very washed out, so that it was unusable. I went back to FF 5 and it worked fine. For the heck of it, I just tried FF 6 again and the problem is still there, so I'm back to version 5 again. I have a screenshot of what it looked like if this will help.

  • Login Yahoo mail says Firefox do not accept the cookies, but my option is as cookies - so what's the problem?

My wife and I can not connect to our Yahoo email accounts (or, I suppose, our Yahoo account). Whenever we try, we get the message: "the browser you're using refuses to sign in (cookies rejected).

However, my cookies in Firefox is: 1) accept cookies 2) accept cookies third party 3) keep cookies until they expire.

There are a few days, I changed the cookie settings for 1) accept third-party cookies) 2 do not accept cookies 3) ask each time. I've also removed a lot of cookies I does not recognize or didn't want to. I did this because I was (and still am) having problems with a redirect virus.

So if anyone has any suggestions as to what needs to make accessible e-mail still Yahoo, I would much appreciate their advice.

I thank everyone for their advice in advance.

    Thank you 1 million.

Hello gkerby1952, please try all the steps mentioned in the Web sites say cookies are blocked - pledge.

In addition, if you encounter problems with redirection adware, I would recommend removing the Slick saves 2.6 & SoundFrost 3.7.0 extensions you have installed currently. also, go to the windows control panel / programs and remove all toolbars or potentially unwanted software from there and run a full scan of your system with the security software you have in place and various other tools such as the free version of malwarebytes & adwcleaner.

  • After upgrading to IOS 9.1 my iPad2 crashes constantly and Safari takes more than 30 seconds for the loading of the page.  When Apple will solve these problems, given that the downgrade isn't possible?

After that the IOS upgraded to 9.1 on my iPad 2, the unit has switched navigation performance and each app is lagging, and then crashes the device, to be hard restarts.  Changing such settings recommended in many articles does not improve these problems of performance or speed.  Given that the downgrade is possible, when Apple will release 9.2 to solve all these problems of performance?

These are performance problems widespread in the complaints I've seen on many articles, even in this community and discussion forums.

    Uh, no.

iPad 2 questions are far from "widespread".

Each user who has problems with their brand of Apple devices claimed that their problems are widespread disaster.

users of iPad 2, 3 and 4, like me, don't post troubleshooting forums if their iOS/updates updates update succeeded.

Here are my updated list of corrections suggested for a model slow iPad 2, 3 or 4.

Try to reset all the settings in the settings under general app and in the right column under restore.

Try stories reset and delete/reset the caches in all web browsers you use.
If you use Safari, these features may be in the application settings under Safari.
Other browsers have their settings inside the running application itself.

If your iPad has been activated for iCloud, in the application settings under iCloud, to the right, under iCloud Drive, type in iCloud drive and make sure that Safari is off to save data from Safari to iCloud by car.

Also, under iCloud in the application settings, in iCloud Drive, turn the feature off saving for all other desired apps DO NOT the data automatically on iCloud drive.

If you are using Safari is always causing issues.
Try changing / using web browser third another, different.
I do not use iOS Safari too much more because I found it cause me headaches on some Web sites, regularly, to visit.
I commonly use another third party browser, perfect browser (there are others that can suit your style better web browsing, so look all first to see what third-party browser may work better for you) and I have never experience many questions that Safari was originally.

In the application settings tab general, right under the spotlight sesrch, try disable the search under the applications who really don't need a research, as some games, remote controls, apps that are really useless to be searched, etc., in order to reduce the list to Spotlight search.

Try to turn the reduced movement.
This is found in the application of settings in the general tab, in the left panel.
In the right panel, look under accessibility, look to reduce the Motion and turn this feature "On".
You should see a significant performance increase on all models of iPad 2, 3 and 4.

In the application settings under the general tab, in the right column, search background App update and enable this setting to "off".

Try a reset of your iPad by simultaneously pressing buttons Home and sleep/wake button until your iPad goes to the dark and restarts with the Apple logo, then release the buttons.

  • Windows Mail doesn't load/connect. Tried troubleshooting, but nothing works.

My windows email account does not, connect even though I have access to the internet.   I have reset the router/modem, but don't know enough to do much else.  This is the error message I get:

The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'windows mail', server: 'pop.telus.net', Protocol: POP3, Port: 995, secure (SSL): Yes, Socket error: 10061, error number: 0x800CCC0E

1: has this ever work? Windows Mail is the name of the account? (It's weird).

2: connect directly to the modem. Not better?

3: disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the CPUs, slows down sending and receiving and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs, account setting changes and has even been responsible for the loss of messages. • Since the upgrade to V31.0 why my sessions connect to various Web sites, like yahoo mail, cancel - sometimes after only a few minutes?

After login to yahoo mail, facebook, flickr and possibly other sites, my sessions are ends prematurely. It wasn't a problem with the latest versions of Firefox. This isn't a problem with IE9, but I prefer to use Firefox. I run anti-malware, but which did not find any problem. Any suggestions how to fix?

I noticed that you have Firefox set to automatically start in private browsing mode. You use this setting in your previous version of Firefox?

Could test you with Advanced SystemCare surf off Protection? You can set the page modules. Either:

    • CTRL + SHIFT + a
    • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

In the left column, click Extensions. If it requires a restart to take effect, Firefox should display a link for it.

Also, could you, check your connection here:

"3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Options > advanced > tab mini network > button "settings".

The default setting is "Use system proxy settings" but don't try "No proxy" and see if that helps.

  • I can't open the images in Yahoo mail with 7 Firefox, but IE works.

After several years of success with Yahoo mail and Firefox, I can longer open mail of Yahoo (jpg, bmp) images. I can open them in gmail with Firefox or IE. I can open them in Yahoo mail using IE. I am running Firefox 7.0.1 and I think, but am not sure, all my trouble started after the update to this version of Firefox.

RESOLVED: Here is the solution to "I can't open the images in Yahoo mail with 7 Firefox, but IE works." Just before I log on my E-mail Yahoo site I turn on cookies, but I never enable third-party cookies. That has always worked very well until October 2011. Just after I installed the new Firefox 7 this problem started. Now I just found out that the problem is solved, if I enable cookies from third party. Users should not have to enable cookies from third party read the Yahoo mail via Firefox!

  • Message "Connection not secure" HTTPS when you view the yahoo mail website in firefox

I have a recurring problem with the yahoo mail page reported that the HTTPS connection is not safe. The Green lock becomes gray with yellow padlock symbol as soon as I open an email.

    He reports that:
The site contains content that is not safe.

I can see Web site to yahoo mail on IE without problem, but all too so I have zero problems with any other HTTPS site seen via firefox.
It seems that there is some specific problem with yahoo mail on firefox and I wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this problem.

I played a bit with turning off Add ons, no effect.

Hello, this will result in emails that integrate the content loaded via a connection http (as an image). the gray lock with the yellow warning always means that the data that you view and enter the site are secure and only passed on to yahoo. Firefox may be more proactive you warning about it than other browsers.

You can also configure firefox to block the loading of http-elements such as images in another way encrypted https-site - then the Green lock should always stay in place on your mail:
enter on: config in the address bar of firefox (confirmed the message information where it appears) and search for the preference named security.mixed_content.block_display_content. Double-click it and change its value to true.

Then try Safari/history/Show History and remove all items from the history.  Quit/relaunch Safari and test. You can also try try Safari/Clear History... The downside is that it deletes all cookies. • Why did I lost all of my boxes in Yahoo mail?

Hello, recently my Yahoo Mail went bonkers and I lost all of my boxes. You know the ones that I would use to check what emails I would delete etc, etc. It looks good on my other computers and on this computer through Google chrome.

Have you noticed any other oddities on Yahoo mail, such as cans of high with two rows of two characters? This can occur when the site requires a downloadable font for its icons and you block that by using these settings:

    (1) in the dialog box fonts Advanced, unchecking the checkbox which allows the site to use its own choice of fonts. To check that:

"3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Options > content > button "Advanced".

Here you must "allow pages to choose their own fonts.

    (2) on the deactivation of fonts downloaded in: config. It's less likely, or you remember probably not, but here's how to check on it.

    • In a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.
    • In the search box at the top of the list, type or paste the gfx and make a pause so that the list is filtered
    • If gfx.downloadable_fonts.enabled preference is bold and user, set false, double-click it to return it true.

    This seems useful.

  • Why doesn't Yahoo Mail appears correctly on Firefox as it does on Google Chrome and IE?

On Firefox, when I try to read my Yahoo mail, the display shows a tiny completely unreadable image on the page. On Google Chrome and IE, when I click on the mail icon, the page appears correctly. A second user account on my computer does not have this problem.

    You are welcome
