  I work in AI CS6

  I'm new to Illustrator and created a document (30 + layers) layered with a photo embedded as the background layer. I have implemented the work plan with a margin to bleed early in the project... but just realized I ever expand the image to fill this bleeding edge. I tried to use the slice tool to select the entire project and Shift-Dragiing the corner evolve... it the tiny distance to the edge of the border of purge but elements in the design etc. team.

  Is there a way to foolproff to do what I'm missing?  Thanks in advance for any help...

  The image can be larger than the size of the canvas. If you paste a picture which is 2000x2000px in a document of 1000x1000px image is always at its original size until it gets cropped. If you go into 'Size of Image', which is the measure of the final output image/document.
  All you need to do is select 2 transparent sides and then perform content aware fill on their work then fact! Save and replace in Illy.

  I tried search but could not find anything. I try to import an illustrator file in Cinema4D that I have to register an eps, v8 - but when I try to import, nothing happens.

  At first I thought it was a C4D issue but if:

  1. Create a file in Illustrator in CC
  2. Export eps v8
  3. Try to open the newly created in Illustrator CC v8 eps
  4. Then I see the following error message:

  I tried the following steps to reproduce the problem on two different Macs (10.8.4 and 10.8.5) and see the same error every time:

  1. Create an empty file (printing intent)
  2. Create a text box and type some text
  3. Convert all text to paths
  4. Save as Illustrator v8

  Everyone sees this issue in Illustrator CC?

  There are chances that you use Suitcase Fusion 5? If so disable the 'support to Enable Font sense' in preferences Suitcase Fusion 5 automatic Activation in the dropdown for "Type" of Illustrator CC.

• Do not let me "send to Illustrator CC.

  Just as the title suggests. I want to take the drawings that I do for the draw and put them on Adobe Illustrator CC, but when I hit the button on the iPad app, the charges as if it's still working on it, but nothing happens. Illustrator does not start, and the file never loads.

  I have Illustrator CC, 9.7 Pro Ipad screen and a Toshiba Satellite computer.

  Sorry, things don't work properly. A few things I would check you:

  * You use the most recent version of the draw, right? Version 3.3? If you're not, go ahead and update.

  * In addition, Illustrator CC has just had an update to version 2015.3.0 20.0.0. Can you ensure that the application is updated? Just check in the application of office creative cloud under the applications tab. It will usually show here if you are not aware. If it seems that everything is up to date, check again by tapping the gear icon in the upper right and pull down to App check the updates.

  * Once you check that there is up to date, sign in with your Adobe at http://assets.adobe.com ("draw" My Active - Mobile Creations) - ID and make sure all your print projects are here.

  * Then, log out of the draw, restart your device, and then reconnect to the app.

  * Once you do this, a sign of the Cloud Desktop App Designer (click on the gear, then Preferences, then logout icon), restart your computer, and then reconnect.

  * After have connected you in the desktop, create a simple project to the draw and try again to send it to the function of Illustrator CC.

  Another thing that you may not have noticed:

  There is a new feature in Illustrator CC (it is not yet in the rest of the office but will be):

  Open Illustrator CC and on the start screen, you will see a Mobile creations tab. Just tap and your mobile work should be there. (Attached picture is what the desktop will look like).

  If you don't see the tab Mobile creations make sure you are up-to-date on all of your Illustrator CC (v20.0.0) software and the Cloud Desktop App (v3.7.0.272) Designer. If you need to update the applications, be sure to restart your computer later.

  Adobe mobile apps need a native export option true to save a layered Illustrator on Box/box/etc.

  Before that, I use the option 'Send to Illustrator CC' that works very well for me. The only problem is that it opens the file on my machine both local, and on my other machine which has Adobe CC installed under the same license.

  But I don't want my files onto this machine: it's a real disadvantage for the person using this machine for other tasks at home. In addition to saying to disconnect from creative cloud is another thing you can do to make the file appear only on a single machine?

• Copy and paste multiple objects in Illustrator to Photoshop in the form of multiple layers

  I am working on an application and will stick in hundreds of groups from Illustrator to Photoshop.

  Is there a way I could select all in my Illustrator file and when I paste it into Photoshop it sticks each object as its own layer (I need it to stay Smart Objects).

  Each number is a group of several objects and I'd love to be able to copy all and paste into Photoshop as 100 layers rather copy and paste each number one by one.

  In Illustrator make each unique in a compound shape. (use the menu in the pathfinder for this Panel.

  Then export a PSD in Illustrator using editable character maximum. The forms will then form layers in Photoshop.

• Installation of Adobe Creative Suite Web Premium CS4 - No PhotoShop/Illustrator

  I have registered for Web Premium CS4 serial number that I'm trying to reinstall on OSX Yosemite. I removed the superdrive in my machine last year, so I downloaded installation program appropriate to the Adobe site.

  I launched the program installation and my key entry, which was accepted, but in the list of installation options customized, I wasn't able to select all commodities (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver etc.), ancillary products like Acrobat, AIR and so on. I went with the standard installation instead, but this has not yet installed all the commodities.

  The re - run the installer, I get only the option to install or reinstall the auxiliary products: Photoshop and others still do not appear as options grayed out now.

  My series was licensed student, acquired in 2009. It is true that it is now expired? The software worked fine until I had a game with 30 day trials CC last year, but I don't feel the amount I use the software would justify the cost of the subscription/upgrade.

  Any help to restore my Photoshop and Illustrator would be greatly appreciated.

• Batch processing hundreds of Illustrator files?

  Our software has thousands of icons all created in Illustrator and we need batch export all icons of hundreds of .ai files. I'm curious to know what are the solutions other people have developed?

  Here's a list of what we are trying to do:

  • Ability to be called from the command line
  • Ability to pass in what files process
  • Ability to run scripts in the House on the loaded file
  • Ability to spend in the folder target to place the generated files
  • Ability to close Illustrator when we finished

  I'm on a brand new computer (just got yesterday) running Windows 7 32 bit (x 86)

  Cloud creative downloaded fine, even with Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign. (most recent versions)

  When it comes to launch programs I get this message: «Adobe Illustrator responding more...» Windows is looking for a solution to the problem... etc"

  There is no error code and my only option is to "close the program". This happens within five seconds after the launch of the program, I can only see the start screen.

  I tried:

  Uninstall and reinstall (several times, including the creative cloud)

  Logout and back in Adobe Creative Cloud signature

  Restarting my computer

  Making sure my computer is updated

  Illustrator running in compatibility modes (options, tried them all)

  Opening Illustrator as an administrator.

  Moving the location of the file

  Looking for plug-ins possible causing errors (in accordance with the opinion of the other forums)

  EDIT: I also ran the cloud of Adobe cleaner

  Nothing has worked.

  Please note that this problem also occurs with Photoshop and Indesign.

  Please tell us what can happen and how to fix it.

  As I (put) understand the requirements of the system,

  System requirements | Adobe Illustrator

  CC (all versions) requires 64-bit, 32-bit is not enough. CS6 and older can run on 32-bit (the (few) .older can not run on 64-bit).

  If your Illustrator illustration is vector of 100% and contains no live effects, complex gradients, blends, etc., the first thing to try is copy > paste special > enhanced metafile.

  Otherwise, SPE may work, or you can use the pixelation in PNG. Personally, I do not consider export raster format Illustrator to be a stable workflow method, so I'd be inclined to use Photoshop as an intermediate step: Illustrator > Save As PDF > open in Photoshop > save in PNG. Just my preference.

• To open files saved in previous versions of illustrator in cc2015

  Whenever I open a file that was saved in an earlier version of illustrator in Illustrator CC2015, all work in illustrator area is covered by a black square. After Zoom all the way and toggling the visibility of art all work in the layers panel, the work plan becomes visible, but there is no objects to select. I was previously using CC2014. I tried UN-installing, re-installing and rebooting my computer. I'm running on Windows 7. All solutions would be very appreciated.

  Try to disable the GPU performance by clicking on the icon of the rocket in the App bar and the de-selection of the Performance GPU checkbox.
