  I understand that you have a printer all-in-one HP Officejet 5510 which produces copies and faxes that are illegible with white lettering on a black background. I would like to help with that.

  The fact that this occurs when the copy and fax indicates that it is a problem of printer hardware.

  Not so complicated.

  Short version:

  1. Close all programs, and then:
  2. Create point catering for your operating system - this is to protect you.

  Example:

  Windows 8

  Close all your additional programs: email, browsers, games, etc.

  Next:

  • Windows key > type anywhere on the screen of the restore point >
  • Click settings (to the right of the screen) >
  • Select create a Restore Point > select Create a restore right now point... > OK
  1. You are going to HP drivers & downloads, enter your printer model and the version of your OS, click Download.
  2. Once the file is on your computer > find the file > double-click > Poof!  The printer software installs.

  All the other stuff is there for after you download the software installed - if you want - you can use this information.

  It sounds like a code of 'asserting' firmware, something really bad happened - the most probable hardware problem.

• PRI all-in-one HP Deskjet 2542: not the printer connected to the Modem

  My modem (wired LAN) password and the name was changed recently and now my printer (HP Deskjet 2542 all-in-one) does not connect to the modem.  The blue light just continuously flashes.  This is the only change that has been done to my modem and this is the first time I tried to print. It is printed on the front.  I called the cable company and they determined my modem was working fine and has suggested that to change my printer settings.  I grew up the printer instructions on my computer, but could not find something that I could change my settings to match the modem.  I think that's what the cable company told me to do.

  My printer is mod. # SNPRB - 1204 - 02.  If you need made more information let me know.  It seems that this should be a quick fix, but I'm not a computer geek.

  I'd love to help you connect your printer to your wireless network. The flashing blue light confirms without a doubt that, for some reason, the printer is is more set up.

  I found the following steps in this document: connect the printer after change of your wireless network.

  The HP software automatically collects the network settings by temporarily connect a USB cable from the printer to a computer that is connected to the new network. Follow these steps to reconnect the printer to the network.

  Hello JoanRoger, here is the link for the package full feature software/driver for your printer All In One of 2060.

  I download and install this software. Do not turn on the printer or connect the USB cable before advised to do so during the installation process.

  Just to go to the linked page and the section Details and specifications, search for the DJ2060_K110_231.exe and click on the filename to download the file.

  This should allow the correct use of the printer All In One 2060 connected to your laptop.

  If the web page has not correctly detected your operating system, select it by using the drop-down list.  Rather than using the "Combo package" recommended but huge, expand the "Drivers" section and download driver printer v2.32 to a location that you will remember later.

  • Click on the ORB start and go into devices and printers.
  • Select (click) the icon of your Epson printer.
  • Once you have selected the printer, a button labeled "Print server properties" will appear in the toolbar.  Click on this button.
  • Click the "Drivers" tab on the print server properties dialog box.
  • Select the Epson printer in the list of installed printer drivers, and then click 'remove '.
  • In the context menu, select "Remove driver and driver package" and click OK
  • Click Yes, and then delete
  • Once the removal process is complete, restart the computer (probably not really necessary, but can't hurt)

  I shoot sports in RAW format. I use up to three programs in post processing: Photo Mechanic, Canon RAW software, and Corel Photo. It would be my workflow speed if I could use a single program. Lightroom seems to be a combination of Photo Mechanic and Canon RAW software with some features Photoshop which can carry on what I'm doing with Corel.

  I mainly use Photo Mechanic for post-processing: shots of thumbnails selection, the IPTC data entry down of sampling, cropping, move, copy, removal, sharpening, naming, download and printing of the Board contact with legends. He converted Canon RAW to JPEG files more than 10 x faster than the Canon software, with the best options for the taking of samples, but all changes to in the software of Canon RAW files must be saved in a jpeg file (painfully slow) out because Photo Mechanic can not see the RAW changes.

  I use the Canon RAW software for brightness, contrast, white balance and saturation - but only as an exception. Most of the time I can send photos as shot - with the exception of the Photo Mechanic work.

  I use Corel to dodge and burn, corrector and clone tools software. Corel has the same features that I use in the software of Canon - but these features do not work as well in Corel software as Canon, is not a substitute for the Canon software. For example, often light Won ' t bring out shadow details - it turns just black to grey, where the Canon software for the same photo can bring out details in shadows, when I adjust the brightness. The Canon software has adjustments more significant - I can brighten up in 'stops' instead of arbitrary scale from 0 to 100.

  Although my new Netgear dual-band "N" WIFI ADAPTER works optimally and, out of curiosity, I have re-installed several times using the accompaniment CD... there is a small problem I want to solve: when I click on the WIFI adapter desktop ICON, I get a window of PSI with the message "FAILURE of SERVICE.  Yet once, WIFI actually moved and is also indicated under the programs/features and works perfectly well.  When I bring up the icon under all PROGRAMS, the same result occurs: the same message reappears: "FAILURE of SERVICE.  When I called Netgear to the Philippines call center, support staff of so-called tech advised me to ignore the message and that I was the first caller on this issue, "as long as the WIFI adapter gives you the desired signal quality and speed, just ignore... "When I pressed on others, a supervisor at the call center told me that she would pass on the information that I provided to their engineers to study the problem.  In addition, the supervisor told me that no one had contacted the Center to call on this particular issue.  Yes, I even disabled the built-in WIFI adapters (Atheros), but the 'problem' in question still exists.  Please note that it is a phenomenon of long months and that in the past whenever I clicked on the ICON, the regular Netgear Windows would come upward, including the various hot spots in option, etc. I even updated the software successfully and rebooted the laptop, according to Microsoft's Windows Update instructions.  Please let me know what is happening and how I could fix this ' cosmetic ', if that's what it is, according to Netgear support.
