All of a sudden Google is not a trusted web site. Now what?

When I try to log in to Google, I get a message that Firefox is unable to confirm that the site is secure and that the identity of the site cannot be verified. Then they say that a person may be trying to impersonate the site and that I should not continue. How can I fix it?

Thanks for the reply, but the situation was corrected. In addition to the problem I mentioned that the computer would not closed little matter what I tried. I finally had to unplug it. When I plugged it back in and turned on everything has worked well.
