  There is no support for changing the statement that adds columns.

  I think it's a bug.

• Issues of Lightroom import of cr2 files

  Recently, we went on vacation to Europe where I downloaded a cr2 file folder on my laptop of cousins in lightroom. I've never played change them but I export them on my hard drive. I am now trying to import them into lightroom on my laptop and lightroom tells me there is no file to show but there are all appearing in the shadows in the background, everything is not accessible. Any ideas on how to solve this problem by any chance? Cheers Chris

  This means that photos have already been imported into Lightroom, and there is no need to import them again. Just go in the library Module, find pictures and use them in any way you want (editing, printing, electronic mail, etc.)

  You have a lot of good advice here on best practices, but I don't think that someone at - it answered your question. The answer is no, there is no way easy, unless you have access to the FrameScript or the FDK.

  When I turned off my laptop everything worked fine. When I turned it on again. It was not possible to connect to any website that settings in both Firefox and IE has been changed to use a proxy server. 127.0.0.1 IP ADDRESS. Breach security or virus? Or maybe could I possibly, changed the settings by chance?

  It is difficult to accidentally change the setting of something you
  normally not have access. I say add/bad-ware.

  Something happened when I gave up a lot in ps action. Now, every image that I opened in Czech Republic shows highlights cut as bright red or B + W CR2. I have the current patch for cs5 and have reinstalled ps with no improvement.

  All of a sudden out of nowhere my files load in Lightroom with preview not available for this file on all incoming items. I can go to develop and change etc. But why suddenly this change occurs? And there at - it a hotfix or an update or? I almost always load in RAW files and use a Nikon D7200.

  So the problem is when you import?

  My guess is that there is a problem with the card or a cable/USB Port camera drive; or maybe the problem with the card from the camera. First of all, make sure that all cables from the camera are well connected at both ends. If this solves the problem, can you try a different material and different camera card?

  As mentioned earlier, you asked 2 different questions. I hope that this answer allows you to satisfy you with both of them.

  Creating an index:

  Import a PDF file:

  As I said before, you import PDF images files. You can use the same path than with images: drag and drop, D, file-> Place

  Please pay attention to the 'options import' as you can choose between different "cultures": Bounding Box, Art, Trim, bleed, media.

  For a multiple page PDF, you can choose the page or page range. Etc.

  Nicolas said the "PlaceMultipagePdf" script that you will find in the window-> Utilities-> scripts Panel. Get off at samples-> JavaScript

  

  This script updates the Pdf pages on a new page. Try, if you are tempted to import a multi-page PDF document.

  Your use of the word "files" (in the plural) still makes me believe that you have not checked the permissions on the folder that is appropriate (in the singular).

  You must determine the Destination of the Lightroom Import dialog window Panel and see which folder Lightroom is really tr6ing to copy photos in (which may have been accidentally changed and is not what you may have used in the past) and change the permissions to write to this folder.

  I am trying to import my photos from SD card via a card reader, but the images are not displayed in the dialog. I think not that the problem is related to the card reader SD/because when I copy the pictures on my computer and you try to import from there, dialogue still comes in white, in fact, any folder with any image is delivered empty, whether my HDD, NAS, SD card...   I was clicking around and expanded the 'Destination' tab and everything appeared all of a sudden. I think that there is a bug somewhere, not sure how replicate however.

  I'm trying to import 2554 photos in Lightroom to a wedding that I shot yesterday. I created a new catalog and went to import photos, however in the upper right of the import screen it says there is no 2131 photos to import. I've never had this problem before. He images are off 2 cameras and some are JPEGs and some are high heat, I don't know if this is the problem? All images are in the destination folder, it's when I import them I seem to lose more than 400 images. Anyone can shed some light?

  

  In Preferences > general, make sure JPGs to treat raw as separate photos next to files is checked.

  Photoshop Camera Raw will read the files and import them into Photoshop very well.

  I installed Adobe Raw Converter and convert the. ARW to. Files DNG but Lightroom still will not import, copy, or move files.

  It seems that it is access read and write on the folder you need to do.

  Try to change the Destination folder, or give read and write access to the folder selected in the destination from the Finder Panel.
