  Hi, I hope you can help me... My missing desktop icons with hotbar after a reboot, but the text is there and programs can still be opened. Thus, my Dowes does not open. Any idea how this can be?   You use norton 360? Norton-> settings-> backup settings of-> backup status overlays-> OFF-> apply.  After the execution of the next backup (you can do it manually) the check marks will disappear.
