All of the choices on dashboard command prompt

Hello

Is it possible to rename the value "(tous les choix) ' in the drop-down list invite?" I would use a custom here name. If this is not possible, is it possible to simulate using instruction box in RPD? I have a column of flag in my table of value either 'Y' or 'n'. The user must be able to choose 2 values (two records with flag = "Y", or all records). The user shouldn't be able to choose only the values of "n".

Ideas?
Thank you

Edit: I want to just rename (all choices) for column quickly a dashboard, not in all areas.

Hello

I found the problem of your screenshot, it returns null for other conditions that's why records are to come.
Given that we are unable to compare NULL values.

In writing SQL advanced

IFNULL (table1. Flag,' don't) in (select IFNULL(Table1.Flag,'N') in the Subject_Area WHERE ' @{Pv_test} "="All")
OR
Table1.flag in (select Table1.Flag from the Subject_Area WHERE Table1.Flag ('y') and ' @{Pv_test} "=' Y')

Thank you

  • How to create a value to select all the dashboard command prompt values

    Dear Sir/Madam,
    OBIEE version is 10g.
I create a dashboard promt to act as a filter option. It includes all the values in the target column. I wonder how to add value to this prompt to select all of the values in this column?

    For example:
Table has a column 'product '. Total of 3 values in this column: "product produced b","", "product c '. When I create a dashboard command prompt to include all the choice of 'product '.
Show sql result: I press "select A product".
Ok. This message now includes "product produced b","", "product c ' fall down meun. But the problem also. If the user wants to choose all the values in this column? How he/she can do that? I would also add a value 'All products' to include ' product produced b "," "," product c "drop menu drop-down. If the user choose this option. Displays all the results of the product?
    Thank you.

Do you mean the dash prompt has a functional to the list of the values of all options as check boxes? Please would you give me a simple example if you are convenient?
    Thanks anyway.

When you create the dashboard, as David T say, simply leave the values at all rather than send the SQL query. This will give you the list of all values for the prompt. When the user wants to run the report with all values, it will need check all the boxes in the list, to get the report with all products.

  • Is it possible to run the restore of the system from a command prompt?

    Plug;

Dell Studio 540 Quad core 3, 2 GHz (don't remember exactly?) processor

    Ram 8BG

    Windows Vista Edition Home Premium

    In general, everything was working fine until I ran the auto update for Vista. I don't know exactly which updates made it crash (that's the downside to update automatic, I guess?), but what happens is;

PC powers up correctly, and everything seems to be in order up to and including the connection procedures. Once connected, the first error message pops up saying: "Windows Explorer" is not working properly and has restart. This will make a loop again and again, and as long as the error is running, I'm not able to perform all actions either. The only thing I am able to do, is to run the Task Manager, but if I try to run applications, programs or processes there, the Task Manager itself is in need of a reboot. So, basically, the only action I can perform the Task Manager is turn off the PC safely.

    Helps out;

Ran memory diagnostics, no error found.

I ran system restore, not detected no results. (....) According to me, if I could run Vista system restore as soon as Windows Explorer is stable, I can choose a restore point prior to the restoration defined point in chest upward and it will solve the problem.

I ran the repair of the system, but the PC does not recognize a problem, according to the definition, the start sequence works as it should.

I ran the security modes to see if I can access previous system restore points, but like windows explore does that no action can be taken. It's the safe mode; Base drivers and base with network connection drivers.

I ran the command line safe mode, that works very well, but don't really know what I can do from there.

    I have the option to reinstall the OS, but I hope a response must be made of this? My thought is;

Is it possible to run the restore of the system from a command prompt? And if so, where is the path, finally, what should I do?

    This starts the system restore

  • Pavilion Elite HPE-170 t: need help with the result of a command prompt to Power Options

I have recently upgraded to Windows 10 in Windows 7.  Like so many thousands of people, I problelms of sleep mode.  Mine will not be auto-sleep.  It has been suggested that I saw to run command prompt: powercfg-applications

It supposedly will list the items running on your computer which can now be auto-sleep to work.  I tried several times and up to now, I get the same item displayed each time.  This is what is displayed: \device\harddiskvolume2\windows\sysWOW64\svchost.exe (hpqddsvc) is followed by this message: a file delete operation is underway

My first thought is that if there is an operation to remove file in progress all the time, it's maybe the reason why my computer is not auto-sleep.  If there is someone out there who can shed some light on this situation, I would appreciate the help.

    EUREKA * SOLVED

I found the answer to my problem!  After using the control system: powercfg-query and get the answer: \device\harddiskvolume2\windows\sysWOW64\svchost.exe (hpqddsvc) delete file operation is in progress

I started looking for whatever it is associated with the answer above.  In the Manager of tasks in respect of the services, I found the name of the file hpqddsvc, with a description of HP CUE DeviceDiscovery Service was running.  When I stopped the task and re-tried in opt power standby mode, it worked correctly.  In the Configuration of the system (by typing msconfig at the run prompt) on the Services tab, I unchecked the box for HP CUE DeviceDiscovery Service and rebooted the computer.  The service is no longer running.

I'm sure that this Service has been added to my computer when I downloaded the hp.com/support product detection tool .  The tool scans your computer to detect and identify HP products.

This can be useful to others who have the problem of the auto-sleep I've had.

  • DateDifference function using two fields of calendar from a dashboard command prompt

    Hello

I have a command prompt with two input fields of user as a calendar type:

    Area 1: cast (' 01 / 01/2009 ' date)
Field 2: cast (null as date)

These fields are each captured in presentation variables. I'm trying to find the time difference between the two:

TIMESTAMPDIFF (SQL_TSI_MONTH, CAST (' @{ST_DT}' AS DATE), CAST OFF (' @{END_DT}' AS DATE))

    I get this error message:

Oracle error code: 1843, message: ORA-01843: not a valid month in the OIC call OCIStmtExecute: select distinct ROUND (MONTHS_BETWEEN (cast (31 December 2011' as DATE), cast off (' 01 / 03/2011 ' as DATE)))

I guess that's due to the date format in the command prompt. The user enters something like 01/03/2011 but the system is perhaps looking for MMDDYYYY:DATETIME?

    Try this

    (TIMESTAMPDIFF (SQL_TSI_MONTH, EVALUATE ('TO_TIMESTAMP (TO_CHAR (%1), %2)'
    AS
    (00:00:00 TIMESTAMP,'@{Start_Month}{2011-01-01} ',' YYYY-MM-DD HH24:MI:SS'), EVALUATE ('TO_TIMESTAMP (TO_CHAR (%1), %2)'
    AS
    00:00:00 timestamp,'@{End_Month}{2011-01-31} ',' YYYY-MM-DD HH24:MI:SS')))

Start_Month and End_Month are variables of presentation corresponding to the dates in the calendar by user entry.
The column formula is below in the guest of dash board

    CASES where 1 = 0 then TEMP_RECORD. TRANSACTION_DATE of OTHER EVALUATE ('TO_DATE (%1, %2) {' as 00:00:00 DATE,'@{Start_Month}{2011-01-01} ',' YYYY-MM-DD hh) END

When you create a new dashboard quickly develop Options. You will see that; "Allow the user to select multiple values" is selected by default. Deselect this option. You will see; "Include" all choices "in the list"-option appears.

  • Defragment the computer freezes, chkdsk has revealed no error. Manual operation of defrag.exe help as meeting the same gel administrator command prompt

    Hi all

Bit of a strange problem with Windows 7. I can't get defrag to work on any level. Running manually using a system Accessories/tools works for about 20 minutes before the computer hangs completely and requires that the start/stop button to press. I have run chkdsk and supposedly there are no errors on the hard drive.

I tried running as admin - c:/c defrag.exe command-line prompt and several variations of it, but all have problems about 20 minutes in the defragmentation. Also tried in safe mode.

The strange thing is that the computer does not display instabilities during normal operation. My tuneup software has identified that the hard drive is very fragmented. I do not think that the third-party software it will solve as Tuneup has a command defragment and which freezes some 20 minutes after the start.

    Any recommendations?

    What tune up software?

Its likely that dubious Tune Up software is the cause of system problems

  • Cache seeding - reports using a dashboard command prompt

    Hi all

I have a question to seed the cache of the BI server. I have a series of reports that they are involved in their selection on a presentation variable that is defined by a line of dashboard.

  • Set cell shape via a dashboard command prompt

    Hi all

I am looking for a way to enable end users to modify the number of decimals displayed in the cells of a table. Ideally, the solution would be a drop-down list with the following values, which, after the selection will update the table:

    • Integer
    • 1 decimal place
    • 2 decimal places.

I am aware that this could be done via 3 copies of the report that each contain different decimal formats and view reports using a view selector, however as I have many reports with this requirement, is not a viable solution.

I wonder if this can be done by a quick dash and conditional formatting. If so, how exactly?

    Thanks for your suggestions.

    Liam

You can use a column for this selector: make sure you have 1 column for, say, the number with 1 decimal place. A second column the number with 2 decimal places and so on and so forth...

Let the user use the column picker to select the column he wants to is displayed in the report.

    Kind regards

  • Results SQL (all the choices)

I have a dashboard command prompt that uses a SQL result to display only certain values. I also checked "All choices". My problem is when I select 'all choice' it filters on ALL values for that not only the values of SQL result field.

Is it possible to make the filter "All choices" on ALL the values of a SQL result?

    Hi user1631812,

What you ask is possible, but you will need to add a little tip in addition to what you have at the moment.

First of all, let me explain how I * understand "(all the choice option)" function. In OBIEE, "(tous les choix) ' is the lack of a filter." For example, if you set the column A to be "invited" and choose the value 1, then your report will have a WHERE condition "COLUMNA_A = 1". However, if choose (all choices) as your value, OBIEE completely removes the condition WHERE of SQL.

So what happens in your case, when you specify the SQL custom in your command prompt, then what is displayed in the command prompt is limited to your custom SQL statement that is exactly what you were hoping for. But then when you select all the choices, the report is not aware of the results limited to the custom SQL; and in addition, the value of all options removes the WHERE condition you report. This is why you do not see your report filtering all the records. This is the part you want to resolve.

Here's what I recommend you do in order to get the desired result. In your report, add in the same clause that is in your prompt i.e. column_a in (1,2). Then set that filter to "protect". Finally, add a secondary filter on column A and assign "is invited". The first filter will limit the choices just as you did in your dashboard prompt. It will also take into account the option 'All things'. The second filter will take into account in everything except the "all options" is selected.

    Hope that helps!

    -Joe
