All read old version data file in Labview 8.6 (waveform playback of file.vi)

Hi, I have a big problem on the use of file.vi in LV8.6 reading waveform to play *.wmf files that were generated LV7.1 program.

He often appears a message windows, refer to the attached picture file, because I use LV8.6 program to read a considerable number of such files,

I can't afford all these windows message in my program, please tell me how to get rid of this message.

Thank you very much

Hello

The type of waveform data is in LabVIEW 8.6 differs from the version 7.1, so this conversion is required. This knowledge base article solves the same error: Read Waveform files from old Versions of LabVIEW .

To prevent the message from appearing, add silentDatalogConvert = true to the LabVIEW.ini file. It is located in the National Instruments\LabVIE 8.6 folder. I hope this helps!

  • Re-create all indexes on new data files

    Hello

    on FSCN 9.2 on Win 2008

    We'll re-create all indexes (belonging to sysadm) in the new data files.

    -Are there any script or utility to do this?

    -can you offer me any scenario?

    Otherwise, I think only of:

    0-extract DDL for all areas of storage and index.

    1-drop tablesapces

    2 Create tablespaces (by the DBMS_GETDLL script ('TABLESPACE'...)

    3 re-create all indexes (by the DBMS_GETDLL script ('INDEX',...))

    4 rebuild all indexes.

    Any idea?

    Thank you.

    There is no trace of PeopleTools that stores the name of the tablespace for the index.

    Here's how to work the tablespaces.

    There is a table called PSDDLMODEL where we store the information of DOF model for index and table creation, among other things. DDL models contain a template with replaceable parameters. One of the parameters in the create index Oracle is a field called INDEXSPC. This field by default is PSINDEX.

    If you wish to override this value, you can go in the App Designer, open a folder, select Tools-> data Administrations-> select Index to edit the index and then select modify DDL, then select change the setting for the Create Index and Create Unique Index model. This replaces PSINDEX for this record. The name of the underlying table is PSIDXDDLPARM.

    If you want to change the default PSINDEX to something else, go to the utilities Menu and use DOF model by default and change the PSINDEX to something else. Once you change this setting, the next time that you create the index, it will be created in the tablespace.

    If you create an index in a different tablespace outside PeopleSoft, we have no knowledge of this and do not update our tables in order to take into account where he currently resides. Once you have updated the default template and replaced the records you want to replace, you can make a Data Mover, followed of a Data Mover import export and the index will be created as they have been redefined. Or you can just do a SQL Create Index and re-create all of them.

  • Orchestrator read the local data file

    I run my workflow on computer xyz. On this machine, I have several data files that I'd like to read and use this data in the workflow. These files are changed fairly regularly.

    I run the following code and get the following error:

    var myFileReader = new FileReader("c:\\path\file.csv");
    myFileReader.open();
    testrecord = myFileReader.readAll(); //testrecord is a String variable
    myFileReader.close();

    Permission denied on the file ' / var/lib/vco/app-server/bin/c:\path\file.csv', was not allowed to read

    This shows that orchestrator is trying to read the file from the device to VCO vs my local computer.

    Is it possible to have the VCO to read a file on my box local xyz? Having this file uploaded to the device to VCO on each change may be a bridge too far.

    I thank very you much for any help.

    The Orchestrator device cannot automatically access your local computer (such as any server). Instead, the files that must be accessed by Orchestrator should be provided in one of the following ways:

    • Use mimeAttachment as an input for the workflow (s) that you need to run and provide the files the workflow runtime, then download the content of the mimeAttachment in your scripts, treat you like
    • Store the files on a network share visible on the server Orchestrator (vRO device (s) would need to mount the disk AND local file system rights allowed according to the Docs vRO file-io - rights.conf)
    • Store the files as a resource on the server Orchestrator items (this option is preferable for a little static files as text from the models, the INF files, etc...)
  • Firefox has yet read old library (.js) file even if it updated

    Hi team, support

    Sometimes when I used Firefox to test my site in the browser of the local host.
    Firefox did not update my library file even if I saved the document. For example, when I changed my jquery file.js and then I taped. And after that, I executed the HTML page, again, Firefox always read my old code of Jquery. I don't know why but this problem happened several times. I also tested my site in other browsers such as IE and Chrome. And they worked very well, so I guess that maybe it's a bug of firefox. Please note that my version of firefox is 22.0.
    My work around solution is that I need to create the new file that may have a different location and or different. and then import the file to the new source instead.

    Please kindly let me know, if you have the solution for this case.

    Best regards

    Firefox is sometimes a little too aggressive by reusing the cached files. You can ignore those reload with Ctrl + Shift + r. -What helps with jQuery?

  • I have an old data file of firefox from a transfer of the computer I did and I want to get all the sites that I had organized how can I do this?

    If earlier I transferred my old files from the computer to my new computer and when I did I tried that my firefox books brands added when I did he just make an old firefox data file. I went in there it has the markings of books, but the problem is it is not really readable a little mixed up and I want to know if I can import it to my only current or somehow get it organized so I can at least see them outside or on a note pad just each bookmark on its own line? I added a picture what it looks like

    You can use the notebook (Firefox/tools > Web Developer) to inspect and edit files in JSON format quite easily.
    There is a "Pretty Print" button to add line breaks.

  • Move the data files in a server

    Hello

    I am faced with the situation that a customer needs to move their 10 g-server instance, i.e. to a different disk subsystem, and then a similar movement will be on the 11g on the same server instance. The problem is that the downtime on the instances should be minimized.

    My plan is (for a tablespace at a time):
    * make the tablespace read only
    * Copy data files to the new location
    * offline tablespace
    * alter tablespace rename datafile 'original file name' to 'new file name ";
    on the line the tablespace read write
    and when it is, I will continue with the journal, tablespace and control files temporary.

    Now to the twist and my question: the customer has separate tablespaces for tables and indexes.
    My concern is what is happening to the index if the tablespace containing these are read-only, and storage with the tables are read/write? The transaction fails, because the index cannot be updated, or the index will become damaged?

    Am I better off marking the tables and index tablespaces read only at the same time, ensure the integrity of the database? Or is there a completely different and way better to travel?

    The system is running on a Redhat server.

    That said, if I have understood correctly, you want to move the database and the 'clone' on the new server. Is this right? If so why not make the backup of the 10g database and use it to create a clone/copy of the database on the new server?

  • data file update the header by various processes

    Hi master,

    It is certainly not a question any. I just wanted to clear some doubts in my mind. We all know SNA are generated and updated in the controlfiles and datafile headers by various oracle process.

    System change number are updated by DBWr in the header of the data files and of ckpt in controlfiles... Please correct me if I'm wrong.

    I am little confuse on when the database writer writes dirty blocks in the data files update the header of this particular data file or updated all the header of data file in the tablespace or all the headers of data file?

    and it is, but it is obvious that if the instance crash, then database will be inconsistent state and application of recovery of incompatible data files as YVERT in the control file does not match the data file header...

    treat means only when good checkpoint with CKPT then only the database will be a consistent state after reboot... it means making ckpt YVERT in all the datafile header match with in controlfiles?

    dealing with writing or update YVERT in other than CKPT controlfiles? at the time, only respective datafile is updated with the new change number or all in this tablespace data files are updated?

    Although many change of system is not timed... It may often happen and it does... but how to find change number perfect if we want to recover a file of data or database with incomplete recovery until the sequence or YVERT? I tried to find the list for the smon_scn_time , but don't know how to use...

    I'm looking also for document on this point of view I have Google, but have not found anything successful.

    any suggestions would be much appreciated...

    Thanks and greetings

    gurantee Oracle with CKPT SNA who wrote to datafile is completed and will be contradicted with system files, tablespace and other
    tabelspace load datafiles, each tablespace datafiles CKPT SNA is circumscribed in controlfile is why when you take line/hot
    Save then your backup is inconsistent on recovery makes inconsistent backups consistent oracle by applying all archived and online
    redo logs, oracle makes the recovery by reading more early/more former SNA to one of the headers of data file (media recovery) and apply the
    changes of newspapers in the data file.

    After the completion of checkpoint process CKPT process increment header controlfile CKPT SNA and broad cast than SNA CKPT to others
    header data file. This SNA CKPT is not individual for alls datafile within the database or tablespace datafiles, each CKPT SNA data file is the same.
    You can verify this behavior.

  • dimesnion no present value in the data file

    Hi all

    I have a data file that does not contain the value of an dimesnion. It is a constant value. In the cartographic section, I tried to write this constant value so that dimesnion. But thiis gives an error. How we specify the value of this dimension?

    Thank you

    If you try to predict a constant value of type char or varchar, mapping of Stagging and provide a value like this: '12' (or) 'value '.
    In case another number or date you can provide it to the level of the target or release. If you use the target, then I$ do not use this column it will be directly inserted into the target Table.

    I hope this helps. Can you please provide the error message if the above does not help you.

  • Simulation read data file (*.) (DAT) by using the worksheet (file reading eror - zeros)

    Dear OR community,

    IM pretty new in LabVIEW, so I have a few broblems with reading the data.

    I take a screenshot and mark a problem like part - A and part b below:

    The description of the goal:

    I do a mathematical simulation, using the old software whitch exporting results as shown in 1... DAT file, as it shown in the picture (Notepad).

    First of all I need not read these data then I need to draw the graph XY.

    Description of the problem:

    I created a LabVIEW program and im using a funciont reading of spreadsheet per section B - but when im trying to read data im getting all zeros...

    so I can't identify my problem... What is the problem?

    I try different file to read its Case_test_working.txt and everything is good with this data but when im trying to read *. DAT file zeros is array...

    I tried to use seperator different symbols, also try to imort data to exel then export to *.scv, *.txt formats, but the performance was the same as that indicated in part-A.

    Whenever I get zeros, but not a results as in *. DAT or another file format exported with the same data.

    Please be respectifull and understand that im still newbie in labview but I think its excellent software of filtering of the analysis of data and calculations, so I want to master this software for my future use.

    Respectfully,.
