"All the data Points" option missing on totals

In a specific workbook (Discoverer Desktop 10.1.2.2), when I go to edit or create a total for one of the worksheets Table, 'All the data Points' option is not there. I can always create sums, counts, etc. on the individual columns. I forget something obvious? There are some sets of circumstances where "All the data Points" would not be an option?

Hello

You will have only the option "All the data Points" when you create a new total if there is a data point in the report. Unlike a crosstab report where you can drag an item in the crosstab table to a data point, in the report of the table there is no way to tell Scout that a calculation is a data point.

Items (including the calculated items) in a folder can be changed to be a data point by changing the property to default to "Data point" position using the administrator of the Disco. If you add a data point in the report, then 'All the data Points' option will be available.

Also you can cheat discoverer by using a calculation as a data point using an aggregate function for example sum (case where student_grade like 'A%' then ends 1 0 otherwise), but discoverer will then use a group by in the query, and this can give you a different result.

  • You use the zoom of the band to select all the data points in the Strip

I feel stupid this morning. I am a new user with 2011, but have not figured out how to copy a portion of the data. I can use the 2D axis system view to view my data. Can I use zoom band to get the part I need, but for the life of me I can't seem to copy the part. I put at the beginning and end and other flags, but the best I have is the starting point, one no point value and the end point. I don't get all the points between the flags. Am I supposed to mark somehow all the points in the zoom view? I did a search, but may not know what I am doing wrong.

WOW! If simple, yet I kept missing it. There is a difference between "Band Zoom" and "band of cursor. Thank you very much! Feeling little sheepish here now .

  • While the loop records all the data

    Hello

I have a LabView program containing two while loops. The first is used to increment a frequency on our machine and the second, which is located in the first, used to take a certain number of points of data to this frequency. After taking these data points, the frequency is supposed to rise again. This happens for a set number of times.

The problem I have is that the data file as the data points in the second then the loop are supposed to be written in does not display do not all the data points in the program should have taken. For example, if we want the first loop increment of 10 times and the second to take 5 data points every time, we expect to see 50 data points in our files. But we see only 10. The watch file always only an amount of data points equal to the first loop iterations. If we cut our data at that time.

Someone has an idea what could be our problem?

  • My LR collections all have the exclamation point (photo missing)

I spent from PC to Mac and Apple move my data. I know it was a big mistake. I have my catalog recovered except for my collections where all the pictures have the exclamation for missing photos. If I understand correctly the collections affect the original photo and does not have another copy. If I use find missing photo and add it to the collection, I am afraid that I will get a copy of the image. Any suggestions on how I can add the missing photos in my collections?

Once you have all your folders or images related to Lightroom, you won't have to make changes in the Collections.

It will automatically remove the exclamation point (File Missing symbol) in your collection.

    I hope this helps.

  • How to load all the data without uncheck Journalized data only option?

    Hi all

Currently, I have configured an option only logged data for many game data and interface.

But I need to load all the data (once) without clear logged Data Only. After that it will work with the CDC.

    Please help me on this.

    Hi Eba

Another way is to copy the source data to another table (two copies).
If you have 10 source table and then create another 10 tables in doubles in the backend.
Now truncate these original paintings. Then insert the data in table duplicated in the original table. Now CDC will detect these are inserted.
But I guess you have more than 300 paintings, which is again difficult to manage.

  • Replacement of the main computer, don't want to lose all the data synchronized.

I use Firefox Sync with multiple devices at work and at home. My main computer, which is the original pc all data from first and I use to add new devices, is my work laptop. I'm being transferred across the country and no longer have this laptop.

I need somehow put up my home pc or my new laptop to work as the new main computer, but I don't want to lose all data. Should I export all the data from the laptop the existing work and import it on the new pc, then installed Sync all over again on my other devices (Mercury browser for iphone and ipad)? Or is there an easier way to do it?

    Thank you
    Jake

Hello, first of all please create a backup of your profile of your work pc folder, so that you have your data available in all cases: back up and restore the information contained in the profiles of Firefox

I do not think that there is something like a 'primary' feature in your accounts sync - all devices need to be at the height, you can simply delete your old laptop to sync & add the new laptop to the account:
Go to firefox > options > tab sync on your old laptop. Please make sure you as your user name, password of the account and the recovery key is known to you (you can access the recovery key under 'manage accounts' "-write it down if you haven't done so already '), then click on separate device in the Synchronize tab.

You can then add your new laptop to work on behalf of sync existing either by coupling a device while you're close to your pc at home or with your user account, password and recovery key.

  • Satellite A200 - 1 GB: I lose all the data on the HDD using the recovery CD

    Hello

Recently, I had some problems with the network of vista Home premium, start at the blue screen with a TCPIP. SYS error and after a reboot, never launched.
Download the bluescreen when the green bar loaded and sometimes even to secure boot.

    So I have a recovery CD/DVD and I can choose 2 ways;
the first is winRe + XXGB and the second's watch expert mode WinRe + OS on toshiba original settings.

Can someone tell me if I lose all the data to HARD drive on this second option?
The model is an A200 - 1 GB

    Thanks for your attention

    Unfortunately Yes!
The Toshiba Vista recovery CD will format the whole HARD drive and will erase everything from the HARD drive.
So be careful and if necessary trying to back up the data first.

  • Using the CD to restore Vista A300 without all the data be deleted

Hi there guys! After my drama wireless... I decided to go back to Vista a few months with XP... The thing is, I put my a300 vista recovery CD, and apparently the Toshiba Recovery CD erases all THE DATA on my hard drive...!

Since I'm on XP, now I can't use the second option IE. system recovery so I have to use recovery "out-of-box", which seems to erase all my data.

My hard drive has 3 partitions, C being the system partition. I want only to clear C and leave the other two safe for the sake of my data... but I chose the option that goes like "delete only the first partition" and the proceedings ended because of an error.

Is there a another way to install Vista using the recovery CD without formatting of my partitions D and E?

Thank you for your help in advance

Before you reinstall Windows, you should back up your dates on external media, such as a DVD or external HARD disk.

Then you can erase all data on the HARD drive and maybe you will get no error.

For more assistance, you must send an error exactly.

I have trouble finding in the best way to manage data generated by my state machine. Here are the data that it will save:

    * When pressure is set, a set point is returned.

    * When the pressure is set, a reading is taken a multimeter.

What would be the best way to do this? Would it not be better to store all the data in memory, and then write all the data at once? If so, what would be the best way to do this? I want to use the tool to generate report after have set all the pressures. I joined my current application. Thank you all!

  • All the data disappeared after the installation of updates! Help!

Hoping someone can help with this
Last night I installed updates KB961371, 973346 KB and KB 890830 for Vista Home Premium and they seemed to have been settled... my computer turns off fine. But when I started today and connected to my usual user, I got a pop-up message from the tool bar by saying "your user profile was not loaded correctly, you have been logged on with a temporary profile, cnanges do you will be lost when you log out." Check the log of the events for more information or contact your administrator." I then found that all my data was away from all my files (music, photos, Documents, analyses)... everything was gone. I then logged out of my user every day and in my admin to have a snoop around and all the data disappeared from there too. While in admin I also looked in the update section to see if the updates have not been installed correctly, but he said that they had been installed successfully.

I then rebooted, as I thought that it might help, but everything remained the same.

After the reboot, I clicked through 'my computer' and hard the news here on the disc wrote I have 89 GB of 147 GB free, which I think is consistent with the amount of data I have stored. This made me think that the data is always there somewhere, but I can't access it at all thanks to my user every day or my administrator.

As far as I can see, all the programs that I installed myself (such as Skype, open office software for my printer hp) are all present, but some of the shortcuts are out of the office. Also, when opening, they "behave" as newly installed programs. for example: Open Office writer guide me through a license agreement and registration rather than simply open a new document, and also firefox behaved in a way similar "new". Also, on commissioning today (after the installation of update yesterday), the window "welcome center" popped up, as did a window asking to save the "synaptics pointing device.

In short, the system "behaves like new", remembers none of my settings etc, but it is still a my programs installed and most of all, I can't access any of my data! I have a Toshiba Equium P200-178 (use vista Home premium service pack 1 32-bit), I use AVG anti virus (8.5) and Ad-aware software anti spyware. These are updated every day and I run scans on a regular basis (last analysis aware ad probably about a week ago) so I'm not sure it's associated virus.

Ask yourself what is this "temporary profile" and how to return to my old and my data! Help, please! Thanks :)

Difficulty of a corrupted user profile

After creating the profile, you can copy the files from the existing profile. You must have at least three user accounts on the computer to perform these operations, including the new account that you created.

    Good luck with it.

  • Write delay failed unable to save all the data for the file $Mft

Have a frustrating problem.  Help is greatly appreciated.  Learned the hard way and lost a dwg important issue which was unrecoverable.  Bought a new drive external hard seagate.  Could not back up the entire system with software pre-installed.  Download acronis true image home 2011.  Tried to backup system.  Receive error when trying to backup messages; 'Delay to failure of Scripture; Reading of the sector; Windows was unable to save all the data for the file $Mft. The data has been lost.  Have tried many fixes.  Unable to disable write caching method (grayed out / unclickable).  Played regedit 'EnableOplocks' is not listed to select.  Attempted to run microsoft 'fix it' and got the blue screen of death.  Short hair out of my head.  Suggestions appreciated.

I don't know where Microsoft 'Technical support engineers' get their information.

Write caching without a doubt "does apply to external hard drives", but it is usually disabled to prevent to sort the problem you are experiencing.

I've seen several positions reporting to the same question that you do.  All of these positions were with SATA drives.  Is your Seagate eSATA drive?

The disc is recognized as an external drive in Device Manager?  In Device Manager, go to the drive properties dialog box and click the policies tab.  An external drive should have two options: "Optimize for quick removal" and "Optimize for performance".  An internal hard drive shows the options as gray (with 'performance' selected), but there should also be a checkbox "Enable disk write cache" under the second option.

What shows in your policies tab?

If I understand correctly, "writeback" or "write behind" is implemented by disc material or its pilot.  If the option is not available on the drive properties > policies tab, I would suggest to contact Seagate support.

  • Move the user off the system disk folders? Envy of all the data on E, so need to move directories user E. not individually, but in the world. If all new users, I create will have their user and docs folder on E.

Got a new laptop with win 7 home premium pre-installed. Using the language of win 7... I have decreased the volume of HDD to 55 GB.  Made new simple volumes. I want all the data personal on E, so need to move user directories to E. No individually change the location tab on dozens of files, but in the world. If all new users, I create will have their user and docs folder on E from the gitgo.

Under XP, I could just change the 'My Documents' link on each desktop, go to the e. * instead of c *. *, but with win7?

As a Windows Home Server and most wise OS facilities, the system drive is isolated and a drive of 2 or 3 for everything else.  Get a problem? Just restore the system drive.

    You need the answer?

    Thank you

PS Microsoft: This backup/do imaging software, why don't we name the image so many can all be stored on easily in one place without having to go and rename it or move them elsewhere?

    Hello TomZork,

Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.

In another forum, I found the instructions to move folders of users to another drive.
You can follow the post here. This is attributed to Jimmie R. Houts.

    Article:
You can move the entire folder C:\Users to another drive quite easily once windows is installed:

    1. Boot from the installation media and access the command prompt (I think you need to click on fix everything first)
    2. Use Robocopy to copy C:\Users to D:\Users: robocopy c:\Users d:\Users /mir /xj
      a. /mir says robocopy to mirror directories, this will copy all files and permissions
      b. /xj is very important, it means robocopy does not follow the points of junction. If you forget this, you will have a lot of trouble.
    3. Make sure that the files copied successfully
    4. Delete c:\Users
    5. Create the junction pointing d:\Users: mklink /d c:\Users d:\Users

That's all. I used this process for Vista RTM with no problems.

Here's an article that explains as well. Just use robocopy instead of xcopy as it does in the article in order to avoid possible ntfs permissions problems.

Update: because I discovered the hard way, I thought I would mention also that if you plan on switching "Program Data", or "Program Files" with this method, you will be disappointed to know that everything works as expected, but the windows updates will install is no longer. I don't know if this problem has been fixed in Win 7.

With the foregoing, it is not a Microsoft forum or Web site so you will have to use at your own risk. I also recommend to do a system restore point before making any changes in directories that you can then go back to a previous state.

Please reply back and let us know if these suggestions help you to solve your problem, then to benefit others.

    Sincerely,
