All the troubleshooters NOT working and NO sound

Hello! I have several serious problems that I can't seem to get fixed. First of all my computer has been attacked by a virus on 10/11/14, but my anti-virus (paid Webroot) said it had removed and repaired everything. It happened because I have absolutely no sound. My laptop is old and use Windows 7 Enterprise. I followed every path and the management that I can find, but nothing works. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the sound drivers. My system shows everything works correctly, but there is still no sound. The other major problem is that ALL the troubleshooters fail. I get error 0 x 80131700. What can I do now? Where should I start? Help, please!

Hello

Thanks for posting your question on the Microsoft community.

I would like to know some information about the problem so that we can help you better.

1. What is the brand and model of your computer?
2. what troubleshooting have you done when you say, 'I followed every path and the management that I can find?

Thank you for details on the question and your efforts to resolve.

It is possible that your computer is still infected by a virus or malware. Convenience stores may also not work because of missing or damaged system files.

I understand you used webroot antivirus to scan your computer.

However, for its issue, I suggest you use Microsoft safety scanner to eliminate any virus or malware that can cause the problem.

Microsoft safety scanner

Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

For the question of troubleshooting, I you suggest to run the system file checker (SFC) and then try to run the troubleshooters.
Refer to this article:
Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files

System File Checker is a Windows utility that allows users to find corruptions in Windows system files and restore the damaged files.

I hope this information helps.

Thank you
