  Ah, may not work if the column contains in its own formula in the column itself, it is a reference in itself and may not work (this is where I'd expect a different type of error).

  The links may serve as an alternative to the management of events that represent an action of the user, such as ActionEvents MouseEvents or KeyEvents. ActionEvents are generated when the user takes a specific action, for example on a button, or by pressing the Enter key in a TextField. There is nothing that you can really link to this situation.

  JavaFX defines an API of property that allows to create observable properties (and observable values, whose observable properties are a specific example). You can register ChangeListeners with these observable properties to be notified when their values change. So, for example, TextField has a textProperty containing the value of the text in the text field. If you register a listener changes with textProperty of the text field, it will be notified whenever the text in the text field is changed. (Note that the notification happen essentially on every key shot in the field of text, not just at the point where the user agrees to a value with the Enter key).

  Links to present a simpler alternative to a particular use case for listeners of changes on these properties: when the listener change would simply update the value of another property. For example, the following text:

  In I think JDev 11.1.3 a new af:popup property has been introduced: chiildCreation which can be set to 'deferred '. This property with the property deferred workflow link prevents loading of taskflows displayed in a box inside a pop-up window on the initial page load.

  It is an alternative to the technique of David so that's why the bosses is discouraged.

  The difference however is that, once the popup is open the taskflow is responsible and will remain loaded, consumes resources.
  If you want to release these resources again when you close the pop-up window, you can use the activation on the taskflow binding property. Bind this property to a Boolean property in a managed bean and the value of this property to true when the pop-up window is opened and set it to false when the popup window is closed.

  Here's the sql code using the union that I currently use. There are 64 columns of 3 different tables. Out of all the columns that a single column value is a constant for 2 discs.

  Here's one way that will work in Oracle 9 (or higher):

  Do not refer to m.medium_val in the WHERE clause. Leaving him out, you'll do a cross join of your result set of table1, table2, and table3 with 2 lines in all_medium_vals.

  Starting Oracle 11, there are also SOME... UNPIVOT.

  You will notice that this query is still a UNION, but it's just the UNION of two lines and then by doing the complicated only one query. That will be much more effective that make the complex query twice, and then make a UNION of however many lines that happened to produce. There are ways to generate all_medium_vals without a UNION, but they are not as easy to understand or to debug and are not significantly more effective.

  It is true that timers can cause performance problems in web forms. The reason is that timers cause network traffic to the application server (AS). During the use of timers can force your application to slow down because of this network traffic. The exception to this rule is a timer to a duration of 1 millisecond. These timers are treated as execution immediate timers and forms generate any network traffic at the ACE. However, the definition of the term to 1 millisecond could cause your form works does not correctly too. The alternative to the use of a timer of forms is to use a timer to JavaBean (JB). JavaBeans execute on the client, so no network packet is generated. As a result, they are more efficient and do not affect the performance. Discover A Javabean timer - Oracle Forms PJCs/Java Beans for more information and how to implement a JavaBean timer.

  To be honest with you, unless your network is very slow, or you use "Lots" of timers in form, I think that it is a theoretical question. I have used both types of timers and have not noticed significant difference in the performance of my form. The system, I am currently working on that average users (daily) simultaneous of 2 000-3 000 fr om the East coast to the West Coast. We only use Forms timers (some forms have a many timers) and we have not seen a pretty big impact on our forms to justify using timers JB.

  I would say, if you see any problems in your form with forms Timers, keep their use. If you encounter any problems, then try the JB timers and choose the one that gives your users the best performance.

• Alternative to the HLOOKUP function?

  I'm trying to find the heading of column title if a given value is somewhere in a row.

  HLOOKUP can't be used because it doesen't work with an index of the negative line. Ideas for an alternative?

  That's what I'm doing:

  It is a matrix:

  The header line has elements which are ingredients like sugar, salt, milk etc...

  In column A are elements that are like pancake meals, pasta, Hamburger etc...

  The table shows the 'x' body each where the ingredient applies to meals. = > The line of the pancake is an x in the column of sugar.

  Now, in a second table, I would search for the title of column (sugar) when the line (pancake) has an x in this column.

  

  Ultimately I would like to get the list of ingredients for each meal, but I think I have to solve this problem first in order to get there.
