  Due to the excess of the 'other' space signals in iTunes, I would recommend restoring your device to factory settings to solve the problem. Please follow these steps to restore your iPod classic back to factory settings:

  Restore your device to factory settings

  1. Open iTunes on your Mac or PC.
  2. Connect your iPhone, iPad or iPod to your computer with the cable that came with your device.
