  Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily disables hardware acceleration, restores some settings and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).

  If Firefox is open, you can restart Firefox Safe mode in the Help menu:

  • In Firefox 29,0 and above, click on the menu button

  the last few weeks when I open firefox it opens with no search bar, no address bar, no bars at all. all I have is a blank white page with Mozilla Firefox in the upper left corner and on the upper right reduce it, restore them and close buttons. I can try and open many times and the same thing happens. I tried to reinstall the latest version, I tried the F11 key, the ALT key, all other keys. the only way I can use it is if by chance I get firefox to load with bars, and then I click on a link at random to open a tab and use it. It's very frustrating. I have also shut down my computer completely for about a half hour and rebooted, hoping it would help. I can't open anything to verify anything. There is no bar file/edit/view/...tools for me to change anything. There is nothing more than a blank page. I'd appreciate any help.
