Always when open Firefox Add pop up, RSS, bestvideodowload. How do I remove it?
When I open Firefox it opens not only my home page, but also opens add - our Manager, RSS, new and blogs and Dow load bestvideodowloader
Looks like you have a third-party toolbar which took on your search engine, Home Page or the default new tab Page. Fortunately this can be solved easily:
- At the top of the Firefox window, click the Firefox (Tools menu in Windows XP), and then click Add-ons. Open the tab of the Add-ons Manager.
- In the tab of the Add-ons Manager, select the Extensions Panel.
- Select the toolbar you want to delete.
- Click on the button Delete.
- Click reboot now if it appears. Your tabs will be saved and restored after the restart.
After restarting Firefox, install the Reset search tool. This will remove the rest of the traces of this program to your Firefox.
For more information, please read delete a toolbar that has supported your Firefox or the home page search.

Why do I get restore window when opening firefox since the update
Why do I get restore window when opening firefox since the update. I don't want to restore but it appears every time instead of my homepage as shown
A likely cause is that you first close all Firefox Windows and then close the Firefox application.
Some noted that closing of Firefox (Firefox > Quit) while the browser window is always open works for them.
- Bug 845681 - close all windows and abandonment of Firefox eventually led to about: sessionrestore to appear the next time you start

When opening Firefox, two windows are open
A week ago Firefox opens two windows (my home page and a new empty window) when I open the program. This also occurs if the Web site I'm open a new window (the window for the site) and a new window empty. Until this started, Firefox ran perfectly. Any suggestions?
Hello
Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily disables hardware acceleration, restores some settings and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).
If Firefox is open, you can restart Firefox Safe mode in the Help menu:
- In Firefox 29,0 and above, click on the menu button
click Help
then select restart with disabled modules.
- In previous versions of Firefox, click on the Firefox button in the upper left of the Firefox window and click help (or click on help in the Menu bar, if you do not have a Firefox button) and click on restart with disabled modules.
If Firefox is not running, you can start Firefox in Mode safe mode as follows:
- On Windows: Hold down the SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
- On Mac: Hold the option key during the startup of Firefox.
- On Linux: Exit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox-safe-mode
(you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)
When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "start mode safe."
If the problem is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, theme or hardware acceleration. Please follow the steps described in the section Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems to find the cause.
To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.
When find you what is causing your problems, please let us know. This might help others with the same problem.
- In Firefox 29,0 and above, click on the menu button

How to get rid of yahoo as search engine when opening firefox
When I open Firefox and enter a site in the search box, yahoo appears as a research vehicle. It takes forever to find the required site. I tried various things, but it seems that this feature of Yahoo has been installed when I did another download.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).
- Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode without failure.
- https://support.Mozilla.org/KB/troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes
You can use the SearchReset extension to reset preferences to default values.
Note that the SearchReset extension runs only once and then uninstalls automatically, so it will not appear on the page "> Firefox Add-ons" (topic: addons).
If you do not keep the changes after a reboot or have problems with preferences, see:

I have a loading time long when I open firefox 35. Then cannot connect to the server, but I can open then well websites through my list of bookmarks. Trying to reinstall, didn't help, makes google my homepage in the options does not help.
It is possible that your security (firewall, antivirus) software blocks or limit Firefox or the process of plugin-container without you inform, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.
Delete all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container in the permissions list in the firewall and allow your firewall to ask permission to get access full and unrestricted, again to install for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.

Do a clean reinstall and delete the program folder before Firefox to (re) install a new copy of the current version of Firefox.
- Download the full Firefox installation program and save the file to the desktop
https://www.Mozilla.org/en-us/Firefox/all/
If possible to uninstall your current version of Firefox to clean the Windows registry and settings in the security software.
- Do NOT remove the "personal data" when you uninstall your current version of Firefox, because this will remove all profile folders and you lose personal data such as bookmarks and passwords including data profiles created by other versions of Firefox.
Delete the program folder Firefox before installing newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
- (32-bit Windows) "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\"
- (Windows 64 bit) "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla.
- It is important to remove the Firefox program folder to delete all the files and make sure that there is no problem with the files that were the remains after uninstallation.
Your bookmarks and other personal data are stored in the Firefox profile folder and will not be affected by a uninstall and (re) install, but do NOT delete personal data when you uninstall Firefox which removes all Firefox profile folders and you lose your data.

It then everything disappearscould this be a tracker?
I googled to no effect
Addons then by restarting the deactivation does not work, and I can't find out how to disable the hardware accelerator.
I completely reinstalled the operating system I have three on separate partitions
I use ubuntu11.10 Atm, but it happens on all my linux os I haven't checked much windows
any advice would be welcome.Hello.
I would also like to join in this conversation, because I also see this translucent rectangle then start firefox. I have Firefox 16.0 on VM, and he did not have this behavior. I'm sure that's not a bug, but it's ugly. Firefox is very good browser and should display its main window immediately.

no address or all the bars when opening firefox
the last few weeks when I open firefox it opens with no search bar, no address bar, no bars at all. all I have is a blank white page with Mozilla Firefox in the upper left corner and on the upper right reduce it, restore them and close buttons. I can try and open many times and the same thing happens. I tried to reinstall the latest version, I tried the F11 key, the ALT key, all other keys. the only way I can use it is if by chance I get firefox to load with bars, and then I click on a link at random to open a tab and use it. It's very frustrating. I have also shut down my computer completely for about a half hour and rebooted, hoping it would help. I can't open anything to verify anything. There is no bar file/edit/view/...tools for me to change anything. There is nothing more than a blank page. I'd appreciate any help. This has never happened before, and I had not installed anything new when this started.

Whenever I open Firefox, I get the error message. I uninstalled the product, re-downloaded and installed with the same results. Otherwise, the browser seems to work well.
Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions of the origin of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).

It is possible that there is problem with sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak files in the profile folder
Delete sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the profile folder
- Help > troubleshooting information > profile directory: opens showing the file
If you see files sessionstore-# .js with a number in the left part of the name as sessionstore - 1.js then delete those as well.
You will have to redo the App Tabs and tab groups after delete sessionstore.js.

Everytime I open Firefox, or open a new tab, 2nd tab opens to the page 'Options '. How can I stop this from happening?
Could check you your home page address to ensure that it is not listed there? It would be after a vertical separator, for example:
https://www.mozilla.org/|about:preferences
I think that you are familiar with the information to verify, but just in case: start-up, homepage, tabs and download settings.
Was he there? (Fingers crossed, because the alternatives seem very little likely.)

Whenever I open Firefox, I have to reinstall my apps. I already refreshed Firefox, but it still happens.
What applications? Do you mean the Add-ons?
It is possible that there is a problem with the files that store the registry extensions.
Delete the files (extensions.json, extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini) extensions.* and compatibility.ini in the profile folder of Firefox to reset the extensions registry.
New files will be created if necessary.
